Have used WOB several times now and find it my goto site for books as well as cd and dvds that have attracted my attention, often golden oldies but some pretty new stuff as well.
The service is excellent, prices are often very good, and there is a healthy and changing selection to peruse or find that specific item, speaking of which I took a while to find the best way to search but I think I have it done pat now.
In conclusion very pleased to recommend.

Good company but why have you changed your name to the ridiculous Wob? It doesn't sound like a book store.
We started in 2002 with a mission to find used books new homes. A lot has changed since then as we've expanded into new countries and new products, so we wanted a new name which reflects who we are now.
Lots of our customers and fans have already shortened our name to Wob, so it made sense to choose this for our new name.
For us, books will always be our first passion, but now we are so much more! By changing our name to Wob, we're keeping true to our heritage & changing for the future.
II recently ordered a book from World of Books and was delighted with the service I received. Ordering was simple and my package duly arrived three days later. I think that the book was second hand but that didn't matter, it was in very good condition. All in all I was delighted.

I love World of Books. It is such a wonderful concept & organisation and I buy all my books from there. The quality is fantastic and you could never find it cheaper.
Plus I love that I am 'reusing a read', which has been enjoyed or hated many times before me.
My only hope is they start doing gift vouchers as they would make wondeful gifts.

Book was cateogorised as 'Very Good' - the book I got was in appalling condition (water damage, mould spots, heavily-dogended discoloured pages, some pages ripped or with holes. This copy would not even make into the lowest category 'Well Read'.
I was extremely disappointed with the quality of this copy. Overall I have been very happy with the service provided by 'World of Books', and had decided to shift from 'Book Depository' to WOB, and buy the bulk of books from WOB going forwards. The quality of this title, and more importantly, the difficulty I have found in contacting WOB and having the situation rectified (the feeling I get is that a very high, thick wall has been erected between the buyer and the seller), has sent me, with a heavy heart, back to Book Depository.
