I regularly buy books from WoB here in the U. K. and have never had any problems. Great prices and service. I am never disappointed if a book is not in perfect condition as that is the nature of second hand. If people have written in them I feel a connection with the last person to read it so that doesn't bother me at all.(maybe that's because I studied archaeology) Thankyou WoB, you kept me sane during covid lockdowns!

I ordered a copy of spell songs that should of included a cd of songs. I was eager to listen but have spent over seven days trying to sort out returning the book. I didn't receive a return label and have just spent £3.35 returning it so am not happy. I ordered another copy which was fine but the cost and inconvenience are not what was expected. Overall a good company,normally,and have not had cause to grumble before.

I am retired and enjoy a lot of activities and hobbies. My church has a group that makes mats for the homeless out of plastic bags that I participate in, they are crocheted. I also knit some and like to sew and I read a lot. H

I've used Wob (previously World of Books) for a few years. Their website is easy to navigate, and the prices are competitive. In addition, the ordering process is straightforward; the books are well packaged for transit and arrive in the condition stated on the website. Wob keeps you informed throughout the whole process. I have ordered from WOB.com three times now and without a doubt is my favourite source or buying books. It's so affordably cheap and the quality is amazing. Yes some books can be a bit frayed and other defaults but that is to be expected with second hand books. I'm definitely going to be using this website in the future as a source of buying books and you should too. There's a huge array of books from fiction novels to graphic novels. There's even video games and CDs. I rate it 5 stars cause personally I've had no issues what so ever and I'm overall massively pleased with the results and conditions my books come in.

Their site says orders available in the US will take 5 to 12 business days. I was told 7 to 10 (which was fine) then they changed it to 7 to 14, now they changed it again to 7 to 30! The only option for contacting them is a chatbot which is really unhelpful. I would think twice about doing business with these guys.

I wished I would've read reviews before purchasing from Wob. I placed an order on July 2. As of July 3, there has been a tracking number assigned. The tracking shows the items have been picked up by shipping partner, OSM Worldwide, on July 3 and USPS is awaiting the package. Shipping appears to be non existent. No way to contact the company and speak to someone. However, I've already been charged for the items. The package is still hundreds of miles away. Very frustrating. This was my first and last time ordering from Wob. Terrible experience.

Ordered a DVD of Happy Days from Wob for my Dad's birthday. It was used but was in excellent condition, no cellophane on it obviously but other than that it was in mint condition. My dad was thrilled to be able to catch up on a selection of episodes from this tv show and I was very pleased with the delivery as it came exactly when expected.

My son wanted a particular book for Xmas and since it was out of print, I could only find one new copy at a ridiculous price. I spoke to him about it and he assumed I was aware he bought second hand hard back books, so after quite a search, I discovered WOB, ordered the book, then went on to order a couple for myself. All arrived quicker than I expected and were of a very acceptable standard, which encourages me to use them in future.

Ordered several books and a couple of them arrived not fit for purpose, brown crispy pages, old pages. These books not fit for purpose. Wob need to sit down and review who deals with the quality control of used books. Will use other used book sellers in future. Shame really because up until now wob books were not posted in the condition of infested with sunburn page rot.

I find it really easy to use the site, they had the book I wanted, it was 2nd hand but you'd never guess, and as a bonus it was a surprise to find it had been signed by the author and at less than half price! It came by royal mail when they said it would. I'm so pleased with this company.

II recently ordered a book from World of Books and was delighted with the service I received. Ordering was simple and my package duly arrived three days later. I think that the book was second hand but that didn't matter, it was in very good condition. All in all I was delighted.

The book I received had been extensively damaged by water — cover warped and rippled, pages swollen — yet the WOB listing said it was in good condition. Their definition of "good" includes this: "a book that has been read but remains in clean condition." My book was not in clean condition.
Dishonest listing. Do not recommend.

Excellent books, usually in very good condition - and sometimes books that are very hard to find, including books in languages other than English. I'd prefer them to be packed in paper rather than plastic, but otherwise, full marks!
