Fo months they have been very erratic with service. They say they don't have drivers. U would think they know this ahead of time and email AHEAD of time that they wont pick your recyclable so one dent take it out only to have to bring it back. No, they email you after and say they wont be there until next week, then they don't come HORRIBLE!
When things go bad like a missed service or bad weather their customer service is horrible. I have to call, email, chat and get a little stern with them to get anything resolved. They don't invest in it and don't need to since we can't change to another provider. They also keep raising prices and cutting what they pickup for recycling. Yet the boast on their corporate website about all the profit they are making.
Here in Wood county West Virginia. Waste management is the only company that does not offer recycling. Roughly 3 different organizations you can choose from and yet they are national plus the largest organization to choose from. So I ask are they really thinking green? Then to charge you $20 if you don't have a hardhat & vest to go to Drop off at the landfill. Straight up asinine, waste management I'm sorry I'm done with you
Service dates shift without notice and service is missed. When you contact they continually tell you that you are on schedule by 3:26pm but conveniently they close at 3pm so when they do not show there is no one to reach out to. There are now 4 overflowing cans in out area attracting animals that will be there for days.
Had Waste Management for years with no problems. Moved and took the W/M bins to new address. Two years later they raised my bill by about $30 per quarter and I cancelled service. They picked up their bins and claim I owe $75 for that service. I have told them that we were even since I brought the bins to my new address myself and spared them a drop off trip. I tried to call to resolve and was put on hold for a supervisor but nobody ever returned to line. This is how they treat disabled vetererans.
I was constantly told my residential toter would be delivered and garbage would be picked up. 6 weeks later and 2 monthly bills later…nothing. I called 7 times to inquire and finally cancel my subscription. Still haven't heard the truth from them…no apology. No explanation. No reimbursement. Unable to get answers from the app, website or phone call.
I would like to commend Driver John Tarbox Route G-4 for his outstanding service he provides to me and my family. He is a professional in all areas of his job. I would strongly recommend him for more responsibility and promotion. Serving 28 Years as a Naval Submarine Officer and 20 Years in Law Enforcement I can recognize a great employee. Thank you.
Rate hike every year, 1.5 hours each time on hold just to talk to someone. We cancelled our service and moved away, only to find out they never updated their records and then wanted to charge us $363 for the upcoming year, even though we did not live in the house anymore! I hope they get what they deserve.
Do not let your contact renew with wastemanagement. They are incompetent. We have had problem after problem with wastemanagement. When they pull the compactor at lunch time and don't bring it back until the next morning is a big problem when you have 500 residents.
Your workers are very disrespectful especially the ones that work at the landfilled in Newton County Texas
Before Thanksgiving, I made arrangements to have a container brought out… without even notifying me… they put it to a different date… anyways… 5 different times …they told me that they were going to deliver my container…. I actually called in and they told me it was going to be delivered that day…. Only for me to call back in later that day … and for them to tell me …that it wasn't going to be delivered until the following Monday… The company is horrible… they can't even deliver the container for service…. Very disappointed with this company
Horrible company to deal with! They are unhelpful and unfriendly, completely don't care! And charge you to remove the cans (which have been on my front lawn for almost 2 months) and tell you it is on your bill ( which it isn't until they put on your bill when they charge you)! Such a huge company and they have to jab it to the customer one more time because its the customers fault they were unable to help you! I would recommend if you have to get a trash company do NOT use them. Go to CTR, they are helpful and very friendly to deal with.
Over the summer the office mixed up our weeks. My husband called and got it fixed. We have two weeks of trashed so our barrels were over filling, the people at the office said that is was okay to put bags outside the barrels and they would not charge us. Well I guess this was never said to the driver and he was telling my husband he was taking pictures to show the office how much trash we had they will charge us. Once my husband told the driver about the mix up and that we will not be charged for this the driver got pissed he had to get out of his truck and pick up the bags. The driver said he will be talking to the office about this. He was so pissed off for whatever reason and wicked rude about everything.So my husband called the office and talked to the people in there and they said that they would handle the driver. And the only thing they said was "sorry for his attitude "…… so from this point of the driver has had issues with my husband and gives us a hard time even if our lid is open because he tries to say that we have too much trash!
