I've been a woot customer for about two years. I've been very happy with all my purchases. Shipping can be a little slow sometimes, but I don't mind since it's cheap. I check the new deal every day and enjoy the occasional "woot-off" where they sell a bunch of products one at a time till each one sells out. I've never had any problems that weren't quickly resolved to my satisfaction.
I've been using Woot.com for several years and gotten many good deals from here. They have a daily deal of the day on all their sites (Kid's Woot, Sports Woot, Wine Woot etc.). They also have what are called "Woot off's" every so often-basically it's many flash deals per day that last until stuff sells out. I also enjoy their descriptions (funny as heck!) and that they have a forum in which people can talk about the product and their experiences if they own it. Shipping is great... it is usually one flat price for up to 3 of the same item, however their shipping can be a bit on the slow side. If you don't need something right away I reccomend them highly... I have gotten lots of great deals there.
I'd never heard of Woot.com until my credit card company contacted me about suspicious activity. Over $1,000 on eight different transactions. I received a pair of shoes I didn't order. I've been trying to contact Woot. No customer service. No phone number. You can only send an e-mail, which gets you an automatic response and nothing else (so far). I can't tell you to stay away from the as I hadn't heard of them till they started running up my credit card.
I bought a lot of stuff in the past and felt it was better than amazon.com market place and ebay. Not anymore! This time, I bought a factory refurbished laptop for over $438 but received a seriously worn-out used, decolorized one along with a heavy aftermarket AC adapter. In no where in their description mentioned the condition. To return it, it was a headache; they will not refund if you do not keep on writing to them. Amazon's a-to-z guarantee was also not helpful; they said they could locate the order and asked me to call woot.com. So be prepared for all these mess if you use woot.com further. This store should be closed like 1sale, and the customer will be better off with individual sellers on eBay or marketplace.
Wasn't impressed at all. They are offering very strange products in my opinion. Today's woot is an ION Audio Profile LP USB Turntable for $60. What the hell is this? I don't think it is even a record player. They are also offering a coffee machine and kids quilt (only $8 but no description about the size, it looks really small).
I used to love Woot. Checked it every morning, bought a lot of great things, sang its praises to friends. Then, it started adding more and more junk and quality went down. "Community" discussions were no longer reliable but instead seemed fabricated by shills. And with no return policy, buying became a lot riskier. And finally, the shipping got stupidly slow - I could get stuff from China faster then Woot. My most recent purchase was ordered a month ago and still not here. I give up. I'm done with what used to be a great part of my daily shopping.
I bought an MP3 player off of this site for next to nothing and now I made woot my homepage to see what they offer every single day. I am not a big online shopper, but this site has some amazing deals that just can't be beat.
I purchased three watches that are more bling than anything else (difficult to tell until you receive them) - I notified them immediately requesting a return. Woot says they won't accept any of them back and I have to eat them. Aren't these people part of Amazon? I'd give them zero stars if I could and I'm going to avoid ever buying from them again (or at least, only buy stuff I'm very familiar with). Crappy policy, crappy product.
I purchased and elliptical. Put it together to find it was made for people with two right legs. If you have a left leg you will not be able to use this machine (the left arm had the roller welded on upside down, no fixing that). How did Woot! Reply to my email requesting they replace the item? " Sorry that your item is not working properly "... they then suggested I contact the company and see if it is covered under warranty. Be sure you read their return policy. It is the worst ever. Basically you buy whatever they plan to stick in the box. Are you a company with alot of crap to unload? Give Woot! A call!
Ordered an iPhone received confirmation of the sale. Logged in acct to check status of order (shipping info), now order is showing denied. Woot says my bank would not authorize after multiple attempts. Bank says Woot never attempted to charge for the purchase. You can only email this company & it takes about 24 hrs to get a response back. Not impressed.
Woot no longer seems to respond to messages about returns. Has their policy changed to "ignore customer problems and maybe they'll just go away?"
I have sent two messages over ten days with nada back from Woot. I think I will shop elsewhere... so should everyone if this is how much they care about their customers. 1/22/2016

The only thing that comes to mind about Woot is poor broken junk they sell and try to tell you its new well guess what it is junk. My sound bar was shipped broken and it was sad to deal with them. No more for me buying from them. Beware they are crooks.
I love this site except I spend way to much money. But it's at such big savings, so it's okay, right?!? I ordered some Pyrex and it was on my doorstep 4 days later. Super speedy Amazon shipping. Love love love.
I've bought several things off woot but wasn't aware that their 'warranty' is more of an 'as is' policy. I got a smart watch that quit a month later. The real warrant would have been a year but WOOT's warranty for exchange only is 21 days. It's a piece of junk I would have really liked to return or EVEN exchange but basically I'm totally screwed. So unless you are buying something like a clay pot, don't do it!
I have cancelled my order in less then 15 mins of time I placed my order. It should be cancelled. Based on my experience, I have to pay money even, if I like the product or not? I never ever buy stuff on woot, and I will make sure people I know wont buy stuff from this website. They dont even have proper customer care phone number to talk.
I check out this site every day. I don't buy anything, but I have wanted to and my younger brother and my dad have both bought items from here. Neither had complaints about anything they got, but said shipping can be slow.
Be sure to read the descriptions. Some things are refurbished. I almost got a pocket video from them, but saw it was refurbished and a new one same size wasn't too much more considering it would have a better warranty.
Stay away if you are an impulse shopper. You won't be able to resist the deals.
Ordered a laptop from Woot. Initially happy with price and performance. Two days later, the laptop died. Would not hold a charge. Tried for two days and couldn't get it to boot up. I'm an IT Director and I even had my IT Ops guys look at it. Returned it as defective and wanted a replacement. Woot did not have it, so they offered refund. Once I sent it back, for some magical reason, Woot says the laptop is fine and they couldn't find any problems with it. After 4 email exchanges, Woot basically called me a liar and charged me a restocking fee. It's only $40, but they just lost a customer. Been ordering from them since 2005. If you want customer service that won't call you a liar then DO NOT order from Woot.
Stay Away. I ordered a nexus 10 tablet from this website. Order was confirmed. Waited for 5 days but did not see the product shipped. Logged into woot to check my purchase history, I saw the message "You have not made any purchases yet" message. WTF? There is no phone number to contact them, so I emailed them. No Response. Now I lost the window to make another Black Friday purchase as these $#*!s confirmed my purchase:-(
Woot.com has it figured out... If they want money, they run an ad for an item that everyone wants, they collect the money immediately without shipping the merchandise. Then they get at least a few weeks free loan before they have to refund your money "because we over-sold". What a freakin' crock! Happened to me with the Yeti 30 cooler. I will NEVER shop there again!
I used to be a fan of Woot!, however, their customer service has gone downhill.
I ordered a cable modem by mistake and immediately cancelled my order, per their instructions. (04/24). The ordered showed as cancelled on their site. However, after two weeks of no refund, I attempted to contact customer service three separate times with zero response.
I resorted to posting on their comment boards to get their attention. It was suggested (by their admin) that I put in yet another request. This time I did receive a response (on 5/12) that I would be refunded.
On 06/02, after no refund, I contacted Pay Pal and put in a dispute. Today (06/08) I received notification from PayPay that the issue was resolved and they recovered my funds.
Customer service is severely lacking at Woot! These days.
