Everyone is right... I just wanted to make sure I toss another one in here...
And to be clear - It's not the ads that are ruining the site. It's the developer! There's ways to have advertising and moving parts to your website without it being a sloth. You'd thing that they could afford a more functional site.
The website continually crashes due to long running scripts and then it defaults to someplace I've never searched (Washington DC). I'm not sure that its not trying to hack into computers while its crashed.
Beyond believable - the advertisements that run constantly and repeatedly are horrible, but the amount of 'stuff that doesn't even work (picture slides, videos, etc.) is stunning for a site that should be the best. Hire someone with vision and intelligence to run the site, not the night-school programmers you apparently employ.
Your site is worthless. I have high speed internet with ATT and it still sucks to try to get informed. Also, the TV channel no longer gives true local on the 8's. That used to be my favorite part.

This website has evolved into the worst possible website/band width hog ever conceived. Phishing ads, click bait, slow loads. Its a shame because it used to be a reliable source of information. And they apparently don't care, because its just getting worse.
If the management of this web page is not able to resolve the problems so many customers are complaining about, they should just apologize to all of us and resign. Even for those of us who are willing to wait forever for the page to come up, many times the map never comes up or comes up gray with no weather, roads and locations showing! Very inept company. Hard to believe something like this could even exist.
At what point do you figure out that your primary function is longer achievable because you can't even get past the ads anymore. The page will jump around and direct you to ads, before you even get to see what you came for. The world and their ads are just filled with too much Greed and poor work in my opinion. Going elsewhere.
This week, the country is in for above average temperatures through November. Last month, the Southeast was going to be below average temperatures. Now there's the polar vortex where a portion of the country will be freezing.
Can you guys stop predicting the future when you cannot even get an entire week straight?
She looks like a stupid deer in car headlights. She can't read the information showing on my T. V. She has a shrill voice, and pushes her way into every person on air. What happened to Jim Cantore, he was the reason I watched the weather channel. He seems to be cut out on the coverage of hurricane Irma. Replacing him is a big mistake. He had a lot of followers. No more, weather channel. I watch fox for news now. Erika Navarro is an obvious suck up to those higher up the chain. She treats Jim C. Like dirt.
This site keeps changing but not for the better. The weather maps are constantly changing and they keep getting worse. We use to get world clouds and satellite maps. Not any more. It would be nice to have a weather site that would just tell me the high and low temp of the day, but they can not even do that.Or even the current rain fall. As weather reporters you suck!
The predictions featured on this weather app are consistently wrong. If you're trying to plan anything outdoors, you could look even 2 days ahead and the weather predicted there will not be what you actually get in 2 days. Whomever is uploading the information is either not a real meteorologist or a meteorologist who is a cousin to politicians; lying and overpaid to do a job terribly.
Watching current and future radar is a waste of time and ALWAYS opposite of the truth. I took a walk earlier this year and was caught in the worst storm of my life. I want to swim right now and the radar shows clear, but there's lightning overhead. Extraterrestrial aliens must be running this app to kill all of us.
So I no longer use it. Hasn't been very accurate recently anyway and the web app now has lots of bugs, particularly with maps. It's also painfully slow, and my browser puts up warnings about "web page slowing my browser" every time I tried weather.com. JUNK!
There are lots of other good weather apps out there, and I now use weathrbug.
Very bad app, takes forever to change to see radar vs daily forcast. I waited 5 minutes for the radar to come up, then it said nothing was there and it was pouring outside with a big line of thunderstorms with green and orange from another site. Web page is just as bad, you cant see the weather because it takes to long to load, to many advertisements. Weather.com you need to upgrade if your going to be the biggest weather station out there... Sheila Townsend Topeka, KS
Now it's not even opening in Firefox. Won't store a location in Chrome without "signing up." Slower than ever, as all the B. S. loads up (check it out in the lower left corner.) PAINFULLY SLOW now. Ridiculous ads before the videos ("Hi I'm Dacey from Dove" again & again & again). Some of the ads are 30 seconds and then the video is only 10 seconds. I go there for the Radar, anyone know a better site?
Frustrated that weather.com no longer remembers my Celsius selection for temps, I began looking further down the page. Try pulling up the monthly forecast for Philadelphia, select Celsius AGAIN and at the foot of the page you'll get a chart telling you that the average high temp. In July is 104 CELSIUS. How come any of us are still here?
Site is infested with ads. Even with a gigabit internet connection, site loads slowly, radar is worse than ever and inaccurate. Go elsewhere... anywhere! Such a disappointment! They used to be much better. Glad to see I'm not the only one that thinks this site should go away for good!
Truly a disgraceful site as it is always about sensationalistic headlines and always uses negative wording like: Catastrophic, cataclysmic, apocalyptic, deadly, danger, horrible, destruction, extinction, etc... They truly could care less about the weather whereas they are exactly like MTV. They WERE good and respected then sold out and went to "reality" tv type programming. Their site is full of ads as well and the subject matter pertaining to weather no longer exists.
I got very tired of the doom and gloom click bait on weather.com. I used to rely on for our rocky mt farm But no more. Tired of the drama, horrendous picture and vicarious trauma it promotes. Good bye forever
I'm looking for a map to show me hurricane rain predictions. I see a map on the main page. I click on it. I get a hurricane track, not rain prediction. WTF is running this site? It's been this way for YEARS. My gosh, serve your customers. Having the name weather.com can only take you so far. One more customer lost. (cha-ching)
Answer: Won't get any better. They now force you to turn off your ad blocker or you can't use the site. Move on!
Answer: That's not a question.
