I have been trying to get a refund for over two months. They charged my credit card for a domain that has been transferred out. The credit card on file is expired. I am not sure how they managed to charge. Loads of international calls, and chats online, and still not resolved. The invoice amount as 113.97 USD but they charged 175.00, I am trying to get my 175.00 USD returned, but so far this is costing me over 500.00 USD to recover 175.00 USD, crazy.
I had the best experience working with Megan H in Sales, as she explained getting started to use the web service. The slide presentation clearly defined what would be available to us and the features and options. It was an easy decision to proceed with the purchase and then had a wonderful experience speaking to Jordan H in Web Consulting to further define what we wanted for our site. We are so looking forward to the next steps of getting the website up and running for our business. This is clearly a first class organization.
Staff is very professional and easy to work with, looking forward to great results. The information collected for the website was done without rushing me. I felt the staff interest in collecting my ideas and information as being paramount in providing a perfectly suited website design for Millman Systems. We like the fact that web.com wants their customers to do well.
I was blown away. The person I spoke with not only discussed details about my website that I would never have thought of on my own. She also wanted to know my business inside and out so we could portray who we are and what we represent to the visitors on the site. She walked me through multiple marketing strategies and ideas that will help our business grow. She was very professional and patient through the whole process. I had no idea customer service like this still existed. I was blown away!
And got disconnected and spent over an hour via numerous phone #'s and holds trying to reconnect; only to find out they could not find my new account. Waiting for a marketing specialist to call. Was told it takes 24 hrs. For the account to become activated. So needless to say my first impression and experience were less than positive. :(
Erin was quite patient, and walked me through the various questions. She explained the process and clarified some points that were missing from the initial conversations I had had. I sensed a desire to up-sell me to include Facebook, but I declined based on the price tag; small consulting firms just cannot afford the money. Overall, good experience.
I have had a really hard time getting my store set up. I have asked several times for assistance, but my online chat person sends me to the links on the help page. My website is published and nothing seems correct
Have been locked out of registered domains for months. Opened cases with support, whose only solution to re-allow access was to send a verification e-mail... to the domains which cannot be accessed!
User friendly with many great features. Keep it simple, make it elegant, create drama. Whatever your preference, web.com provides the tools, and if you choose not to be the one to create the website/blog, they have web designers. Checkout the great packages available. Yup! I'm just a customer.
Verification code emails did not come for a week. After multiple support cases I am in now. This is not acceptable because we need to update DNS settings sometimes and can not wait for days.

I am really disappointed in Web.com. There are many errors in the website builder software. For example, it will not allow me to update the colors in a color palate. Also, I have made selections on the Blog settings but it does not recognize the new selections--it keeps reverting back to the old settings. Also, it refuses to allow the very simple Title HTML tag that I am trying to add. I used to be an HTML programmer and want to put tiny little tags on my pages. The HTML editor does not recognize the Title tag! I would like to get out of the website builder and have more control over my website. Web.com has totally closed off any real customization so I'm stuck with a website that looks like it was built from a template! I'll probably dump the website and re-do it on a hosting company that let's me build it the way I want it to look. There is a lot more that is wrong with Web.com, but these are the primary points.
My experience with Web.com has been a complete disaster. When they rebuilt my website to make it HTTPS, it was riddled with errors. Images were incorrectly sized, the fonts were inconsistent, and several key elements on the site went missing altogether. To make matters worse, I lost valuable backlinks, which significantly hurt my site's performance. Their web development work was unprofessional and left my website in a worse state than before.
On top of that, their SEO services were a total failure. After being promised results in 90-120 days, I saw no improvement in my website's performance despite spending countless hours making the site presentable and following their advice. When I requested a refund for their failure to deliver, I was given conflicting information about their cancellation policy. At first, I was told I had 3-7 days to refund prorated amount, but later they said they cannot refund me anything! This is outright fraud and misrepresentation—how can you expect results in 120 days but give customers only 3 days to cancel?
Web.com has refused to refund me for the services that never worked. Their dishonest business practices and poor service have been a huge waste of time and money. I strongly recommend staying far away from this company.

They are group of scammers! I purchase domain and email but after I paid they asked me to pay more to get an email and domain active (even though I paid already for them). I can not remove my payment and customer agent said they even can not pause or delete my account. The only option they offer to disabled my subscription but it's a lie. They're keeping charge me without even I use this website.
Megan is amazing at her job she is patient talented and so nice I feel like it was fate that brought me to your company and such an awesome site manager I cannot wait to get this off the ground give that girl a raise she deserves it

There were a lot of unexpected problems that came up during the process of building my website. Some help is very helpful and some is not knowledgeable enough. I'm in Australia and the phone assistance service doesn't work for me.
My direct contact with Julie concerned the development of a new business website. From the beginning of the call I detected a high degree of patience and care in seeing to the changes to the site. The process, though protracted never tired Julie out. She saw to it that every detail was meticulously executed. She was excellent in eliciting vital information from me which would greatly improve site content. I am truly grateful to Julie for her professionalism, energy and concern.
Answer: We are located in Australia and trying to make contact is virtually impossible. They don't respond to emails, Calling them is an expensive international phone call, The time zone is completely different so I had to call at some ungodly hour of the morning, they are not friendly and find dealing with customers a big pain. They offer no real value and have no idea of what customer service is.