So today I put my trash out like I do every week at the same time and the driver was no where in sight! I'm thinking everything is good. Well of course not! Because about 25 mins later (and no I do not live of a big seer, I live on a small dead end so it would not take him 25 mins to pick the four other houses on my street). I never saw their direct go by my house but I don't sit there and watch all day but I did see the driver sitting across from my house on his phone. Not sure what's going on because my trash was never picked up, I call to talk to someone about this because I mean tomorrow is thanksgiving and you need to have empty trash cans with all the cooking and everything! Well the women I talked to was so extremely rude to me and did not seem to care. I tried to explain to her what happen and she said well I can send him again and we will charge you for a fee for a second pick up or you can wait till next week. Like are you kidding me? She could have cared less what i was saying to her! These people do not care about their costumes. Do not use them if you do not have to!
There is no rationale as to how they keep changing the pricing month after month.
I need to quit this company. The salesperson said: I can exit my contract but there will be 6-month penalty. Any truth to this?
I have to renegotiate the contract every year so I m not hit by a 17.5% increase on top of poor customer service. Hours on the phone and no results. They keep you on hold for 45 min on purpose till you are fed up and disconnect. It reminded me of Bell Canada and Rogers.
What is the validity of this contract? Can someone confirm
We bought a dumpster bag through Home Depot, we filled the bag up with a lot of carpet and wood, and some rebar. Then when we called for a pick up through Waste Management, and they said they don`t pick up in our area, so if you want to use, check first before buying a dumpster bag. Thats 29.95 down the drain, Thanks a lot for your help. This really sucks!( Actually the rating is 0)
I called today because my old trash cart that I've had since 2011 that I've paid a rental fee on time for ever month is falling apart and I need a new one or it repaired They want to charge me 40$ on top what I already pay every month Guess I'll take my business somewhere else
This company is the absolute worst. Their billing changes monthly even if you're in a fixed contract. Their customer service is non-existent. Every month I would be calling them with questions on our invoice and one time was told by our account manager that I needed to use my common sense after I wanted him to explain certain charges. Each time I would have to contact them I would get a headache and severe anxiety and lose an hour of my day.
After ending our contract with them and scheduling a bin removal service. I spent 4 days calling them to pick up their bins. Every person I spoke with told me they would speak with dispatch and get back to me which they never did. After the fourth day of getting nowhere, I called them every hour and asked for an update. Finally they sent my manager an email with fake confirmation #'s for the bin removal when I was told at the time of scheduling that no #'s were available. Then I was told the removal would not happen that day. Eventually I collected their main email and cc'd each customer service rep I had spoken with and sent them a very dissatisfied email and within half an hour the truck was here to pick up the bins. The third party truck that they sent to pick up the bins said he had 8 emergency pickups that day! He also mentioned that all their drivers have quit because they are a terrible company to work for. SOOOO happy to be done dealing with them and hoping for better success with our new recycling provider.
We are having problems with them not picking up and emptying our recycle bins. This is ongoing. They have access to our containers with a remote to our garage. They apparently have lost it or it is not given out to the drivers. As we are in Vancouver British Columbia we do not have a local number to call them. When we do call their supposed local number it transfers us to a number in Atlanta Georgia. We have spoken to them once and they are absolutely no help in resolving our problem. Pathetic Management should be their name.
We've been trying to change our waste Toter sizes for over three months. Each time we call customer service (haha, that's a oxymoron!), they tell us that service will be out to exchange toter containers sizes. This has happened more that four times! And no changes to our fill our request. However, I noticed that our account reflects the changes to what we've requested.
Speaking to "Melinda", I asked her if there is a Work Order or Service Ticket Number she can provide to reference to when I receive a call back from WM to follow up on service request. She stated that they don't create service tickets or generate service numbers and that I can try the online chat feature. I stated that that feature does not allow that type of service, related to my request (she should have known that or maybe she just wanted to avoid the specific issue of providing a service ticket number). If they don't generate a Work Order/Service Ticker, how do they track their performance/quality. Its clear that WM doesn't care about what their customers think of the (ref WM Reviews = 1.1; WOW!) That review rating sucks and that confirms my statement about WM caring about their CS.
Answer: Apparently it is how they conduct business by being as rude and unethical as possible. I hope they did not steal from you as well.
