SCAM! Just steal your money for nothing! The application form is available online for free. Don't pay $47 to this SCAM site to email you just the application form!
I paid $47 thinking the would send the birth certificate and only got a completed
Application and I still have to send it in with the processing fee. So what was the $47 for. RIP OFF
Vital Records is a despicable and very deceitful company. Unfortunately I was naive into thinking that this type of thing exist, but it does. I honestly thought I was in the Los Angeles County supported website Vital Check, which is similar in name to the fraudulent company Vital Records. By the time I realize it was a scam I had already paid $47 to get the process started. So after back and fourth correspondence they finally sent the application form and instructed me to have the document notarized ($15), include a payment of $28 for the birth certificate copy, and then mail it. After the realization I paid $47 for a PDF file I could of downloaded and filled out myself for free, I proceeded to cut my losses and not continue with the process. I went with LA County supported website which was far less and the same amount if I were to continue with the notarization and copy payment. The Vital Report website is a scam, they do nothing but provide the application form which can be found online for free.
Mother and father's name is incomplete.
My complete mother's name is: Judy kay Davignon and Father's name is Edward Eudore Davignon.
My mother's maiden name is: Laws.
I need fix it
It was simple to fill out. I have not received the certificate yet so im hoping this is not premature.
The customer service team was kind and empathetic. I completed the application form from my comfortable couch at home.
This is NOT the official website for getting a birth certificate!
The reviews with more than one star are written by it's employees!
IF YOU GAVE THEM MONEY, DO NOT LEAVE A REVIEW HERE!
GO STRAIGHT TO THE ONLINE FBI REPORTING SITE!
THESE PEOPLE NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN!
They collect ALL of your legal information, charge you $47, forward you the same form you would fill out for FREE online, then they have YOU mail it with the SAME cost the REAL vital records site would have charged you for your birth certificate anyway:
$12.50 for one copy, $16.50 for two copies, etc (add $4 for each copy)
NOT the $47+ the $12.50 this site will charge.
(Prices may vary state to state but NOT $47 just for a copy of the initial form)
You have just given ALL of your legal information to people who can use it later - weeks, months, years? - to steal your identity or access any or all of your accounts anywhere!
THEY can now order a copy of your birth certificate because you gave them EVERYTHING they need to do that online themselves! They are not real government employees!
THE REAL ONLINE ADDRESS IS:
(state you were born in). GOV example ALABAMA.GOV
Then you find a list on there of all services and you will find a link to vital records where you can order a copy of your birth or marriage certificate.
They doing illegal stuff, just change your card number and report them to better bureau or if you have time on your hands just sue.
Seems really easy so far, but would be nice to know what the time frame is as to when we can expect the certificate.
I placed an order for my birth certificate with Vital Records online 1/25/2020 and received application 1/30/2020. My application was notarized and sent back along with an official check for $15.00 which was redeposit back into my account due to be void over 90 days. Vital Records status was received on 2/03/2020. As of today 7/11/2020 I still have not received my Birth Certificate. On 6/29/2020 I called the phone number on this website and was told to call another number which was Vital Status Records. I called Vital Status Records and the customer service asked for my order number and when I gave my order number, I was told that they don't use those order numbers because it's a 3rd party website. So, I had to reorder for another Birth Certificate on their website which was much cheaper and as of today 7/11/2020 I have received my birth certificate from Vital Status Records and not Vital Records Online. Since Vital Records online was not helpful at all and I paid $60.00 to use their services. Then, I am entitled for a refund of $60.00 back. Yes I am happy to get my birth certificate but it was not through Vital Records Online and it is the principal about the whole thing. So yes I am entitled to my refund.
I paid $47 for my son's birth certificate and I get NOTHING! NO email no NOTHING! Now I have to wait an extra month to sign him up for school! DO NOT USE THIS SITE!
Avoid at all costs! No way to get ahold of them. Misrepresenting themselves by saying they can help you get copies of birth certificates.
Paid forty bucks and so far have been waiting thee months. I need the birth certificate for a passport.
Stay away from them. They do nothing but take your money and then disappear. They do send back an order id but that is all.
A very handy service. Used it twice and all went smooth and perfect. It does take time so be patient.
Horrible service no customer service support at all long wait time not recommended run! Tried to contact many times no response or phone support
I was very nervous with all the documentation I had to do for my father's funeral, I was overwhelmed by everything.
Answer: SCAM. Check out the review I posted. I am not affiliated with Vitalchek but that is the company I meant to use and ended up paying to use anyway. So I bascially paid twice for the same service because of these scammers.
