“Whole Foods Market”

Whole Foods Market is my preferred grocery store for its commitment to quality, sustainability, and variety. The store offers a wide selection of organic and locally sourced products, including fresh produce, artisanal cheeses, and gourmet prepared foods. While prices can be higher than conventional supermarkets, I appreciate the transparency and integrity of Whole Foods' sourcing practices.

“Giving Up on Whole Foods”

Whole Foods in DC. Trying to force everyone to use self-checkout which my wife and I have tried and hate. Only one live cashier. We just had 35 min wait to checkout with only two people ahead of us! We used to do 95% of our shopping at WF at about $200 a trip. Now, we do about 5% there, if that much. No longer willing to pay extra high prices for extra poor service. Having only one cashier is poor business.

I placed an order for a cake online, as I was told to do when I called, and it feeds through Amazon. We live 45 minutes away and we made it into town to pick up the cake, notified them we were on our way 15 minutes ahead. I then received a notification the order was delayed. Fine. We get there and get a message order was ready. Went inside to pick it up only to learn the order was cancelled and should not have been accepted in the first place. Thanks a lot Whole Foods for screwing up our birthday celebration with 20 guests.

Yes,
I was standing next to shelves choosing goods, bat suddenly one young employee said to me:"Go out from here, there is a hand truck will come soon." Honestly, I was shocked. I never ever had this before... in any store. I watched the spot and yes, less then a minute a hand truck was passing by. I do not like this. I left, did not buy anything. Bad store ethic

I went on December 23th and it's a shadow of what it used to be.I delivered for them 2006-14 for 8 years and after sometimes I went back because I was nearby and really hit me...their prices are insane and quality to the floor.I buy some baked goods and really bad quality...the food bar looks like few dogs fought over it.good bye whole foods never more.

TONIGHT, WEDNESDAY, MARCH 20,2024, A BAG OF TORTILLA CHIPS COSTS OVER $8 AT WHOLE FOODS IN BRENTWOOD (******* SAN VICENTE BLVD., LOS ANGELES, CA *******). OUTRAGEOUS. I DROVE RIGHT TO THE TARGET STORE IN WESTWOOD AND BOUGHT A BAG OF TORTILLA CHIPS FOR $3 AND CHANGE.

MOREOVER, WHOLE FOODS BRENTWOOD HAS MANY RIDICULOUS "LOW PRICE" TAGS IN THE CHIPS AND CRACKER SECTIONS WITH EXORBITANT PRICES! A JOKE!

ON TUESDAY, 3/12/2024, I FOUND IT DISAPPOINTING AND INEXPLICABLE THAT A YOUNG FEMALE EMPLOYEE AT WHOLE FOODS BRENTWOOD (******* SAN VICENTE BLVD., LOS ANGELES, CA *******) SHUT DOWN THE GLASS BAKERY CABINET AT 9PM, DUMPING PERFECTLY GOOD MUFFINS, BAGELS AND OTHER BAKERY ITEMS INTO A LARGE TRASH BAG FOR A FOOD BANK. WHAT?! I ASKED A STORE FRONT-END MANAGER, WHO SAID A REGIONAL OFFICE DEMANDS THIS. WHAT ABOUT WHOLE FOODS BRENTWOOD SELLING BAKERY FOOD TO PAYING CUSTOMERS UNTIL THE STORE CLOSES AT 10PM?! NOW THERE'S A GOOD, SENSIBLE CONCEPT, RIGHT?!

ON SATURDAY, 3/9/2024 AT WHOLE FOODS BRENTWOOD, THERE WERE NO SANDWICH ROLLS OR BREAD OR SINGLE MUFFINS IN THE GLASS BAKERY CABINET, AND CUSTOMERS ARE NOW PREVENTED FROM BUYING SINGLE SANDWICH BREAD ROLLS IN THE PREPARED FOOD SECTION. WHY?! I WANTED TO BUY, BUT THE STORE WOULDN'T LET ME? WHY?!

SUDDENLY TERRIBLE INDIVIDUAL BAKERY SELECTIONS IN WHOLE FOODS AT ******* SAN VICENTE BLVD., LOS ANGELES, CA *******. THE STORE WILL LOSE BUSINESS.

