My order of 12 bottles arrived with 11 bottles. I reached out and was offered a credit on a future order. Not the best option in my opinion. This was for a charity virtual wine tasting, so as long as the organization gets their portion, I can live with it - it is more about the charity than the wine, but people should be aware. This is not an optimal way to do business. Will not purchase again. The $12 credit isn't enough incentive to try again.

RECENTLY I WAS EMAILED A SALE ON THEIR WINES. AND SPENT HOURS PLACING AN ORDER FOR 15 BOTTLES AND IT WAS ACCEPTED SHOWING THE TOTAL AFTER THE DISCOUNT BUT WHEN I TRIED TO PLACE THE ORDER IT WOULD NOT GO THRU. I THEN EMAILED THEM OF THIS AND WAS TOLD THEY HAD SOLD OUT BUT AGAIN OFFERED ME TO PLACE AN OTHER ORDER FOR THE SAME PRICE PER BOTTLE AND AGAIN I SPENT HOURS PICKING MY SELECTION AND AGAIN IT WOULD NOT GO THRU EVEN THO IT SHOWED THE BOTTLES AVAILABLE AFTER SEVERAL TRYS I GAVE UP AND WILL PICK ANOTHER COMPETITOR TO ORDER FROM. I DOIN'T HAVE TIME TO SPEND ORDERING PRODUCTS THAT FALSLY ADVERTISED AS AVAILABLE
I love wine, especially red. I live in PA where the stores are state run. Therefore the selection is limited, even in the premium stores. I try to keep away from California wines because they make me feel ill the next day. Wine Insiders gives me a chance to get a case of wine, with just European selections, delivered to my house. No carrying heavy clanking bottles. Delivered quickly. My only "gripes" for lack of a better term, would be the occasional bottle that did not sit well with my palette. I rely on the company to suss out the best tasting wines, so it is shocking when one comes that is tart and not full bodied. Then again, maybe I chose poorly and did not understand the description? Either way, with other bottles being fantastic i just expect them all to be winners. But at the price I've paid, I chalk it up to inexpensively trying something new. I will keep using this service and recommending to others
