Busy tells me it recommend hex to view the movie then won't play it so I switch to the other version and all it does is buffer the whole time I don't think it's a internet problem like they say I think it's poor development by the company my net flux don't buffer a thousand times every two minutes
VUDU is fantastic! Easy to maneuver, great sale prices when you become a member. Love it! Have over 450 movies I've purchased! Thank you VUDU. I've just read some of the Negative Reviews of VUDU, sound not being good, problems w/ Coustmer Service, That's all bunk! Have been w/ VUDU several years now and have NEVER had problems viewing my movies! The quality of their streaming movies is great. Another thing about Coustmer Service, they're great! Once purchased a movie by mistake and they quickly refunded my purchase. Trust me, they're my favorite streaming movie channel! Thank you VUDU!

Unfortunately, vudo is downloaded free for anybody with a capable device. There are wide selections of porn movies, usually labeled MA, unrated, 18+ 21+. After a quick analysis 40% of free movies, are sexual, nudity,, porn scenes. Reviewing all other free movie apps, Vudo is the only one I see, offering this free, other free online services, this content needs a credit card and age requirements. Sex sells, this keeps there services with a higher rating. I have vudo Fandango blocked on my television. I am aware parental passwords are abailable. Thats not the answer, if you can't be a decent movie provider with our children's and teens best interest in mind, your service are blocked.
My mom and i tried to watch the grudge and we wanted to watch it on amazon prime, but there was no option to watch it. So we went through the process of creating a vudu account and my mon put in her email, but it went to my dads? My dad didnt know his password so he changed it for us, but when we tried to go through with the transaction, it said transaction incomplete. A big waste of time
The worst experience ive had talking to customer service in my life! Not to mention they charged me twice for the same movie and got mad at me for canceling one of them through my credit card. So now they have suspended my account over 6 dollars haha. Vudu is nothing but a punch line to a very bad joke and i pray that they would soon go out of business. Judging the experience i had with customer service it wont be long till netflix and other movie sites take this crap of a company and shred it up. In retrospect i recommend tubi same free movies but better customer support.
So I tried to buy a movie Batman The killing Joke. I was a special deal $16.99 for Hdx download and Blue ray disc when I went to order it it said it could not complete the order try later or call tech support, so I called tech support and they informed me that the reason was because I did not have an address listed in my profile, but yet when i clicked on my profile the address was already listed. I've been a member for over two years and added my address when I signed up. The tech support agent said he couldn't do any thing for me. I contacted support via email and have not gotten a reply back go figure, So tell me why I should keep my account open
VUDU absolutely sucks. The first problem I had with them was the Walking Dead episodes for season 5 would just stop playing and shut off. Contacted them about that and they basically didnt do $#*!. Then when I changed my bank account I went in, changed the payment card in my account and deleted the old card. What did VUDU do? They somehow charged the old deleted card and overdrew my empty about-to-be-closed account. When I asked for the overdraft fee back they basically told me to pound sand. In all I had 3 issues with VUDU in less than 6 months and they didnt do a damn thing about any of them.
I purchased Lord of the Rings: The Two Towers to watch with my son for the first time. He was really excited. We wrestled with a horrible user interface and apparent incompatability with Linux using FF, Opera, Chrome, and others. Installed flash, plugins, etc. for a solid hour. Nothing. Then used an xbox to login via a browser. The movie would stop about every 10-minutes and we would have to restart, then at about the 1-hour mark it just stopped streaming and would never provide anything but an error. All other sites worked fine, just Vudu that was hosed. This is the WORST streaming experience I have ever had and will NEVER use this service again.
After spending 2 hours to watch a move I finally gave up. Log in, Create an account, Create a password, Billing info. Then I try to watch a movie and it still wants me to create an account. WTF. Back to netflix. BIG waste of time.

If you have a REDBOX close to you then you don t need Vudu.
Why pay $4 and up if you can rent the same movie for $1.25?
Mostly of the old movies Vudu has for $3.99 are free at the public library (if you have little ones and you want to see good movies, go to the Library, you can keep the movies for 5 days and you don t have to pay anything)
The prices Vudu has do not make sence.
