They scammed me twice!

They deserve "-5" stars, they are scammers, they let me forget my money... every time they tell me same lies, like "we will contact you" "refunds and chargeback department", "refund done"...
They keep lying and sending manually done invoices which are full of errors which show that they didn't send me any money and didn't refund anything, they just create manually an invoice full of lies and send it as proof!
When i contact them from any new email, they create new invoice using my new email like they refunded me to it... but i paid twice with the same email, and all other emails are only for chat! 100% proof of scam!
Stay away, they will scam you sooner or later!

After two long years of working with 2Checkout and building my SaaS business from scratch, they terminated my account without any warning or explanation. No red flags, nothing. They claim:
"Please be informed that your account was closed on 30th September. A notification of this was sent to your registered email address." But I never received any notification from their site. My business has been severely affected because I trusted them. To any business relying on 2Checkout.com — think twice. They don't value loyalty, and they don't care about the damage they cause. One email can wipe out years of hard work.

I do not use 2Checkout as a point of sales system. Rather, I am the customer going through 2Checkout to purchase a product from a creator. Do not use this company. It is an invasive nightmare to have to upload sensitive information to their portal for purchase verification. If you use Privacy.com, or services like it, it's even worse, which is quite amusing since their verification service is supposed to prevent fraud, yet fails to function when the customer is using services that actually do protect their banking details. I can confidently say that, from my experience with this company, I will avoid sellers that go through 2Checkout in the future. If you care about your customers' experience? Use a different service.

Disappointed with 2checkout

I was using 2checkout in the past but the account went dormant due to inactivity. Reached out to the support and they said to create a new one. After creating a new one (submitting all the documents properly), they simply denied the approval request. Very disappointing to see the behaviour of the 2checkout team.

It used to work better

I have been using 2checkout as a payment system for 20 years. It has always worked correctly. Unfortunately, since they implemented payments through PayPal, it has become complicated for my clients. The payment entry has become complicated and some of my clients do not want to use PayPal.

Visa and Mastercard are not directly available anymore as payment methods for the account type that you are using.
Starting with July 30th 2021, transactions made using VISA and MasterCard can be processed via PayPal, by either linking the card to an existing PayPal account or using the Guest Checkout option, if available. (PayPal availability and functionality limitations can be verified on their website: https://www.paypal.com/ro/webapps/mpp/country-worldwide)

I'm afraid that this is not a feature that can be changed at the moment, we apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused, and we appreciate the feedback!

We have made some changes to the checkout flow, and the credit card options such as Visa, and MasterCard will be processed only via PayPal. The process is intended to allow the customer to complete their orders as guests and simply insert their details via their PayPal account.

Additionally, transactions made using AMEX, Discover, and JCB are processed using the credit card option available in the checkout cart.

Please consider checking your eligibility for the 2Monetize price plan (which has them enabled) with our Sales team at info@2checkout.com.

I have been using 2checkout since 2001 so it's been more than 20 years until now! I don't use any other payment gateway companies.
2Checkout is very safe to receive online payment and the customer service is excellent too!

I have been using 2Checkout for just over 5 years. My experience up to the beginning of November of this year was okay, I would give them either 3 or maybe 4 stars. Then on November 2 our regular payout bank transfer never arrived at our bank. We have asked for proof and the SWIFT document for the transfer. Neither have been provided. We have asked for the sending bank contact information, they refuse to provide it. We ask our receiving bank to see what they could do and they ask for the SWIFT document so they could trace. Now I choose to give them 1 star because zero is not an option. We are a small business and a missing payment of several customer invoice and purchase payments have not arrived after 48 days and no information that is needed is being provided. So that is my experience!

Good but could be better

Sometimes the payout gets delayed even though the payment was done within the reporting period, often there have been cases when they said that they would pay me on a date, but then pushed it back by a week. Nothing too extreme but frustrating nonetheless.

Absolute Incompetence

We had heard great things about 2Checkout, but when we tried to sign up, we found nothing but issues.

The biggest issues were the fact that your support departments are slow to respond and uncooperative.

In the end, we were told by 2Checkout that they would not be willing to offer services to a company like ours, since our services were research, podcasts and videocasting.

We'll never consider 2Checkout again and are making sure to tell everyone that we know to avoid your service because after wasting 3 weeks of our time, we were denied an account.
