I am supposed to get a green waste bin that is now required by law. I called them over a month ago requesting it and they basiclly just ignored my request and pretend that they don't have enough drivers to do it... Like they can hire more drivers. Cheap bastards. There website doesn't work half the time as well. So i have to spend a hour on the phone just to schedule a bulky pick up. There horrible to deal with. I hope my local City abandons them and use there competition.
WM once again failed to pick up our recycling. We have no choice but to use them since our HOA contracts with them. My neighbor and I e-mailed and called them and were assured that they would correct the problem and pick up the recycling bin stuff. Once again it did not happen. We have to put the full bins back in the garage or risk an HOA fine. It'll be two weeks before the recycling truck appears again, if we're lucky. WM sucks.
I live in a very large apartment complex and across the parking lot from the dumpsters. I notice every time they empty our dumpsters, they pick up the garbage thoughtless residents leave on the ground. It's always nice to see so much consideration for cleanliness! Thanks Waste Management for the top rate service!
After having service with this lying company since 2017 oh, I decided to cancel service with them because they quickly start again expensive. They went from $100 every 3 months to $156 every 3 months and they just had to go. When I canceled I was told that I had made an overpayment and then I will get a refund check of $128. A month later and have to call in various times they told me today September 4th 2021 that they don't give refunds back or return any money in my area. After being patient with them for so long and getting the runaround for about a month I told him that they sucked. I will let every veteran I know anyone that has their service to beware of this company
So I switched over to waste management because my last provider was always late every other week. I figured wm would be better as their trucks are always around my area. It was good for a while, but they started being late as well. First it was one day delay, then 2 days, then 3 days. Finally a week! I usually would get emails, but not the last time. We called a representative and was told to put any extra garbage on the side and they'll pick up. We'll they came today and the extra bag was not picked up! Very disappointed! Why was the extra bag not picked up? I understand that there are driver shortages, but do what you're supposed to do. That's why I will not do business with wm again.
I am not a customer of this company, and based on my experiences with them, I NEVER will be. I will also actively discourage everyone I can from using their services. For several months now, this company has been sending me confidential information about their customers. It doesn't matter how many times I've emailed them informing them that I'm not a customer, and don't want their customers' payment information, they just keep sending it. I have now reported them as spam, so the emails don't show up in my inbox. To those who are their customers, I want to assure you that I have NEVER looked at, copied, or used the information sent to me, bur you may want to check to see if someone else has. If I'm getting your info, someone else may be as well.
So I called a few times regarding their auto pay. They want you to enroll in paperless billing and autopay otherwise they will charge you an extra $8.50…. I already had paperless billing but still charging me $8.50 for not enrolling in autopay! It's like there almost forcing there customers to do something they can't do. I asked for a manager or supervisor to give me a call, which never happened. I know not everyone can do that do to funds and everything going up. Also I asked if they would pay NSF fees if a customer did autopay but didn't have the money… Absolutely not! No help either way! And they didn't really care about losing customers due to there fees/new contact!
Received my first bill here in AZ and it was $242. Yes can you believe that? They charged me a $85 service which is fine but than they charge $88 fuel charge. SO basically they charge a fee and you pay another fee on that fee, Talk about double taxation. I cancelled and will not pay any of their excessive fees. They can bill all they want they will not get any of my money, Moved on.
Called to cancel service. First thing said when he answered phone in customer service was "what's the problem"
Told him need to.cancel service he asked why rudely. Felt he didn't need to know. He kept at it. I got very upset and told him he was being rude. Finally got serviced canceled however b4 hanging up he information me of a 110.00 pick up our tote fee. After all of the horrible customer service I'm glad to pay it to never go.back. Stay away.
How the hell you supply the white ppl good service but no black $#*!ed up cans need to do better with service or gtfo can't stand aye one to be above company and not given good service trash stay on the ground carts all broke to hell and back $#*! jus don't make since and I am a old employee with this company it jus shameful
I have been customer for 2 years and recently had triple bypass surgery and not able to work right, my services were stopped due to a $138 bill. I told them I could make a payment on Friday ( in 2 days) I was told no, that I needed to make a payment today. A billion dollar company cut my services for $138. Waste Management doesn't care about there customers.
