I got very tired of the doom and gloom click bait on weather.com. I used to rely on for our rocky mt farm But no more. Tired of the drama, horrendous picture and vicarious trauma it promotes. Good bye forever
I'm looking for a map to show me hurricane rain predictions. I see a map on the main page. I click on it. I get a hurricane track, not rain prediction. WTF is running this site? It's been this way for YEARS. My gosh, serve your customers. Having the name weather.com can only take you so far. One more customer lost. (cha-ching)
IBM has such poor programming for the Weather Channel website. For my zip code *******, they show on their hourly forecast for Thursday 6:00 am a temperature of 30 degrees but on the daily forecast forecast for Thursday the projected low is 39 degrees. This contradiction happens often just my first complaint about it.
These idiots couldn't predict rain standing in a rain storm. They are almost always wrong. I hope someone isn't paying them to forecast the weather! They should give the money back. Horrible
As i am stating this review, we in South Jersey, are have torrential downpours. Weather.com indicates 0% precipitation. This is an example of hundreds of times when their predictions have been wrong. Wondering who is compiling their predictions. Blame is not on Mother Nature but incompetence of whoever is in charge.
I usually find the weather report helpful, especially with the wind report, but I am irritated that they have their little mascot guy sitting under an umbrella at the beach with a mask on! Oh, please!
Bulky interface, lousy user experience, SLOW loads (and I have business level cable internet), and irritating ads upon ads upon ads... I am permanently moving to one of the other weather apps/sites - can't handle weather.com anymore...
Public safety should be this sites top priority. This is a completely unreliable platform and needs to be fixed yesterday. If storm clouds are brewing, there's a good chance I will be left out of the loop because of it's crappy, tortoise slow connection. Please, get rid of the crummy memory sucking clickbait and stick to the weather! I could care less about three headed sharks off the coast of Zulu or the scary bridges of Swaziland. I can go to National Geographic for that. STICK TO THE WEATHER! And by the way, I prefer to read as opposed to watching 20 second video clips that take 6 minutes to load.
Weather.com has been posting ridiculously low temps for Puerto Vallarta since September. (lows in the 40's F when in actuality, lows were in the 60's) How many months will it take to correct this? Anyone there?
All the ads overload my computer. Everything takes forever to load, and freezes up my browser. Lots of videos I don't care about just to try to get to my forecast. Radar is useless, haven't been able to get it to work for 2 years.
The new weather.com is excruciating slow and full of ads that keep popping up and I know no way of getting rid of them. I want the old weather.com back. You have messed it up so bad I am planning on using another weather site.
You would think these people would have the absolute best website but quite the contrary. Slow, slow, slow! Every website I click on is quick but something about them brings my comp to a halt. If you're going to have the name The Weather Channel... step up your game please.
I could go out to the kitchen and get a sandwich while waiting for the pages to load. To get to the 10 day forecast requires a big time commitment. If I check another city out of curiosity it makes that city my home page. The dramatic headlines on the home page are ridiculous. The ads are awful and slow down he whole process. I hate the site.
The website is so overloaded with ads, that it has become so slow that it is unusable. Weatherbug, Accuweather, and Weather Underground are far superior. If Weather.com is under performing for you too, switch over to one of the three I mentioned. If enough people switch, maybe Weather.com will give up a little of the almighty buck and get back to serving its audience.
I simply want to see the 10-day forecast in my zip code Fahrenheit! Why is it such a mother-loving battle?! The website is 1990s-slow, overwhelmed by slow-to-load advertising. How is the site unable to interpret my IP address as a US address and default to Fahrenheit? Then I have to go through a snail-paced process to get th site to accept me as someone who wants to see my forecast in Fahrenheit. Seriously, the websites of most small-town newspapers are more intuitive and less buggy than weather.com.
There is too much advertising - it is a big distraction.
The 15-minute increments in the hourly forecast is an unnecessary waste of space. Now they offer it as an upgrade: their marketing people are jerks.
I work in construction, the masonry field, & we don't lay brick or stone in the rain.
Weather.com are the freaking Masters of forecasting 70 - 90% chance of rain, for days, then hours leading up to the day, & suddenly - you wake up; no rain; 15% chance of rain; 20 % two hours later.
Over & Over & Over.
I'm done. Weatger.com is The absolute worst weather site on the internet. They Suck. Put the weather ball down; retire your forecasters; don't invest in stock, bc you can't predict for s$#@, & have no future in it.
I understand weather systems are dynamic, but with their degree of failure, there is no excuse. It's just lazy, shoddy, blind luck, shot in the dark forecasting, & it's pitiful.
I'm a weather buff - like to keep on top of it for business and simple curiosity so I look several times a day. Weather. Comn has way too many ads and always the same one or two played over and over and over as you look at the videos. I have given up on this site. Truly annoying!
It used to be great to get on the weather.com website and get quick and current weather. I even used to enjoy the photo essays. But about a couple of months ago, things went bad, just like everyone else reports, it slowed to being pretty useless. It even locks up my computer occasionally and I have a fiber connection and run Win10, so not my hardware or connection. Time for a reset.
weather.com is so full of advertising and click bait that if I don't use an ad blocker my screens take forever to refresh. Initially, they only requested that I turn off my ad blocker, now I can't use the site unless I do so. I don't plan to give in to their desire to make my experience a poor one.
Answer: Won't get any better. They now force you to turn off your ad blocker or you can't use the site. Move on!
Answer: That's not a question.