I used to be able to buy good-size individual blueberry or other popular muffins at Whole Foods in Brentwood. Now there are a few, small, pre-packaged Vegan muffins that are half the size of the muffins that Whole Foods Brentwood used to carry for the same $2.75 price. It is NOT right for Whole Foods to sell smaller, inferior muffins for the same price as the previous larger, superior muffins. Either offer the larger, better muffins at Whole Foods Brentwood or lower the cost of the smaller Vegan muffins. If not, Whole Foods Brentwood WILL LOSE BUSINESS.

Plus, there are often barking, potentially dangerous attack dogs at Whole Foods Brentwood because management does nothing to stop it.

I bought organic crisps apple at $1.99 prime price
The 1st time they charged me for honey crisps apple at $3.99 and said I made the mistake at the self checking. I bought the same apple and the same problem happened. They never apologized and said it is because it says pink lady on the apple tag.
After 3 weeks the prime label still says crisps apple and not pink lady and today when my prime membership did not show on my receipt they told me they took 1$ off my bill but they do not know why.if you look at the numbers nothing adds up…. But nowhere my apple are $1.99
I asked for explanation and was told "take care""good bye……
Very rude and unprofessional

WHOLE FOODS CORPORATE,

PLEASE REMOVE ALL THE HIGH-TECH HAND PALM READERS FROM YOUR PAYMENT CHECK-OUT STATIONS. SCANNING THE PALMS OF CUSTOMERS' HANDS IS HIDEOUSLY INVASIVE AND FRIGHTENINGLY DANGEROUS, BUT WHOLE FOODS CORPORATE WILL NEVER PUBLICLY ADMIT THAT.

ALSO BAD IS WHOLE FOODS BANNING CASH PAYMENTS AT THEIR SELF-CHECKOUT. WHAT'S THE PLAN WHEN AN EARTHQUAKE OR NUCLEAR ATTACK DISMANTLES THE U.S. ELECTRICAL POWER GRID? NO MORE ELECTRICITY, NO CASH ACCEPTED? HELLO?! CASH WILL BE THE ONLY FORM OF PAYMENT WITH NO ELECTRICITY! WHOLE FOODS WANTS NOTHING TO DO WITH THAT CONCEPT. HORRIBLE.

I ALSO CORRECTLY PREDICTED THAT ONE OR MORE ROBOTS WILL ATTACK HUMANS -- WHICH RECENTLY HAPPENED AT A TESLA FACTORY DESPITE SEEMINGLY INNOCUOUS, ENTERTAINING VIDEOS OF ROBOTS DANCING TO MUSIC. WAKE UP, PEOPLE! WAKE UP!

Whole Foods Corporate,

Management will NOT enforce Whole Foods' NO DOGS policy in the Brentwood store at ******* San Vicente Blvd.Los Angeles, CA *******. Although I have had dogs as pets since 1993, I just saw a Pit Bull inside Whole Foods Brentwood and felt scared near it as a put Bull is often categorized as an attack dog. The Pit Bull's male owner was rude to me, and two male Whole Foods managers refused to enforce the store's No Dogs policy or explain why when I asked them. A manager should have politely told the customer, "I'm sorry, sir, but dogs aren't allowed in the store." BUT WHOLE FOODS STORE MANAGEMENT REFUSED TO DO ANYTHING. WHY DOES WHOLE FOODS BRENTWOOD HAVE A NO DOGS SIGN IF IT IS NOT ENFORCED BY STORE MANAGEMENT?

DON'T YOU KNOW OR CARE THAT YOU CAN'T PUT LIQUID IN CARDBOARD BOXES? CARDBOARD DISINTEGRATES FROM MOISTURE. SO WHY IN THE WORLD HAVE YOU REMOVED THE GREAT BLACK PLASTIC CONTAINERS WITH THE CLEAR TOPS FROM THE SALAD BAR AND HOT BAR? YOU CAN'T LOGICALLY PUT SALAD DRESSING AND HOT MACARONI & CHEESE IN CARDBOARD BOXES! UNLESS THE FOOD IS CONSUMED ALMOST IMMEDIATELY, THE CARDBOARD BOXES START DISINTEGRATING, LOSE THEIR SHAPE, AND YOU CAN'T CLOSE THE BOXES ANYMORE! YOUR CARDBOARD PIZZA SLICE BOXES ARE NOTORIOUS FOR NOT CLOSING PROPERLY, CAUSING THE PIZZA TO FALL ONTO THE GROUND! IT HAS HAPPENED TO ME. DON'T YOU GET THAT LOGIC OR DO YOU JUST NOT CARE?!

