I ran out of a Solgar product. It took too long to wait for online so I went to local Vitamin Shoppe. Product was out of stock but was sent in two days. The bottle was huge. I discovered it was reformulated with same number of pills. Cost is double what you pay at Amazon. It goes back. What is the point except to encounter another hard sale.
They are sending items to my old address, after I updated to my new address. Customer support said they may not be able to cancel all of the order. That's weird. So they are going to still charge me for items I can't receive? Yep. That's exactly what's happening. So now I have to contact my bank's fraud department to get my money back. How does Vitamin Shoppe think that their handling of that mistake is ok?
I recently applied for a job at Vitamin Shoppe (an unnecessary "e", it's just Shop). Speaking of making things complicated, I think the reason I was not considered for the position was because of racial differences. I had all the skills and experience that they asked for, the interview went really great, and I'm jutting surprised why I didn't make it. I waited patiently and calmly but this is just not fair. I'm not saying because I got rejected and I'm hurt, it's actually because I believe it was a perfect match and they wanted to not hire me beacuse of my skin color or my Ethnicity. Do yourself a favor and order your supplements/vitamins directly from the manufacturer or from Amazon. The Vitamin Shoppe operates on a 55% markup. They bring any and every supplement into their stores, good or bad. They don't care about health & wellness, just profit! If you are a person of color do NOT support The Vitamin Shoppe! Their CEO is extremely racist.
I ordered several cases of energy drinks and was disgusted at how they were delivered. All of the boxes were ripped open, dented cans everywhere, the outer boxes weren't even taped shut. When sending a complaint and pictures the response was equally as disgusting. They offered a coupon for another order. They are too complacent with their customer ls receiving unacceptable packages and really expect you to want to order again? NEVER! Don't waste your time or money and order from a company who cares what they represent.
The website fails to provide a preview order before submitting with Google pay. Instead it took the cached date of an old address even though support mentioned they see the updated address in my profile. I reached out to their support immediately after seeing the error to cancel since they gave no option to update the address before shipment. They informed they would try to cancel. They shipped it anyway to another state. Support said I can ship it back and I asked how am I going to do this when it is hundreds of miles away. They disregard standard fail-safe features on their website, options to update an address, and an avenue to cancel before shipment. Poor service all around! They charged me $164 that I will never get back and shipped anyway. Be careful when order online with this company.
I have purchased their product for years, usually I just drop in and pick up an item when I need. I bought 4 items, paid and was going to my car. I asked the clerk if I could get my items put in a bag. His response was "yes I can bag for you but it but it will cost you 50 cents. What! You have to buy a bag now? That is crazy! I will be buying my items from Amazon from now on— it's cheaper and The beauty of it is free shipping to my door.
I normally go out to buy my items because I want to support the shops near my home. I will not be supporting Vitamin Shoppe anymore just because—.50 a bag. Their customer service is sucks..
Went to the Bangor, Maine store today. Made the mistake of commenting on the lack of a plastic barrier. WRONG comment! I believe the person waiting on me was the ACTUAL STORE MANAGER! Response was very curt…"If you haven't been here in awhile, it's been gone"! So UNPROFESSIONAL! I certainly DON'T want to go back. Was that the desired outcome, and YOU'RE the STORE MANAGER?!?!?
Bohemia Long Island New York store refused to ring me up. I asked for help and David's co worker yelled at me that she was to busy to help me. I asked David what her name was( they wear name tags) as a result he did not answer me and the refused to ring up my order. I was not allowed to buy anything. I had spent 1,200 over the past month. I asked David why would you refuse the company money and he said he does not care. I have a witness to this. I was discriminated and I will not be going back to the vitamin shop I have a health issue and I was not allowed to shop in there I've shopped there for years and years and all of a sudden I can't shop there very disappointing very ugly staff
These guys took out $900 from my account in a SINGLE day. Never bought from these guys (never even heard of them) and I have no idea how they got my card number!
They sold me bottle of Aloe Vera Gel (Aloe Vera Gel 99% Pure - Topical Oil to Soothe & Moisturize, Item #: VS-3854/*******) that smelled unbearably bad, like decades-old unwashed gym socks, truly sickening and they refuse to refund the product to due their Covid policies. I tried to put up an honest one-star review (would like to give zero stars but can't) of the product and they refuse to post it, it gets taken down almost immediately after posting it and this happened twice. I also posted question on the product page as to why they won't allow an honest one star review to be posted and they wouldn't post that either. All this smacks of being very unethical, of trying to boost an already low ranked product (VitaminShope brand ~ their OWN brand) and misleading the public about a likely rancid or defective product that they refuse to return. I will never shop here again!
The store in west palm beach on Okeechobee rd is the worst store I have ever visited. The management there is just horrible, rude and uneducated. Never get a hi when walk in the store, they always turning away from you, never even acknowledge you in the store, never helpful. One day they require masks to wear the next day they don't, they will argue with you too. I worked as an asset manager at vitamin shoppe before and I know companies values and the customer is the first priority. Well, not in this store. Please revisit that store because it's just so bad.

I use a lot of VIt D and their liquid vitamin D is the cheapest in the industry and it tastes great with the lemon flavoring they added. Mind you everything is natural and there are no strange ingredients or fillers added
I have never used the online platform, when i need to order online i use another source, but for offline purchases I have always had a great time here. Customer service is helpful and the prices for their liquid Vit D are the best around.
Worst customer service I have EVER received. I cancelled my account 3 months ago by speaking with a representative on the phone. On the 3rd, $30 was taken out of my account with no email no order number, nothing. I called and was told I would get it refunded that day by a SUPERVISOR. I was lied to and after calling 3 more times, and every time they said it was already refunded. Turns out it wasn't, and they will not pay back the charge for overdrafting my bank account. DO NOT SHOP HERE OR GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD. SCAM
Ive always had a great experience at Vitamin Shoppe every time I go. Staff has been very helpful even on the days that they were super busy. Yesterday, I asked for Pyruvate at the Vitamin Shoppe in Boynton Beach, Florida and, even though its discontinued, they pointed me in the right direction for a deeply discounted Pyruvate that was 25% of the usual cost.
I am Anna and I was at vitamin-shoppe at the sawyer heights and there was a beautiful lady (Yamilet) that invites you to shop; she looks very healthy skin nails and hair also, she looks athletic and offers a great customer service.
I had a return and, she handles in a calm way regarding the busy moment she was facing.
