I want my money
February 1, 2023

After losing my card and getting a new one, they blocked my account and will not give my Money, told me they would send me a check in mail I would receive in 2 weeks, now they want something verifying my address, which I live in a travel trailer so I move around, I have a mailing address, Which is not good enough, I have sent copy of w2, my drivers license some mail with my name and they refuse to give me my money

I have a money card and no soon as my money got loaded to my card it got a restitution to it and I downloaded my Id and work Id as week and still can't use my money how can I cancel this card and get my money back

DO NOT BUY WAL-MART VISA CARDS!
I was given a visa card as a gift card. I was only able to l use only $14 of the $20 it said it was worth. And mind you, that was with NO HELP from WAL-MART employees! Three tried but they have no idea about their own products. One even told me that it wasn't a card from Wal-Mart which shouldn't matter since it was a Visa anyway. I showed her the Logo and said, "Isn't this WalMart?"

I just called them and they said I have a NEGATIVE $5 balance! They said I did 3 transactions in June and you're charged for each transaction. Those 3 transactions were all from 1 purchase! It wouldn't let me do $20 which was the gift card amount! So I tried $15. It wouldn't let me do that either because they had already charged me a monthly fee of $5.94 which I was unaware of. I then tried $10 which went through. Then I did $3 which went through. Then I tried $1 which went through - so $14 total.

I just cancelled the card and will shred it.

Fraud use
August 17, 2019

Woke up the next morning from ordering from amazon the night before got an email saying my payment didn't go thru so I logged into my account but it wouldn't let me so I called the *******098 number early and they tried to explain to me my card was blocked for fraudulent use I was so confused because all I do is load my card and buy groceries or go shopping nothing unusual so I asked to speak with a manager she said they won't be in until 3 more hours so I called back in exactly 3 hours and tried to talk to a manger or supervisor and they said the supervisors were busy than told me I could use the remaining balance but I can't reload my card or order another Walmart card ever again I have been with walmart money card for years yes I've had to get several different cards because money was being taken out of my account but I honestly thought they were gonna fix things but now this I am livid

Awful!

I purchased the temp WalMart card and had to go back to reload, due to not adding enough funds for purchases, and when I tried, at first with walmart customer service (money services desk) I was told I could not add funds to the temp card. Frustrating yes, because I had to purchase additional card. So, the same happened again, and had to purchase yet ANOTHER card each time I wanted to add funds to my acct I wasn't able to. So I call cust service and they say oh yes, I was able to, but due to a conflict between the card service and WalMart, I was unable to. So, due to their own error/dispute, I got charged for each of the new card fees, in addition to getting charged 5$ per card a few days into having the cards. I assumed I'd have one month from the date of purchase before being charged the monthly fee, but nope. AND they refused to refund any of these bologna charges. Needless to say I will never use their services again, nor will I recommend to anyone considering.

CALLED ON APRIL 28 ABOUT 4 PENDING CHARGES THAT I DID NOT MAKE. WAS TOLD I HAD TO WAIT TILL THEY POSTED, TRANSFERRED TO 6 DIFFERENT PEOPLE. CALLED BACK AFTER THEY POSTED APRIL 4TH SPOKE WITH FRAUD DEPARTMENT THEY PUT ME ON HOLD 1 HOUR 45 MINUTES THEY NEVER CAME BACK ON PHONE. CALLED SEVERAL MORE TIMES SINCE AND EVERYTIME I CALL THEY TELL ME TO HIVE THEM A MINUTE AND AFTER OVER AN HOUR I HANG UP... THIS BANK REFUSES TO GIVE BACK MY MONEY THEREFORE THEY HAVE STOLE MY MONEY. GOING TO GO TO WALMART CORPORATE SINCE THEY GAVE ALLOWED THIS BANK TO BE ON THEIR WAMAR CARDS.

I was a customer for 4/5 years. Last year(July 2022)I was disputing transactions I didn't make after my card was lost & stolen. They decided without warning to close my an account. Almost a year later I got a letter in the mail (June/2023) one of the disputes was reviewed & came back it was wrongly denied so I was owed a refund from that dispute.It is now September/2023 & I'm still getting the run around. Sent in by email all documents they asked for & im being told it will be 32-60 days until I get my refund after they review my documents. It is over a year sine I made the original dispute & they are basically saying it takes almost a year & a half to get my money that's owed to me. This is horrible & ridiculous. DO NOT BANK WITH WALMART OR GREENDOT CORPORATION. Unprofessional, rude & just all around bad & horrible banking & customer service!

