Trying to register Western Digital hard drives bought at Best Buy. They said it was not a valid serial number and wanted pictures of the front and back of the drive. Still had a problem and contacted customer service. They said I was all set. Shortly there after the drive went bad. I asked for a RMA. It was denied. I showed them the drive THEY REGISTERED with the sales slip and it was still denied. They said the drive was not theirs. Then I tried to register another hard drive bought at Best Buy in the same time frame. It was denied they said the drive is OEM or 3rd party. I quit with Western Digital. They denied a drive THEY REGISTERED (see photos) Plus they won't a honor a drive with a 5 year warranty. BUYER BEWARE!
I LOST ALL THE INFORMATION FROM ONE DAY TO THE OTHER WITHOUT ANY CAUSE, THE WD DISC WAS NOT HIT, IT DIDN'T GET WET. I JUST COULD NOT ACCESS MY FILES EVER AGAIN. I NEITHER FOUND ANY SOLUTION WITH THE PEOPLE AT WD CUSTOMER SERVICE!
Great reliable hard disks. My business developed software. We bundled it with computer and communications hardware for our customers. WD was a reliable supplier of good products.