It's like nobody at VUDU cares anymore, all the sections are a complete mess, there is virtually no organization especially in the classic section, and never anything good on sale. I'm really disappointed and dissatisfied with VUDU lately and I'm definitely spending more on Amazon these days, they have more choices over all and particularly for Classic movie lovers like me, although I do actually spend just as much on new and popular movies. I can definitely tell VUDU's over all quality has slipped,and Amazon is gaining the ground. Shape up VUDU,unless you just don't want the sales. $$$
This experience (XBOX ONE) is utterly frustrating.
* Transaction failures
* Constantly drops connection (but internet is fine)
* App keeps dying and needs to be force shut and restarted
* UX is not up to current standards
* App gets sick if you watch more than 2hours. Needs to be killed and restarted.
I wish the team at WalMart would attend to this. I can't recommend this until they address the issues.
Good luck finding a browser that will allow you to stream a movie from their site. Contstant Flash errors even after updating flash. I paused a movie halfway to continue it the next day and it said I'd watched the full thing. Contacted customer service and they said it looks like you watched the whole movie. Customer Service is nonexistent, stay away!
I have had them lose seasons of TV shows that I have had stored there. I have the original DVD's/Bluray's but not the pieces of paper with the codes. I was stupid and trusted that once the code was in the process was over. This first happened when they updated the website and I did call customer service. I found them to be arrogant and unhelpful as well. I dont use the site anymore and would never purchase a movie directly from them. I advise caution and to retain the original code slips.
They have the worst customer servce i have ever seen they will double bill u but when u complain no response who ever is running their customer service should be fired they have know idea what their doing
This place is a joke they want you to wait hours for someone to help you no one gets back to you by email this is ridiculous iam waiting on a gift card a purchased from them and nothing no gift card no refund complete garbage
I got the wrong movie title, contacted customer service to get the situation rectified. I sent them the pictures of proof of purchase and everything else they asked for. Did not receive an update until a full month later. They asked for better pictures. A month later and situation wasn't resolved. They're a waste of time. It's a joke.
I will never do business wih these folks again. I wanted to download a movie to watch on the airplane. Vudu came up as a vendor. So I purchased a movie, but it turned out, after purchase that they do streaming like everyone else. So I waited to watch at home on ROKU. But it was constantly buffering. Went all the way down to the lowest speed, and still couldn't watch the movie. The interesting piece is that I tested my Comcast speed at 22-MBS which apparent wasn't sufficient to watch at any speed/quality even though I have no problem with xfinity, Netflix and Amazon. As I started, I will never purchase from them again.
I've tried to convert my DVD's so I can download them to my iPad. No success. I received the Big Bang Theory Season 8. Inside there was a reference code for a free on line copy. I entered the reference code and the site gave me the option to open it in my VUDU account. I opened VUDU, there it was, under the My TV tab with two options. But it for $34.95 or Redeem. I selected Redeem and entered the same reference number. VUDU then said the reference number wasn't valid. So, I have the DVD there, but can't open it. Time to give up!
All movies play a few seconds,, then stop for 3 to 5 minutes then play for a few more seconds them stop,, then play then stop and so on! I made a mistake and rented one. It took 7 and an half hours to watch a 93 minute movie that I paid money for to watch! All VUDU contact support numbers didn't work. Do not ever rent or buy a movie to watch. All movies play and stop play and stop, free or rented. All movies! Sorry website! Not wroth a crap!
Answer: I would just stay away from vudu altogether. They are the worst company I have ever interacted with. I spent a lot of money on videos with them and I cannot watch any of them because the just buffer literally every 5 seconds and then I downloaded them through vudu to go and they won't play on there either. I keep getting a message that vudu cannot authenticate my account. I e-mailed customer services 3 times and have never received a response. I have wasted about $1000. 00 on movies that I cannot watch. I have started using amazon prime video and other sites as well and have no problems whatsoever. Just stay away from vudu they are just taking your money.
Answer: I have had nothing but problems with vudu. My opinion is just stay away and use another company. They are the worst. You will waste your money.
