Very suspicious timing on my purchase of a vintage magazine which was confirmed, but never sent and suspicious purchases with the same card days and weeks later. I never got any reply from this company trying to follow up on my purchase via their contact form and phone, and the purchase was not fulfilled. I am positive this was the site that stole my CC info and I had issues shortly after my "purchase" here resulting in fraudulent charges and having to replace my card.
Purchased a very common book at an average price.
Firstly they shipped the wrong item. I let them know they proceeded to charge me the full amount again. No response regarding the double charge.
They then shipped the correct item which was listed as good condition. It is in damaged condition. Should be listed as damaged to poor condition. Pages are completely separated from spine! The book is in two pieces. Ridiculous.
I could've purchased from any number of sellers at the same price.
Absolutely regrettable purchase.
Still no acknowledgement of the double charge. I've paid an insane amount for a damaged book.
Received damaged $165.50 vintage Jethro Tull poster. Wolfgang's express policy on their packing slip is "we guarantee your order against damage that may occur during the shipping process." I promptly notified them of the damage and sent photos. Their ultimate response was that they would sell me another poster at 40% off. Extremely disappointed. I will never buy another poster from these people.
Shop elsewhere. Terrible experience on multiple orders. Customer service does not answer phone or email. Sent wrong items. Impossible to return exchange. Had to turn to credit card and paypal for remedy. An amateur operation that does not meet basic expectations of service.
I ordered some great old allman brothers stuff from here. The shirt was awesome and came practically instantly. Also, i found a coupon code after i already made the purchase. I called and they applied it to the order, no problem.
Pretty seamless transaction here and the selection is just awesome. You can spend hours looking around the site. Great place.
I bought an item from this business late last year (2021) and it was literally falling apart. This was NOT the item pictured in the image on the website. It took over a week for me to hear back from them and they did nothing for me. I am very disappointed and I would not buy from this business again nor would I recommend it. Seems very duplicitous.

This company fraudulently bills 3.99 a month on my credit card. I have tried to call them over and over. I leave messages, they never call back. This has been going on for over a year. They conveniently won't let you cancel your subscription on-line, you have to call them. However, they never answer their phone. Someone needs to take this company to court and have them closed down for fraud.
Bought a couple thousand dollafs worth of posters. Some not delivered. NO refund on those not delivered. Called them 25 plus times. Have never heard back. Worst customer service imaginable. Have they stolen my moeny?

I tried for the better part of 3 years to have Wolfgangs cancel my membership that they charged to my VISA monthly. Finally canceled my VISA card and suddenly they are talking to me. Their customer service sucks. Don't sign up!
Poster I ordered was shipped and I received it within a week. The condition was exactly as Wolfgang's had advertised it I will definitely use this company again in the future.

Shipping posters is something that takes time to master. We still get nervous when shipping the last ones we will ever have. As you may know, most of the items we have cannot be replaced. They are a beloved piece of history, so when they are gone they are lost forever.

I found a 14"x21 1/2" Kinks Taj Mahal poster on this website for $103.00. I put it in my cart that evening. The next morning when I tried to complete the order the price was now $153.00. I emailed them twice and left phone messages twice asking about the increase in price. I received no response to my inquiries. I ordered the poster anyway since I needed it for a Xmas present. ( wish I hadn't) I did get emails saying they received my order and another when it had been shipped but still no response to my previous inquiries.
When the poster arrived it appeared to be brand new and could have been printed yesterday and not in 1969 for the concert. I have no idea. No letter of authenticity, nothing. I could have gotten a new reproduction of the poster same size for $12.00 from other websites and not known the difference judging from appearance.
I considered returning it but from reading other reviews this is probably not a good idea.
From my experience I would say "buyer beware" if doing business with Wolfgang's..

This issue has many facets. So, we apologize for the frustration this has caused.
- It sounds like the sale had a deadline. In that case, it would change the price of any items you saved in your cart as well.
- Christmas time is our busiest time of year. Many people do not realize that we are a small company. It's easy to overwhelm our small customer service department in times of high column.
- The vast majority of our collection comes from the archives of Bill Graham Presents, which was carefully managed by BGP from 1966 until our acquisition, and is now managed and preserved by Wolfgang’s. Upon request, we offer Certificates of Provenance signed by the archivist.

So Wolfgang had a sale on t-shirts. I saw a few I really liked and ordered them and more so-so shirts because they were a good deal. Paid for 15 items total. They sent me 10 items and none of the shirts that I really really wanted! So I contacted them and asked what happened. They made up the excuse that their system was old and only refreshed once a day. And the items were sold out. So why didnt they tell me they couldnt complete the order? (It might have changed my mind about the order completely.) So they decided to give me $25 credit. Okay I guess thats fine. So the sale continues and I need to use my credit and shirts are now down to$7 apiece. So I need to use the credit on something so I buy 3 shirts. They send me one shirt and my credit is now gone. I contact them again asking what happened and where was the rest of my credit? Well they re-issued my $25 credit (which was cool) but now they raised the price of shirts back to $32 apiece. (which means my credit cant even buy a single thing! BUT THE F**KING WORST PART IS NOW THE SHIRTS THEY WOULDNT SELL ME SAYING THEY WERE SOLD OUT ARE now AVAILABLE AGAIN SUDDENLY AT $32! GO F**K YOURSELVES LYING SCUMBAGS!
Negative stars if possible! Purchased and paid for 15 items from Wolfgangs vault. They decided to send me ONLY 10 items without consulting me that I would NOT be receiving the rest of the items! WHAT ASSHOLES!
