For the price you have to pay its not worth it. You barely get leads no matter how much information you put ob your profile. The leads you do get don't even respond back to you. They lock you into a 12 month subscription and threaten to call collectors when you ask them to cancel. I expressed my concern of not getting leads and they told me to post more pictures on my profile, which is what I been doing this whole time. And the apps are terrible. Don't waste your money

Wedding Wire is a cash grab at it's worst. Over the past 2 years, our venue has spent over $30,000 and had declining lead quality, inconsistent notifications and customer service is almost nil.
They changed their model in December 2021 to be more like Google and started charging $32 per lead automatically. They racked up over $4000 in leads that 100% were not quality and were a complete waste of our time.
When I brought up the issues, they refused to give refunds, credits or to pause my account.
If you are a wedding vendor, stay away. Wedding Wire is a waste of money in 2022. They will take your money, not care about the quality of their service, and then tell you that you are out of luck.

Started service without reading reviews, from the first day fake leads, then wedding wire flagged spam leads. Maybe 2/3 real leads out of 63 fake leads for a party bud service. You're probably asking how do you know it's a fake lead? Well I've been in my business for over 10 years and when a customer contact me through a form or through our social media regarding questions about my services or packages and when I promptly respond to them, I always get a response back whether they're interested or not, that was the first indication these were fake leads, I dealt with companies that took money for for lead generation and have employees call acting like a potential customer. One of their own employees admitted customers get fake leads. Contact me to see if we can collaborate and end the plague to small business.
WeddingWire removed my feedback about an antimask/antivax photographer who could not enter my venue due to our City's mask and vaccine requirements. Apparently they tolerate health and safety violations of their vendors.

From Bangalore... this is the worst platform I need to say people who r working here don't have manners to speak to others... as per as my knowledge and feedback from other makeup artist... wedding wire don't provide any genuine clients to you so don't invest your hard earn money on this plat form... they r fake. They don't provide you any leads... and arrogent people who work in wedding wire... they even threaten you abuse you...

There are many glitches with their wedding website creation tools that make it very frustrating to use. Simple issues like adding registries and accommodations that should take 2-3 minutes have taken me over 20+ minutes to figure out and it hasn't been fun. I also noticed that there is a difference between what the website actually looks like to viewers vs. what the editing version looks like which was also frustrating.

I have a Salon and I partnered with The WeddingWire and the Knot. This partnership led to a 12 month contract that sucks you dry for your money, without any reservations of weddings. Every lead that I have received seems fake! I even received a lead from my very own client, who later told me in person that she never sent one. I gave them 7 months until I reached out to my rep to ask for a refund and to be released from my contract. Within this time, I did not book any weddings! Also, I didn't even reserve any bridal trials! Nor did I hear back from many of the leads after emailing all of them. The rep expressed that they couldn't help with the refund and basically expressed that I am stuck in this contract. What a waste of money! I will never do business with them again! Especially, since they didn't even offer us something…. Truly unfortunate!

You MUST read your contract very closely. Their contracts are for a year at a time. You MUST cancel ONLY within a 5 day period before your next contract starts. I closed by business and tried to cancel, but had to continue payments for the contract term. I asked them to remove me and not renew, and they said I had to contact them again in 3 months and within that 5 day time frame to cancel. In my opinion, they hope to continuously renew contracts and hold you to your contract whether you want to or not. I'm sooooo disappointed with this site and this sounds like a method to con the vendors who they count on tremendously for their services. Here is what Ashley told me after I said we closed the business in December:

I purchased a domain through Wedding Wire thinking I would use their website platform only to find it incredibly confusing and hard to use, especially for my guests. I went and found another platform and asked Wedding Wire to send me the credentials over in order to forward the website domain onto another platform. I've asked them twice now and they said that they refuse to give it to me.
I spoke with the domain hosting site that Wedding Wire uses, EuroDSN, and they said that because my actual name isn't attached, legally they can't release it to me.
I paid $24.00 for it and it is rightfully mine. I also spent hundreds of dollars on creating wedding invitations with MY website domain and can't send them out now until this is resolved. I am extremely upset and would just like my domain credentials immediately. It's holding up my wedding planning and it's completely unethical.
I wish I would of seen these reviews. Having my attorney deal with these scammers. They think they can scam vendors with fake leads, and "lock us in a 12 month commitment " of fake leads. My account manager who wanted to argue she's been with the company for 13 years admitted the company "sends fake leads and tries their best to combat it" how is the company itself sending fake leads and combatting it?! The tried to scam the wrong person, 1 week into starting the service I noticed the fake leads and emailed them I wanted to cancel.

