I purchased Weathertech window guards for my 2020 f150. It's a terrible design. They were easy to install but they are too long and gouged the rubber trim where it meets the metal piece they give you to set it on which also looks terrible. Now there is a cut in the rubber trim. I modified them so they will fit but not sure if they will stay in place. I should have gone with the other company that makes these. Not happy at all Weathertech. I was a fan but not anymore.
Wasted hours trying to make an order. First time my web order was "lost". Then on the second try the order was refused because the zip code didn't match what was on file. Really long wait on the phone, well over 30 minutes each time. Then inept help for all my time and effort. I liked the produce for my previous car, but will find something else that with a company with compassionate customer service. BTW, those with great customer service typically have produces and web sites that don't generate much need for customer service.
Purchased Weather Tech Pet Barrier to keep large dogs from jumping into front seat possibly causing accident. The thumbnuts holding the horizontal bars to the frame did not do that, so with the dogs' weight against them they slipped down and the dogs could get through. Not one but two (!) customer service representatives acknowledged this was a known defect and the company did not yet have a solution. So I ended up on a list, if you can believe it, to get a replacement part when the company figures out what to do, and was sent pictures of 2 DIY fixes. I wrote the CEO two weeks ago expressing my concern that the company would knowingly sell a defective product that, if it failed, could cause loss of life and have had no response.
Exact quote from second rep: "unfortunately, the only other thing we can recommend is making sure the screw is firmly in the teardrop area of the black bar, and using zip ties can help as well." He went on to say "[w]e are still waiting for a new part that is going to help with the issue, but we haven't gotten information as to when it will be available... if you want to keep the barrier, I ca add you to the list and send the new part when it is available."
This, from a company that proclaims on its website "our customers are our number one priority" and "we will do whatever we can to make sure our customers are happy for a lifetime."
Right.
They kept $20 on returned floormats that did not fit full coverage. When I questioned it, they exclaimed that per the "return policy" they keep shipping and taxes. Very unethical when they had every opportunity to tell me that in the numerous emails we sent back and forth before I returned them.
I ordered front and rear window deflectors for my 2019 jeep wrangler. The back fit fine. The front would not stay in the channel. We took i the jeep and the deflectors back to the dealership and the
Dealership said it was installed right.
I called the customer service again they were rude.
My husband called them again they blamed it on the dealership. They have customer service at weather tech. We sent the product back.
I contacted weathertech customer service regarding a broken cup phone that we purchased before Christmas. The item didn't last long before it cracked in numerous spots. Unfortunately, i couldn't locate the receipt and customer service dismissed me quickly and extremely rude. Never doing business with this company again.
I ordered mud flaps on the phone 3/30/21 early am. I was told my order would ship that afternoon. Come to find out it takes 24-72 to ship. I hate a liars. No more Weathertech products for me
I buy many new vehicles (roughly once every year and a half.) I purchase WeatherTech floor liners for ALL of my vehicles. Now, while they do have the absolute BEST product on the market when it comes to protecting the floor of your vehicle, they have the absolute WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my 36 years on this planet. Their website states that you have 30 minutes to make changes to any order, or your order is final. What company is so audacious to put that on their website!? You people sell overpriced floormats, not heaven! Get over yourselves. They offer ZERO loyalty programs or discounts for repeat customers. They even fought me on the free shipping for multiple items in one order. They talk to you like they're your Dad letting you get away with whatever it is "just this one time." I'm a paying CUSTOMER! Who talks to people like that. Now, I know some of you may think I'm a "Karen", but I have in fact been a customer service representative, and been on the other end of those calls. The way they act, and their company policies are far from acceptable. The sad part is it's not just one person having a bad day, this is literally ANY representative you interact with. Don't believe me? Try it. Make up a simple problem, call them and be polite, see how you are treated. Let me know how it goes. I am going to look high and low for another company to do business with from now on. They can't be the only one making decent floor liners. For $300 a set I'll start cutting them myself. I wouldn't mind paying the fee if they at least acted grateful for my patronage. PLEASE look elsewhere. These people make a great product, but they need to be taught a lesson.
