BUYER BEWARE... If I could give this company zero stars I would. I purchased two chairs and a coffee table, and I never received the items. When I attempted to explain to Woodland Creek furniture company that the items which were supposedly delivered by their shipping company (who would not talk to me about the missing items), was never received, and that there was no proof that the items were EVEN delivered. Woodland Creek did not request an investigation by their shipping company, or request to speak to the driver to determine where exactly the items were dropped off at. They didn't even file a claim with their shipping company. Instead, they treated me like I was lying and refused to resolve the issue in any way. Let me point out that I have purchased several items from this company, and this is the only time I have ever had a problem, and I was not valued for my patronage in any way. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY DO NOT VALUE REPEAT CUSTOMERS OR ATTEMPT TO RESOLVE ANY ISSUES THAT A CUSTOMER MY FACE AS A RESULT OF SHOPPING AT THIER STORES. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.

Horrible experience - scam alert!

You have to be home within two days to receive your order or they charge you $100 a day to store it or if you cancel the item they charge you $275 to ship it back plus 25%.
They told me I should have notified them during them anytime in the 30 day window if I was to go out town. The company is a scam. I purchased a ton of furniture from them well over 15k worth. It either shows up damaged or not as described.

I will echo the other reviews here. Do not do business with Woodland Creek Furniture.

My personal experience: We ordered a dining table, coffee table, and end table on 3/23/2023 and paid in full at the time of purchase. The estimated lead time on each item was 12-14 weeks. I phoned them in May inquiring about an update. I was given an estimated completion of 6/28/2023 with an additional crating and shipping time of 10-14 days. This window came and went with zero correspondence from Woodland Creek, and I inquired again about an update in the third week of July. I was told that the coffee table and end table were finished, but there was an issue during the quality check of the dining room table and that it had to be sent back to the builder to fix an epoxy issue. I received no update or correspondence at all and reached back out to them on 8/7/2023. I was told and I quote "Your order will be completed tomorrow and will ship in 7-10 business days." After receiving zero correspondence, updates, shipping notifications, etc. again, I contacted them again on 8/21/2023. I was told that the same defect was found during the quality check and that in addition that, the table top had warped, quote, "into the shape of a taco" and that a new table top would have to be made with an estimated lead time of three weeks. I was offered a discount of $360. I was not satisfied with this and the discount offer was increased to $540.

After discussing this with my wife, I canceled the entire order. Then received a phone call from a warehouse manager apologizing. He offered me free white glove delivery, and the $540 discount, and guaranteed that it would ship the following Friday if I kept the order. We accepted the offer and waited. Friday came and went and I contacted them today for an update. I was informed that the entire order was canceled, with no explanation why, and no one had contacted me to tell me this.

Do not trust this company, buy furniture elsewhere.

What a horrible experience with this company. Ordered a piece of custom furniture that was shipped two weeks late to begin with and now having difficulties with FEDEX to get it delivered and they are NO HELP! Find someplace else to spend your money! This piece of furniture better be fantastic when it arrivers or I'll be back on that.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Ordered a set of dining room chairs from this company. They took months longer than originally projected to arrive. The only updates I received on my purchase were when I called to inquire. When the furniture arrived, it was loose in the back of the delivery truck. Not surprisingly, one chair had been smashed. The company shipped a replacement, which I was expected to finish assembly on myself. If I wanted to build my own furniture, I'd have done it from the start. I still haven't figured out how to get the chair finished and useable. I'm likely going to have to hire someone to do it. Not worth the trouble and customer service is not helpful.

I ordered a large table from Woodland. The table came as promised and was not damaged. I am satisfied with the furniture,

However - I had paid for white glove threshold shipping. What this apparently means is that they bring a huge crate and leave it inside the first door. The crate looked undamaged but I was unable to inspect the furniture for damage. I was left to uncrate the table using a hammer and crowbar. This took me over an hour. I can only imagine if someone did not have the tools or had a bad back.

The fact that customers are required to uncrate their own product, even when paying for highest level of deliver MUST BE DISCLOSED ON THE WEBSITE. I reported this to a customer service agent and requested to speak to a manager to get this disclosed - Still waiting for that call back...

Recently purchased bedroom furniture. Had to pay to have delivered. Customer service listened and followed up. We are now being reimbursed for the cost. They really do care about their customers. Very happy with furniture. Well made in USA. Restored my faith in them. Will purchase again from Woodland Creek Furniture

WOODLAND CREEK FURNITURE
$$$$ DOES NOT COME READY TO INSTALL $$$$

What you will not find on their page are these facts:

They do not drill holes for faucet
Quote from owner never have never will
So make sure you take into account the risks of drilling into your brand new expensive vanity
They do not install the sink
So make sure you take into account the risks of mounting your own sink
Superior Customer Service I beg to differ
My shelves did not fit in my cabinet - oops
My sink did not come with my vanity oops
Said Friday I would have Sink Monday, nope oops
My cabinet door is ΒΌ off oops
The owner would like everyone to know for all the aggravation and oops, my risks taken modifying vanity and weeks of phone calls he did offer a whopping $100 off.

Had I known any of this I would never had ordered this outrageously expensive vanity.

I purchased a vanity and asked if I could put a rush on it. Was told that after three weeks, they would check and get back to me. Three weeks later, I called and was told they nobody knew anything about a rush. After four weeks I tried to find out status and got promises that "they would check" and call me. No one ever called me. Finally, I was told it would ship "today or tomorrow." A week later it actually shipped and then it arrived with no sink. Called about sink and was told they "would check" and call me back. No call. After I left a message, I got a sarcastic message telling me the sink had shipped. Instead of getting the vanity, with sink early, I am getting it three weeks late without so much as a "sorry for the inconvenience." I will never buy from them again.

Ordered a customized (my choice of carvings and an additional side rail) log bed. The carvings were what I expected and I have nothing bad to say about that. But the side rail I requested placed BETWEEN the two in the original bed design (thinking it would fill the gap) was instead added equally spaced from the others forming a "rail fence" look in stead of the log "wall" look I had intended. When I complained about the side rail configuration, I was told "it was how the bed was designed" (on a customized bed). To send it back would have cost 25% of the bed plus shipping on a 600 pound crate - Needless to say they stuck me with a bed I don't like he look of.

STAY AWAY!
February 19, 2014

STAY AWAY! Woodland creek furniture made me a table out of old barnyard wood. When the table arrived I was excited. UNTIL I saw a gouge on the side. A few days went by and then the wood started to separate big time. I called and called NOONE would help. They kept saying it passes our guidelines. They don't care about their customers! They only care about a sell. This table was extreamly expensive. RIP OFFS!
