World of Watches

I ordered a rose gold Movado watch for my girlfriend but before I received it, I found it cheaper at Jacobtime.com. I saw World of Watches had a 30 day price match guarantee, so I called them to explain I found the watch for a better price. The lady who picked up, who spoke to me in a tone indicating she hated her job, her life, and me, immediately says, "I can give you $10 off but that's it". At this point all I had said to her was that I found the watch for a better price. I had not yet told her where I found it or how much better the price was. So I said, "But what about your price match guarantee?" She acted like she didn't know what I was talking about, and then tells me to hold. About two minutes later, she came back and said, "That guarantee says we match prices at our discretion." Again, I had not told her anything about the lower priced watch yet though, so I have no idea how she was using discretion... it sounded to me like she was never, ever going to match the price from the moment I got on the phone. In other words, the guarantee is actually that they do NOT match prices. Anyway, when I got the watch, it was fake, of course. I mean, a Movado with a second hand that "ticks"? Jesus, it's like they weren't even trying. So I sent it back, had to pay $14 for shipping and insurance, and then they returned my money, but minus $10 for their original shipping cost. Basically I spent $24 to finance WofW attempted fraud. Do yourself a favor, stay away from these guys. FYI the watch I got from Jacobtime.com was the exact same fake Movado. I've been on Movado's website and the watch simoly does not exist. Plus, all research I have done indicates that a Movado will never come with a "ticking" second hand (most don't even have second hands).
