Yes, you will be able to find information but it is so full of ads that it has become distracting and cumbersome to use. Because of all the ads, there is not a lot of content on a page. You have to keep moving to the next page. It also seems like the articles have gotten shorter. They have a pop up box for a survey that is so annoying. If I mark no it freezes my screen. Sent an email but never got a response. I now go to other sites first.
Rhonda is a wonderful, compassionate and knowledgeable FNP. She always listens to you so she understands what course of action needs to be taken or what tests need to be completed. She is very knowledgeable about the medical world and works hard to continue increasing her knowledge. Her compassion is top notch. She makes you feel like you are the only patient she has and takes her time with you and answers all questions professionally and explains so the patient understands... not in medical jargon. I highly recommend Rhonda.
I find all things and information I searched for are mostly here in WebMD. Reliable! Especially when I am home alone with my sick kid and I cannot do anything but search on the Internet of what my baby is going through.
Noticed a number of people had trouble finding the app after downloading. I had the same problem but here's how to get it to work. Swipe down from the top of any screen to reveal the menu. Tap sync. Then go the the home page and select apps. Make sure you're on the Cloud.
I really like this website. I am a permanent reader of this site and they have the best healthcare articles and tips. You can get ideas on your diets. You can use them any time, I think getting tips is really a great idea we can improve our selves. Thanks for sharing different information’s.
In this age of Google... I really appreciate Web MD. Almost every question I google about medicine's side effects as well as symptoms. Web MD offers an answer. It feels good to know the information is available from a reputable source! Thank you Web MD!
This website is remarkably detailed, and contains far more information than one could possibly ever hope to get through. Of couse that doesn't mean that it is 100% accurate, but it certainly seems to be a notch above most other health websites out there. Highly recommended. Of course you should seek advice from your doctor too.
Everytime I input symptoms on this site, it will inevitablely show one some sort of cancer or terminal illness. The site looks promising but it has never given me an answer just causes panic attack and anxiety.
In summary, it's just a waste of time.
Dr Celeste Atkinson from Dignity Health group has cancelled my appt three months in a row!, I have now waited over 90 days to see her!, Can't get med refills or anything due to her "not making it into the office"! I would not recommend her and even plan to find a doctor outside of Dignity Heath system. This is so unprofessional and not acceptable!
Articles are poorly written copies of more detailed blog found on the internet. This is a sham company using the guise of a medical affiliation to fraudulently induce visitors to purchase their 'highly recommended' medicines using links which pay WebMd a cut for each purchase.
For instance, this WebMd page pushes 'Abilify', a drug tied to more than 100 serious side effects including death, as if it were the best thing since buttered bread. WebMd promotes the drug and offers various links to purchase this deadly toxin. Once the links are clicked, WebMd collects a referral fee for each sale.

Shill sites like WebMd are not protected as their product and doctor reviews are absolutely fictitious. Attorneys familiar with RICO will eventually have a field day with corrupt organizations intentionally causing misinformation and potential deadly harm to society.
I have been trying for MONTHS to get them to update three of our surgeons' phone numbers and nothing has worked! You cannot get through to them on the phone and after leaving multiple messages, I have give up. Emails also have not worked. I feel bad for patients who use this site as they are given the incorrect phone number for these physicians and end up getting passed around until they get to the correct area!
I regret believing this site. The first time I reached this site is through Google. It looks reputable and I believe everything they write especially about Liver Cirrhosis. They claim that it's irreversible and suggest common treatment. But there is a cure. A proven cure that the disease can be cured and reversible. But again they belittle the cure in their article. Come on people. Don't trust WebMD. They are sponsored by big pharmacies, and certain doctors that will only treat you or make you sicker and make money. There's alternative to all your disease. Right diet and the use of herbs. Old generations can live up to 100 happily because of the righ lifestyle, diet and herbs. It's FREE.
This is wonderful websites which gives the general information. This company providing Online facilities for the purpose of buying and selling activities. Their products are with low price and high quality. If the purchased products are having any damage they are allow you to do exchange. If you want they will provide you some free samples also. First use this free samples and ordered to other product.
WebMD allows anonymous reviews of physicians. I am the business manager for a radiologist and saw a review on Vitals.com about this physician that was blatantly false and libelous. This unknown person accused the physician of skewing his reports to cover up surgeons' mistakes. To add insult to injury, Vitals.com published the same review TWICE and counted the bad rating twice. If the review that was posted was true, it would be grounds to take away his medical license! Vitals.com makes it virtually impossible to contact them; they never responded to my "contact us" form. I I finally talked to someone at WebMD (I did not know they owned Vitals.com) who said one can't address bad reviews if one has the "basic" profile page. Of course, you have to pay for a level up. This is blatant extortion. It is beyond me how they get away with this.
Wed MD used to be more informative. I now find it to be a source of common knowledge, the site mediocre home fixes. I find more "pop-ups" that side track you to spam world rtdicules! These "pop-ups " are very distracting and frustrating for people with reading issues, attention problems, or dementia. How can you take this seriously when promotes this?
People that have questions about specific topics; give the people what they ask for they can google the rest.
Not nearly as good as Mayo Clinic site.
Even with adblocker the webmd site looks a bit like yahoo news! The page keeps "refreshing" with new distractions. It can be difficult to track the actual content and read an article. Very unprofessional and doesn't inspire confidence in its credibility.
This site has always provided excellent information in an easy to browse format. If you are unable to get to a doctor right away, you can find potential home remedies and information that will assist you when you do visit the doctor. Love it.
I have looked up information on WebMD for years. I had ignored the advertising to this point, but am now aware that the website carries content by Similac. As a certified Lactation Consultant, it is unethical for me (or any staff in baby-friendly hospitals, or seeking baby-friendly status) to have anything to do with artificial formula companies and advertising! I will no longer refer to WebMD and will spread the word within the breastfeeding support community. Such a waste of information, shame on WebMD for caving in. It's like letting a tobacco company advertise on a heart health information site.
If you are looking for a knowledgeable, Honest, caring, patient doctor. It's Dr. Lee Gibstein! From the moment you enter his spotless office, you are greeted By Jenny! From that exact moment, you know you are in the right place. She is sweet like sugar. His staff, Michele, his office manager Monica, his nurse Tamara and there are more to name are amazing. Dr. Gibstein has done various procedures on me, he takes his time explains and always makes me feel comfortable and relaxed. I trust this man implicitly. Don't look further, go to Dr Lee Gibstein!
WebMD "speaks so a non medical person can understand. I love the pill id, I like to just scan hot topics and there are so many subjects of interest. I use it a lot for simple questions, God and the doctor are called on when needed and now there's WebMD>
Answer: Blanche, there is some good information about scoliosis on this website: http://www.medicinenet.com/scoliosis/article.htm Of course there are other sites but, this will give you answers to the questions you asked and, have good luck in your searching.
WebMD has a rating of 2.8 stars from 262 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. WebMD ranks 9th among Health Information sites.