I purchased a card on 9/30 came home and activated it tried to pay a bill and was declined, called them and was told that I put the wrong last four digits of my social in and that's why I can't use it, they told me in order to get a refund I would need to send in my driver's license the card I purchased and a utility bill to verify my identity, well I just been informed that they was not going to issue me a refund so now they have all my information but no refund the sad thing about it is they will not even talk to me they say it's because they can't identity me so I suggest to anyone reading this please use Chime. Vero, PayPal, or Bluebird if you want to use a good card!

Terrible Service

I go to the Walmart in Franklin, Virginia; the Walmart in Wilson, North Carolina; sometimes I end up in different Walmarts as I travel around the East Coast occasionally. I have NEVER seen a "working" ATM. I am almost convinced that the workers put the "out of order" sign on it to avoid counting the money every day. I have NEVER seen the banks "open"; once again, pretty sure they just do other things during the day. Something as simple as cashing a check takes forever because the workers feel the need to bounce you between their checkout lines until you find someone who actually WILL cash the check.

Terrible. Don't get a Walmart Money Card. Don't try to affiliate yourself with anything having to do with YOUR money and walmart.

My direct deposit was going in the same account for over a year and this l ast one November 26 was sent back and reposted in a wrong account November 30 I cannot get any answers and am refused a supervisor

I guess it's basically the same story I am learning their are hundreds orore people getting scammed and I guess stealing money from people who work HARD for their money, trusting all american walmart to treat their customers like they matter we are the customes and I know we are not going to lie down and take this sort of abuse! I need my rent paid and should be able toh have access to My My money...I am so pissed off I have never had such poor shady service like this...

The Walmart Money Card is Operated through Green Dot Bank; nothing more than a Disorganized group of misfits! Customer Service has to be the Worlds Worst and controlled by a group of Chimpanzees with ZERO Understanding of what CUSTOMER SERVICE MEANS! How could such a successful organization, such as WALMART, associate themselves with the MISFITS of GREEN DOT! I could hire and train a possum or an armadillo to do a more effective and efficient job than Green Dot!

Worst giftcard ever

We put in 30 dollars and we bought something on Amazon for 21 dollars and they charged us a fee of 5.95 so we canceled the order and we can't get our money back because we canceled the order before it shipped. BTW STOP ASKING PEOPLE FOR THEIR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS IM NOT GIVING YOU $#*! IM GOING BACK TO THE VANILLA VISA GIFTCARD WHAT A $#*!ING RIP OFF 30 DOLLARS DOWN THE DRAIN

I check my card daily. One night I had almost $600 in my account. The following morning I only had $6 in my account. I had nearly 50 charges from apple.com. I did have a large sum of money in the vault of my card. The Walmart associate could only put a block on my account and told me that I would have to wait 10 days for the pending charges to drop off. I ended up calling Apple and explained my situation. They verified that I didn't even have an account with them and that no one else has access to my card. They told me that they would reimburse my account within 3 days. Today, two days later, I called Walmart money card.com to get the block off of my account so I could transfer the money from my vault to another card. I must have been transferred to six or seven different departments. I was ultimately going in circles only to have them tell me the block could not be removed. So there sits my large amount of money that I don't have access to as well as a sizable amount of fraudulent charges which are to be reimbursed. These associates are from overseas and speak very poor English. And they speak it fast so you can't understand them. It makes a frustrating situation all the more frustrating. I was told that they could mail out an expedited new card for me with a $15 charge. I don't even have $15 in my immediate account. I am thankful for the their security measures, but the way that they are handling it is very, very poor. I need to find a new debit card system that isn't going to jack around.

Walmart money card is a rip off I gave him $120 initial load and I lost the card but when I got a new car doing nothing but a negative three balance for replacement car fee with no $120 and I have been fighting for over a month to try to get it Walmart says go to Walmart money card Walmart money card says go to Walmart who do I go to here for my money please help.

In disguise they are doing crinimal acts, there are a petition started to expose, close and hold them accountable for they crinimal distrust acts at CHANGE.ORG JOIN MR Demarrcuss in holding walmart money card accountable by signing and sharing

Everyone that's sick and tired of walmart mistreating, stealing our funds treating us like ponds go to change. Org sign and share the petition lets get our funds back and make Walmart money card be held accountable for there action