OH, AND TRY CARRYING YOUR PAPER GROCERY BAGS IN THE RAIN! THEY DISINTEGRATE, CAUSING ALL THE GROCERIES TO FALL ON THE GROUND! RIDICULOUS! OFFER PAPER & PLASTIC BAGS!

KEEP "GOING GREEN" STRAIGHT OUT OF BUSINESS, AND RIGHTFULLY SO!

And why do you only place teens and early 20s-age employees as cashiers while so-called older employees are put in the Whole Body section where they supposedly don't interact as often with customers?

I have ordered Thanksgiving meal from Whole Foods for several years. The turkeys can be on the low end of the weight range, but within it. This year I othered a turkey for four people at the cost of $59.99 and the range was supposed to be 8-10 pounds. The turkey I received was 7.5 pounds, which is not within the 2 pound range! I notified customer services and they said there is a three pound range, 7-10 pounds, which is ridiculous! We are all talking about a meal for four people. I plan to order Thanksgiving from some where else in the future. What a dissatisfactory resolution, such a disappointment.

This market is a terrible place. I made the mistake of working here at coffee bar and was sexually assaulted and harassed over three times. The rapists are the men that work at Kora Sushi. They play incredibly racist sexually violent degrading music and they threatened me verbally multiple times. Management said that I had no right to be devasted by this and despite the sexual assaults they said that I had to continue to serve them. I am taking this to court. Stay away from this place the men are predators.

Tip for consumers:
I called the police three times. I was not passive about the fact that I didn't consent to sexually engage with these men.

My jaw ended up on the floor when I got to the checkout. It was $17.27! Yes- you read that right. I am resuming my boycott at Whole Foods Market effective today.

I've been shopping at WFM for decades and have always been satisfied with their products. Recently, I purchased their brand of organic outdoor access eggs. Boy, was I disappointed. The yolks were pale and watery and the eggs were nearly tasteless. I wonder if the hens are fed only a poor quality grain instead of produce and insects. I'll never purchase WFM eggs again. Of course, now that WFM is owned by Amazon, maybe one shouldn't expect quality.

I went Whole Foods on the upper East side of Manhattan, I asked where their Passover section was only to be told they have nothing. Customer Service handed me a pamphlet and said I can order online. Really. Passover over is in two days, do you think I can order one or two desserts on line. The Upper East side has many Jewish people and it is appalling to see that Whole Foods does not care about their Jewish clientele

If you want to be harassed every time you go to the Dublin Ohio store by associate and managers than this store is for you, but be warned you will be treated like a third rate citizen there, they don't want you there unless you look and act rich, some of the workers are on drugs or alcohol and will record you with their phones while you're shopping, they make you feel very uncomfortable stay away from the store in Dublin Ohio!

Be aware of your surroundings, and don’t trust the workers

I'm all for organic, but the food still has to be edible. I stopped counting worms in the cauliflower at 5...possibly 6. The entire cauliflower was moving! Additionally, it had black mold spots all over one of the sides. Similarly, the cilantro had multiple black and slimy stems. The produce was just awful and unusable.

I've been to the store a few times. To be fair; I really don't like shopping in any kind of stores. I thought the food was high cost during a time of current price gouging. It makes me suspicious. I didn't like the selection but I'm use to regular stores. I really don't belong in a store where people are still wearing mask. I looked at the steam table; no thank you. I looked at the package meals; no thank you. I looked at the frozen dinners; no thank you. I walked up and down every isle; mostly, no thank you. I did buy their lemonade sweetened with sativa. I didn't notice it was sweetened with sativa. Got it home and it's the most awful lemonade that o have EVER tasted. Who drinks that? OMG, it's so bad. I got an Amy's dinner. 8.00 for almost nothing. I got some Munster cheese. I didn't notice how much. I got some oatmeal cookies. Not too pricey but nothing special. So; in summary, I don't get it. I probably won't go back. I can't figure out why I would. I like Trader Joe's. I don't go there much either. The regular store or for some things ALDIs is fine and with food this expensive I really couldn't afford to pay for Whole Foods. I put them in the category of Target. Junk, pricey, low selection and not for me. I'm sure it's great for others. Thing is; I don't get it.

Tip for consumers:
Not really. This is getting annoying