We discovered in Flagstaff that a local company offered better service at a lower price. We decided to change to this new company. I subsequently spent over an hour and a half just to cancel the service. Then came the final bill problems with another hour spent trying to pay the final bill and fees for picking up the containers. I will never do any business with this company again with such poor customer service. When they asked if i would like to have them call me back instead of waiting, I selected yes and nothing happened. It's hard for me to understand how this company can stay in business with such poor customer service.
They sure don't have a problem charging me for the service they don't provide! This is like the 6th time in less than 6 months that just just forget to pick up my garbage from the street! Can't ever get ahold of anyone from the company to call. It's very pethetic they can't even do their job!
Most of the time they are late. If they arrive early (5am), they are loud and ridiculous while some of us are still asleep. Arrive at different times, no set schedule. They should get their act together. I will never use this service again. You get what you pay for, pay a little extra for a better service. Or be like me with trash bags waiting for the containers to be emptied.
I had issues with them picking up my trash and decided to cancel service. They continued to bill me and actually debited my bank account even after I I took off the auto pay. It took me about a month to get them to credit my account back the charge, Then they sent me a check in the mail. They called about 2 weeks later and said that they were cancelling the check because they already gave me back my money. I told them that I thought that my wife had already deposited the check, but was not sure since she was out of town. They said that they would call me back in 2 days when she was back in town, but I did not get a call, but I got a letter from a collection agency.
There is so much disconnect within this company. Customer service agents have no clue when you call them, supervisors tell you that everything is cleared up, but issues continue to exist with billing and local offices. Horrible company!
I had this company back in 2000 and they had problems picking up my trash. I had to call them a lot about it. The person I contacted defended their poor service. She didn't seem to care or listen. I told her once that I watched them pick up my next door neighbor's trash and not mine. The neighbor had a different company. I wanted to know why there was a problem getting consistent service. They couldn't give me a reason. I got fed up and changed garbage companies even though I had to pay more. It was worth it because the other company never missed a week.
This is the fifth time in a row that we have seen the Waste Management trash truck pull up and throw our recycling in the truck along with the trash. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau about this and WM agreed to refund me the money I had paid for recycling. Guess what! They didn't. I have to discontinue our service but I doubt they will refund me my money. I think it will be cheaper to hire somebody else. Do not deal with these people. You will regret it, as I do.
This has to be the most poorly run service organization I have encountered in my life. Changes to service dates, then they don't pick up trash after the fact. They increase your rates without proper notification. Then try to call and reach someone? It is not possible. Mr. Fisch, CEO, this is a travesty. You have to have a small team of client service people available to answer calls. The fact that you have a rating of 1.0 should be an awakening.
If you have the option, get another trash company. I NEVER see my trash guys get out of the truck, they are constantly leaving garbage behind. My tote has been broken since last summer, their drivers did it, and I have yet to see a new one. I and my husband have called countless times to get a new tote and we are told someone will be by, well no one ever comes by. Lazy workers.
For several weeks, waste management has failed to pick up bags of leaves that have been awaiting pickup. The bags were originally properly bagged and did not exceed 50 pounds. Upon contact with waste management, we were informed that they would only be able to pick up 10 bags at a time, this was understood but at this time no bags have been picked up. After further communication a representative with waste management confirmed that pick up would occur on Friday, June16th. The same number of bags remain. Additionally, the bags have been rained on several times, and ran over creating a unsightly scene.
This seems to be associated with discriminatory practices, and one can not help but conclude that if we were in a neighborhood that was not predominantly black, results would be different. This is not the first time we've had issues with this company and is honestly unacceptable.
Answer: Apparently it is how they conduct business by being as rude and unethical as possible. I hope they did not steal from you as well.