This is wild. I had the EXACT same experience with wedding wire as the most recent reviewer from 7 days ago. I posted a negative review and was told the service provider disputed it (saying that I was not their customer), and that they would investigate with service provider and have a response in 2 days. I immediately offered to share email correspondence and contracts proving that I was indeed their customer
2 weeks later, and 8 emails later, absolutely no response from wedding wire. Not even to acknowledge any one of my 8 emails I've sent
They clearly are offering to service providers a shielding from any negative reviews. This is unprofessional, immoral and a very big disservice to consumers
For Wedding Wire to conspire with service providers to deceive and mislead consumers as to the quality of the service providers is jaw dropping. Reviews are built on trust. Solely on trust. Wedding Wire has polluted that, which is a surprising and huge disappointment

We are so excited to be getting married Sunday 10/24/21 at the beautiful Aldie Mansion catered by Jeffrey A miller.
This site and company are horrible and unethical. A few years ago when I was actually running a wedding videography business they hassled me into a contract to pay more for leads and I got almost NO LEADS. I ended the contract after a one horrible year. Three years have gone by (during that time all my customers were through my own website or word of mouth) and I am no longer doing Wedding Videos. I dont even like in the area I started my business in and I have a full time job at corporation with no capacity to continue weddings. I asked them to take my site down and they said NO?!?! Because "your website is still active" it literally says NO LONGER BOOKING 2021 and beyond on the front page. They just want it to look like they have a lot of people to chose from even if some of them aren't even real and have no intention of responding. Like, cool be a graveyard for businesses for people to search through? It unethical.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. WeddingWire/ The Knot thinks of themself and themself only. Money and greed. They do not care about customer service, vendors, their brides, grooms etc. STAY AWAY. Do not fall for their tactics. I made a large mistake using them and it's honestly been terrible dealing with their team of uneducated people who are always conveniently "out of the office" Literally try any other marketing tactics except this one.

Hopefully they will go out of business for how they treat us. They sell you that you can market with them as a vendor, then change the rules as you go. They mislead you and lie and then avoid your phone calls. Then they try to steal clients by using your brand to send people to their site. Trust me, you will hate working with them. It will feel like magic for first 3 months, then turn into pure fraud and disappointment. Spend your money on independent marketing like Facebook etc. Don't use this company or let them use your brand name. You will regret it and wish you hadn't. I was a top salesman on their site until they played me and ignored the fact that COVID affected sales dramatically.

First of all, they got us to sign an annual contract promising a certain number of leads per month and we received a fraction of the leads they said we could anticipate. Any attempts to "help" us improve our portal were not helpful.
I then contacted them in June explicitly asking them to cancel our subscription. They responded, asking to meet with me instead to try to convince me not to cancel. I ignored them. They then let our contract auto-renew 08/31/2021. When I reached out to them AGAIN requesting to cancel the subscription and to refund the first month they billed me, they wrote (see attached), "In June when you requested to cancel, you were ineligible at that time and we cannot remove you from auto-renewing when you are ineligible. I will cancel your contract moving forward, however, a refund will not be issued as the services have already been rendered." There is NOTHING in their contract (see attached) about an eligibility period. I gave them written notice at least 5 days before the Billing Date. This is theft.

Wedding Pro is a nightmare. In short RUN. They claim "we do not offer any promises on performance of vendor advertisements" but yet they share numbers that are drastically exaggerated when trying to get you to sign up. I was told I'd receive 15-50 inquiries per month as a videographer in the Chicago region and that as my account developed better SEO over time, that number would increase. I am now 5 months into my 12 month contract and have received no inquiries for over 30 days. I am working on taking Wedding Pro to small claims court on grounds of false and misleading advertisement with intent to sell goods and or services.
Please stay as far away from this company as possible. You will regret ever doing business with them.

A big shout out to our wedding reception organizer, Kathy Baggett! With her expertise in planning events, I didn't have to worry about a thing! And to boot, the whole process was done with me being out of state! Since we were already recently married and just needed a reception with family members and friends, Kathy guided us, made suggestions and created an event that will be forever etched in everyone's memories. I literally just had to show up with my guests! The venue was beautiful (Verrado Golf Club), the food and desserts were fantastic, the DJ (Kevin - Fanning Flames) had everyone dancing, and the beverages were delicious! We all thank you from the bottom of our hearts, Kathy! We give you 1000 stars!
