The 365 Angel Hair Dry Pasta, when cooked, became totally bubbly & effervescent (!). A sign of a heat-activated (!) bacteria that creates spores: the bacteria & it's spores are toxic & poisonous: cause nausea, vomiting & diarrhea. When touched the pasta crackled & popped. IF you see this in your pasta: do NOT EAT. Throw it away: contaminated wheat.

Curry dinner ruined!
June 7, 2023

I'm all for organic, but the food still has to be edible. I stopped counting worms in the cauliflower at 5...possibly 6. The entire cauliflower was moving! Additionally, it had black mold spots all over one of the sides. Similarly, the cilantro had multiple black and slimy stems. The produce was just awful and unusable.

Flavorless Organic Outdoor Access Eggs
July 22, 2022

I've been shopping at WFM for decades and have always been satisfied with their products. Recently, I purchased their brand of organic outdoor access eggs. Boy, was I disappointed. The yolks were pale and watery and the eggs were nearly tasteless. I wonder if the hens are fed only a poor quality grain instead of produce and insects. I'll never purchase WFM eggs again. Of course, now that WFM is owned by Amazon, maybe one shouldn't expect quality.

I avoid this place. They were giving small samples of some juice. It was good and I asked the price. They said $4. I said was it meant to drink 15 ml increments? The said no. I don't live in a world where I can afford this place. I would hate to stop in for a carrot and end up paying a ton. Needless to say I did get a good deal on probiotics once. You can get the same things at sprouts or Costco. They do not compost or donate their older produces. We see where all the food waste is going. It's stores like Whole Foods and possibly others. If you want to have money for a house, car or anything steer clear and use Walmart. Hate to say it, but this company is worse than Walmart and that is saying a great deal.

Appalled
April 3, 2023

I went Whole Foods on the upper East side of Manhattan, I asked where their Passover section was only to be told they have nothing. Customer Service handed me a pamphlet and said I can order online. Really. Passover over is in two days, do you think I can order one or two desserts on line. The Upper East side has many Jewish people and it is appalling to see that Whole Foods does not care about their Jewish clientele

It's not for me.
October 28, 2023

I've been to the store a few times. To be fair; I really don't like shopping in any kind of stores. I thought the food was high cost during a time of current price gouging. It makes me suspicious. I didn't like the selection but I'm use to regular stores. I really don't belong in a store where people are still wearing mask. I looked at the steam table; no thank you. I looked at the package meals; no thank you. I looked at the frozen dinners; no thank you. I walked up and down every isle; mostly, no thank you. I did buy their lemonade sweetened with sativa. I didn't notice it was sweetened with sativa. Got it home and it's the most awful lemonade that o have EVER tasted. Who drinks that? OMG, it's so bad. I got an Amy's dinner. 8.00 for almost nothing. I got some Munster cheese. I didn't notice how much. I got some oatmeal cookies. Not too pricey but nothing special. So; in summary, I don't get it. I probably won't go back. I can't figure out why I would. I like Trader Joe's. I don't go there much either. The regular store or for some things ALDIs is fine and with food this expensive I really couldn't afford to pay for Whole Foods. I put them in the category of Target. Junk, pricey, low selection and not for me. I'm sure it's great for others. Thing is; I don't get it.

They hate on Muslims
February 17, 2023

If you want to be harassed every time you go to the Dublin Ohio store by associate and managers than this store is for you, but be warned you will be treated like a third rate citizen there, they don't want you there unless you look and act rich, some of the workers are on drugs or alcohol and will record you with their phones while you're shopping, they make you feel very uncomfortable stay away from the store in Dublin Ohio!

Stew beef
May 11, 2023

Specifically went to Whole Foods to buy stew beef because I thought their meat was better than other food chains. Brought it home. Horrible, could not chew it even!

Whole Foods dark chocolate almonds are one of those things you crave every single week! I haven't stopped thinking about them since I moved 3 hours away from Whole Foods! Their other products are great as well, just a little more pricey for the organic/gluten free items... but that's anywhere you go!

Excellent products, especially their dark chocolate choices! Very fast delivery! The products are always delivered undamaged, well packed and in highest quality. The taste is delicious and unique. I like eating healthy products for such a reasonable price. I highly recommend this store!

Top-notch!
September 11, 2018

Top-notch customer service. The products are a bit overpriced but, for instance, you are sure that you pay for fresh, not genetically modified and organic vegetables. To my mind, it is better to buy less food but of the highest quality.

Going downhill
August 29, 2022

The refuse to put olive oil on the salad buffet, but their junk salad dressings are fine. Olive oil is one of the healthiest foods you eat, but noooo...
The customer service at whole foods littleton is pathetic. The meat counter has less to choose from and prices are ever higher. The coffee bar is gone. McDonald's serves better quality and healthier food than the hot food bar. As soon as I generally find something I like, they move it or discontinue it.

I used to do all my shopping at whole foods. Now I am done with them and hope they go out of

Extremely satisfied every time I walk out of Whole Foods. My boyfriend jokes and calls it "whole wallet", which I have to agree, it is a bit spendy. However, I believe you pay for quality and their foods are definitely high quality. I mainly buy essential oils and beauty products, along with deli treats. There is always someone in the beauty isle willing to help me and many have given me really good ideas about creating my own beauty products. Really pleased with their service and products.

Although WFM is highly regarded as "Whole Paycheck", is is needed to understand that it provides people a wide range of qualified organic products. The company sources their food items from trusted suppliers.

Today Wednesday, 05 January I visited the Whole Foods market in Chicago at Grand and Fairbanks. The young lady behind the deli counter was so rude, crude, without any social graces, and lacked any form of social breeding.
This young lady never greeted me with a smile, or a hello nor did she say thank you at the end of my purchases.
I was greeted with "What do you want", "What else do you want". Her last response was "And".
Obviously AmazonWhole Foods does not teach Etiquette classes to it's team members. After leaving the counter I felt so violated and the lack of disrespect that was shown made me decide never to visit the Grand and Fairbanks location again.

Seafood Department
November 13, 2022

I wanted to write a review about the Seafood Department at Whole Foods. Living in Illinois (shop at Kildeer store) it is very difficult to purchase good quality fish and seafood from grocery stores. I have for several years tried several competing stores but always end up back at Whole Foods. My experience at other grocery stores has been smelly fish that they tout as fresh. I return it. I have Never had an issue with any of the fish and seafood I have purchased at Whole Foods. And the employees are very helpful. They have multiple ideas on preparation and what to choose. The pricing is higher but it is worth it for the quality and service.

This is the third time I have shopped and come home and am missing items I was charged for? Where do they go? Are they just not bagged? Left there. I bought 4 bananas, 3 came home. I bought 6 yogurts, 5 came home. Watch your groceries being packed.
