My rating would be zero stars if it were an option i would advise everyone not to order there service, 1 off they charge a 5,00 monthly energy fee 2 nd off I started service with wm in June of 2020 at 22.60 per month since the start date my bill has increased today's bill is 47.70. Over double in 3 Years everyone in my neighborhood has wm for trash removal times 5.00 energy fee that totals at least 1000 per month for a small community
Be careful with this company. Once you are locked into a contract they will add charges and increase fees. Breaking a contract is an onerous and expensive process unless you are able to inform them during the small window that shows up in the fine print. When we finally cancelled we received an $800+ bill to pick up the bins. The negative reviews speak for themselves.
Waste Management bought our disposal company, and they changed our account without communicating this. They are trying to bill us for late fees. And they raised the rate significantly without notice. It's nearly impossible to contact them by email or phone. Their support is awful.
Do yourself a favor and avoid working with them.
Every North Scottsdale apartment complex that uses Waste Management has a serious backup on a constant basis that turns luxury complexes into cesspools of putrid trash. There is something wrong with their schedule of pickup at multi-dwelling complexes. Maybe the apartment complexes are to blame for not paying for an appropriate schedule but this is just disgusting and wrong on so many levels.
This is the WORST service. Fees are constantly climbing, they often leave the bin full. Since day 1 the bin has been missing a wheel and they never bothered to fix it. After paying a huge bill and an extra fee, and speaking on the phone with an agent for forty minutes, they promised me that they would do a pick up on friday. They did not pick up on friday, despite the fact that I dragged the frozen, one wheeled trash bin through the snow in minus 7 degree weather. On calling, I indicated that the bin is still at the roadside, and reiterated their promise to pick it up. They stated that they could not get a truck out here because we are expecting bad weather (forecast is clear until friday). Wish I had read the reviews before paying their EXPENSIVE fees. Cancelled service today.
Has the worst service. Never use them. If I could give them 0 stars, I would. They were suppose to drop off my waste bin Wednesday. Never did. Then I called to reschedule for Friday… Never came. Now they're about to close in an hour and it's still not here
They have continued to charge my account for months after the business was closed. They were informed by email that the business will be closing and to cancel the account ahead of time. They are running more of a scam then anything else. They would also charge crazy stupid fees, for the lids being left open or even for it being fully loaded. They expect you to load only half of what you pay for. Avoid working with them at all costs.
This company has terrible customer service, they have a big name so you think you can trust them. I would try and use a more local source of trash pick up they are more than likely owned by WM anyway but could offer lower prices and better service. WM will charge you extra fees at the end and the customer service line is not available.
We've had issues with missed service almost monthly. No notice that pick up is being rescheduled until after they have closed for the day. This results in wildlife and strays tipping cans and strewing garbage everywhere. No recycling option available, no garbage cans provided. No discount on the bill unless when they miss picking up. They require you to pay for a service you may or may not receive. Customer service says they will address issues, but nothing changes. If you have a choice, pick another service provider.
They over charge you and is impossible to get an actual person on the phone to rectify or answer your concerns. When you do manage to get through to someone one they transfer you to another area only to have your call disconnected and/or hang up on you after spending hours on the phone. Please avoid their services if at all cost - as it will cost you both valuable time and money.
There should be a zero star option.
We own an Asbestos Abatement Company and have had terrible experience with Wastement Management outside of the State of Maine. We opened a business in Rhode Island and ordered a dumpster that took 2 weeks to have delivered.
Once delivered it sat in our company drive way from August 2021 until February 2022. We called many times and was transferred to 5 people and when asked if I could speak with their manager they said to leave a message.
The manager never contacted us but told one of the service representatives that if we emptied the contents of the can they could come pick it up. We didn't hire Waste Management to leave our waste on the ground.
Eventually when we refused to do what was suggested they picked up the can. Prior to this current dumpster we paid $3,000 per dumpster. This Dumpster cost $4,401.32! We were charged extra and above previous bills to endure the horrific experience.
We will NEVER use Waste Management again and advise finding alternative companies.
I have had a round rubber can for about 20 years without any problems. About 3 weeks ago I looked out and my can was gone. The driver just said too bad I can only pickup square cans. Customer service will give you $15 for that can. A new can is at least $50. I went out and bought a square can. First week ok, second week took the whole can. Again very sorry here is $15. That is their prepared script and there is no exception. But it's the only game in town so "sucks to be you" according to WW.
Please please please - DO NOT use this trash company. I've had them for about a year now and they've missed probably half of the pick ups. This seems like a SIMPLE task, picking up someone's trash same day of the week, every week. Well they cannot nail it that's for sure. Reporting missed pick ups every single time - only to come to the conclusion by the end of the relationship "they have no record of any issues". Really? I have all of the automatic response emails from when we sent issues in via email. Calling to end your services? Get ready to wait on the phone for minimum half an hour - only to fight with the employees on the facts of your experience being terrible. They then charge you tons of $$$ to "remove the bins" from your residence and end the services... please tell me why I should pay you any more for a terrible service? You missed half, if not more the pick ups. Of course you want more money, right? TERRIBLE!
I called in several times to get someone to help me with a new owner transference, they transfer me from one department to another one ending in leaving a message in an answer machine after one hour waiting with several departments.
I can not believed why is so complicated.
Very poor customer service, seems to me that they don't event care about my request and probably the community as well.
So dissatisfied with the employees and service.
I know for sure that is a lot a people who does not have a job at this moment that will be happy to work there and help us out better than the people that is currently working there right know that just care in collecting the pay check then work.
We stopped service with Waste Management last September due to dissatisfaction with their rates compared to other services. We paid through the end of the cycle. In March I received a collection notice in the mail for $71.55. After getting zero cooperation from the collection agency, I called Waste Management, who I had found out sent it to collections. My credit is flawless, so this was a total insult. Waste Management said they "erroneously" sent us money and attempted to collect it back. They said they sent an email, a letter, and tried calling. I received not a single VM, letter, or email. As well, I never received said money from them and could prove that by my bank account. Making a customer pay for the business's mistake is like punishment for leaving their service. I would never recommend Waste Management to anyone!
Our trash have not been picked up for 2 weeks, multiple calls to customer service, after long waiting time, I was told each time "Today" but no one never comes. And this is not the first time. But you keep paying for the benefits you didn't receive. I'm very disappointed and angry.
This is a horrible company of employees and managers who have no concern for customers or issues. I believe they must hold class on how to be rude and deceitful to customers and others. The managers as well as sale personnel only know how to tell lies and misinformation to people solving issue's is not part of thier mission statement please do not under any circumstances have this company pick up your waste. Stay away far away they are a company where customers service is a foreign world to them. They deserve 0 stars.
WM bought out our previous company (Advanced Disposal) and since then it's been horrible service. They raised my rates, decreased the number of pickups, and don't even show up half the time. I really wish I had the old company back
I have been trying to get them to pick my trash up for 3 weeks now still to no avail. Customer service tells you one thing but it never ever happens. There is no competition for them in our area so they can pretty much do whatever they want wen they want - they don't deserve a rating of 1 star because they have yet to take my trash - only my money
Absolutely awful company. The charges they have you sign and agree to include "extra fees" that more than double what your signed to pay for. Then if you want to get out of our contract, the early termination fee is the full amount you would have paid for services to term. Then on top of that, they charge you upwards of $600 to remove their equipment from your site if you discontinue services. Definitely and unethical company and I wish I had read reviews before getting caught up with them. Please, save yourself frustration and a significant amount of $$ and do NOT use this company.
Answer: Apparently it is how they conduct business by being as rude and unethical as possible. I hope they did not steal from you as well.