Brought the 14 inches dog elevated bowls, extremely satisfy. Extremely good quality and very strongly made and recommend this product to all big dogs owner. And delivery of product was very well wrapped.
We recently purchased our 3rd set of floor liners, this one for our new truck. I ordered for the wrong cab, ordered double cab instead of crew cab. One email and I was sent a pre paid shipping label to return the wrong mat and as soon as it was received they shipped the replacement one that fits perfectly! Amazing customer service! Love the products! Thanks Weather Tech
I just bought a brand new tacoma and installed weathertech visors. The rears are fine but the fronts fit so tight that they damaged my window trim. I tried to trim it but no luck. I ended up chucking them and am left with damaged window trim. This is specifically for a 2021 tacoma so I can't speak for other vehicles but for anyone with a tacoma, DO NOT BUY THESE. You will damage your window trim
I bought the cut to fit mats and they dont reach the sides. How can I do a review in 100 letters? Wtf
Horrible product. Drivers mat fit fine, passenger side not even close. Stay away. Cheap products. Offered to worship a replacement set but I decided not to continue with this company
Purchased the cargo liner and it not even close to fitting. Paid $140 with shipping and I received crap
Weather tech does provide well fitted floor liners customized to your car...
They are not reinforced to prevent curling and this will happen, severely. If you are willing to spend the money for the product you care enough to be embarrassed by the look and performance over time. The advice from customer service is to remove the mats and invert them on a warm surface to undo the curling. For this price point curling is unacceptable. I have tried everything over two years... I will never purchase this poorly designed product ever again. Great marketing poor product. I suggest they spend the marketing budget in product improvements.
My mats are not as snug and tight like I thought it would be like they are shown on TV an I didnot get a cup holder or at least some kind of trail size bottle to clean my mats for the money that you pay or at least a email on how did you like the product or 20% off your next purchase or something!
I really feel bad putting this out for the whole world to see - but I'm an honest person - and I really screwed Up! I have a 2004 Ford Explorer that after 17 years (just over 100,000 miles) still looks new and I wanted to take care of it the best way I could (it is under a shelter - covered by a very well made padded car cover)... so I bought Weathertech Seat covers, floor mats and their Cargo mat. All of this stuff on TV looks fantastic. And when they tell you it is "laser measured - for correct fit", etc. and it really sounds like something great... WRONG! It is some really cheap crap - the seat covers don't half fit (even after they ask you for exact make - model - year, etc)... the floor mats "roll up" like tacos after a few weeks (they will actually tell you how to turn them inside out to hopefully get back in shape) and the cargo mat is more of the same. "IF" they would use some material thick enough to actually hold its shape - they might actually be worth the purchase price, but I'm out around $600 and believe me - their "Made In America" product could have been much better made in China. It's really a shame for them to use the patriotism angle to lure folks in to buying their product... by the way - I'm a disabled American Veteran and patriotism is something real to me. I bought all of the above items at "TNT Exhaust center" in Reidsville, NC. They not only do exhaust but also sell 4WD / trailer / modification parts. I no longet have the receipt, but am sure that Joel and his wife (who run the business) will remember me as I am a regular customer.
We bought universal mats. Trim to fit. Our bad. We thought they were specified for a vehicle. Floor hooks don't line up. But mat is deep and rugged. Customer service was helpful in giving us solutions.
Floor mats start to lean over after a month or so, need to be stablized better to prevent them from leaning over!
Answer: Haha! Placed on hold with 165 callers ahead of me. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told I could try to call back tomorrow but they're really busy this time of year!
Answer: I have boughten a few things for Weathertech and I had a problem with a part that got broken. I called customer service and got right through and they solved my problem in just a few minutes. They were very nice and easy to deal with.
Answer: Any company is better. Mine are absolute junk. They are so cheap I'd be better off buying Walmart brand floor mats.
