Vital Records Certificates

This website is a scam. I still have not gotten my birth certificate after 2 weeks. What website does not have a phone number to get a hold of someone? B/c there was no number, I emailed them. They emailed me back basically with instructions asking for more personal identification documentation and more money. I'm definitely going to put a police report on this website and make my bank aware to get my refund. I wouldn't be surprised if the good reviews were written by the people who created the website. Pathetic trying to rip people off. Karma is on it's way.

I legit just got ripped off! I thought I was filling out paper work to get receive my daughter's birth certificate, plus one copy. They even charged me for the extra copy $47.00 I get an email where they send me back a pre-printed one page form where I have to mail it in and pay the State for the certificate AND a copy. THUS, for almost $50, they put my kid's name on a piece of paper! I don't even know how this company is still in business! Please do not get ripped off like I just did!

They take you money you expect the Certificate to come from them BUT no, $#*! then tell you you have to go the the California Heath Department where they charge you $25.00 more and if I had gone there the first time all my Bcert would have cost is $25.00. Now it's the $48.00 these bastards ripped me off for AND $25.00

I got fed up with their games and did a fraud alert with my credit card company. They had to cancel the card and send me a new one but I got my money back

I needed to get a copy of my sons birth certificate and was told I needed to order it through the state because he was adopted.

I submitted application through them over a month ago, and requested it be expedited. Now, I still haven't received it. I am out the cost I paid to receive a document, and I am very uneasy that I provided very sensitive information to such a scam company.

There is no phone number to call them. I did receive an email stating they are approving the refund that I demanded in the form I sent.

Skip this website and save yourself some grief.

I thought I was in vitalchek to order my docs. Stupid me for not paying attention. They basically put your responses in a form for you to print out, notarize and mail in with a check to cover the cost for your records. I paid $40 to these jokers and vitalcheck is $37.95, which covers the cost of the document, it is electronically submitted and you get your docs mailed to you after processing.

I'm so pissed at myself for falling for this crap scam site that makes them look like vitalchek.

It's high time that someone tells the truth. Sometimes circumstances are different for each person, but what I know is that I have my vital record. That's why I decided to write about my experience. I see that some people had problems with that, but that wasn't me. This company did a great job, they fulfilled my emergency, as I was in a rush to get my birth certificate. But there's also a but. Apparently, my document was about to arrive late Monday but it did on Friday. This kind of pissed me off, but in the end, it didn't complicate my situation.

I googled birth certificates online and this showed up in the search results, what seemed legit at the time wasn't clear to me until AFTER I already paid them. They just fill out an online PDF form for you and send that to you, it's still up to you to print, notarize and mail to the vital records office at whatever state you need your certificate from. It's a total sham! I've completed a request for refund, we'll see if they refund me or not.

On Jan 2020 I paid the 47.65 administration fee to Vital Records and the 15.00 fee to the state of New York for my certified birth certificate. The web site stated that it could up to 16 weeks to receive the document. It's July 2020 and still no certificate. After holding for almost an hour a spoke to a rep to request a refund and was told that I could not receive one because my application was more than 120 days old. I was given a number to call that did not address my concern. Why say it takes up to 4 months to receive a document and then say you can't get a refund after 3 months? I placed another order with VitalCheck! Will be contacting the Better Business Bureau!

Phone number is 917, a New York number, the contact trace done by Navy Federal Credit Union was Barcelona, Spain. A week later from payment, I saw an email in my spam, the email which the links dont work and phone number resorts you back to the online sight. Absolute scam.
