Shocking customer service. Product not available so advised by supplier to contact Wowcher for refund. A week now and still no reply after various WhatsApp messages. Not even cheap when delivery is added on. Will never use again. Should be refunding people ASAP in this current climate instead of keeping hold of our money. Would give nil stars if I could

Item not received, several messages/emails unanswered, promise of full refund- but never materialised, live chats cut off midway through complaint. Persisted with complaint, insisted I wanted refund immediately. Realised they had offered me another wowcher which they placed in my wallet without telling me. I only got my money back by contacting Barclay Card, and forwarding the necessary information

Today I tried to order a kids doodle pad for £7.99. I was immediately charged £227.94. It seems I purchased other items like an umbrella, kids building block, an Armani watch, Christmas crackers etc... I did not even click on those items, never mind order them. I tried to cancel immediately but Wowcher only accepts WhatsApp messages... I paid via Paypal so I have opened up a fraudulent activity case. I hope Paypal will see it for what it is and pull the money back from Wowcher to reimburse me. This was shocking for a well known website to do this.
Edit: After a WhatsApp exchange, and reminding them of the Distance Selling Legal rules, I was fully refunded. I've tried to unsubscribe three times, but those ‘offers' just keep coming! Put simply, Do Not Use.

With a we really couldnt care that your husband has cancer and because of the treatment has been unable to activate the vouchers we were given by his son kind of attitude! The expiry date to use them had passed and to be honest it wasnt the first thing on our minds as my husband had 2 operations with life changing consequences. Don't touch them with a barge pole. I ordered a coffee table on the 8 th July now into August and it hasn't turned up. Spent £139 plus £20 for delivery. I'm at my wit's end trying to contact them. It's an absolute joke. I think the customer service is in China and they don't seem to understand your situation. They just keep fobbing you off. I've contacted my bank but I don't hold out much hope in getting my money back. I don't know how they're getting away with it. Someone has to stop them.

Charged for voucher extension which appeared to be postage cost & VIP year so cost me an extra £9 - have managed to request refund for VIP rubbish, but told the other 3.98 is non refundable. Such a con - won't be buying from them again!

Asked for a refund within the time frame (screen shot proof of times & dates provided), they chose not to reply till after the timescale claimed I did not contact them in time.
Customer services are rude & just give you the same automatic response to differing questions. There is no way they will refund you if they can get away with it as they obviously do time & time again.
First time using and wish I would have read reviews before paying out money.
How they are allowed to trade is beyond me.

Purchased thru Woucher an item over 100 pounds. Now after numerous e mails they tell me it is lost. They also charged 20 pounds carriage after I had paid for item. Challenged that as it is illegal not to put all charges upfront. They say it was in fine print but if you pay for it that page doesn't appear. They then said they would credit 20 quid. This isn't a credit to your bank account but a credit against any item you will purchase from them in the future. I have sent literally dozens of messages with no reply saying that's this is illegal. Do not buy from this firm they are scammers

Feeling scammed! Purchased a product which hasn't arrived. Wowcher claiming voucher not redeemed and expired…no refund due. It's taken 33 hours to get a response on WhatsApp which is essentially a cut and paste of T&Cs and don't answer original query. Sent response immediately with no reply to date. I will never use again…avoid at all costs!

I have ordered from Wowcher several times and each time has been a disaster. Last year i ordered some items for Christmas which never arrived. They refused to offer a refund and instead gave me credit in my "wowcher wallet". When I came to redeem it, they charged my credit card again! If you try to contact them they take you on a long circuitous route of recorded messages which always ends at their "live chat" where you get to chat to an inept robot for 24 hrs. The answer is always the same: we cannot refund you. Would you like more wowcher credit that you can never use?

Don't waste your money on this it is just big enough to fit in your hand an absolute waste of money nothing like it shows and took 3 weeks to come from China l was going to put them on my garden wall but there just about sit on my tiny window sill

Wowcher took my money for a mystery parcel of £9.99 which cost me £14.98 and then fail to deliver. On their website, there isn't a contact link or a complaint page. And I have no way of getting my money back.

Really terrible company. On two occasions now bought software via the site. Twice they advertised what was on offer if I redeemed the voucher. Twice the software companies failed to provide the appropriate software in one case software doesn't work and the supporting classes to learn it aren't even provided by the company

Wowcher's response you redeemed the voucher take it up with the supplier. Suppliers response wowcher didn't list its package right and they made the mistake. Eventually gave up with voucher as they were no help despite retrospectively changing the advert. Merchant promised a refund which actually was not forth coming and offered teams meeting to resolve issue also which didn't happen as their links didn't work so spent £100 for nothing a complete disgrace. Buyer beware.

No words can describe how dishonest this company is. I purchased 2 palm tree plants on 01/04/2020 via PayPal. The plants never arrived, so I contacted them via email and was told a refund cannot be given, but on this occasion a credit will be applied to your account. This is complete and utter nonsense. Nearly 2 months later and after launching a dispute through PayPal, I have received a full refund. Avoid all the stress & anxiety that we are all going through at this difficult time and purchase from a local or reputable store. Steer clear at all costs is my advice.

The company doesn't have a customer service number.
Only whatsapp is there to raise the queries.

After several messages on whatsapp, finally someone closed my issue (without resolution) saying that I talked to him/her.

My understanding is that this was done by the dump chat robot.

Conclusion:
Covid and Wowcher - avoid both

Don't bother. Wowcher look like good deals but underlying delivery charges and no chance of a refund should anything go wrong or change your mind.

Charged me twice for delivery when items are being delivered to same address on the same truck.

Even the company selling the item said it was a scam and that wowcher should definitely refund one lot of shipping.

You can't call them and their advisors on WhatsApp are no help / will not put you through to any managers.

Absolute scam and avoid avoid avoid

I bought this only to find out when I opened the box it was not sealed.The iron has water inside, some scratches even plug looks old. It is not even the actual photo of the iron in their website!

I am really upset! The product seem to be not the right one on photo. I have communicated through whatsapp and the agent told me to transfer me to another agent and did not come back. Very misleading to customers. We need to take this matter to consumer credit. It is not fair for everyone here!

A scam of a company that will take your money if you don't redeem a voucher within a certain time limit. They won't issue refunds only Wowcher credit. The customer service is atrocious and takes months to resolve anything and you will be made to jump through hoops to get anywhere. They try to steal your money
