We have been waiting 6 weeks for our marriage license. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. We requested a refund last week and it hasn't happened. JUNK! That's about all I have to say.
Just go to your vital statistics office and get what you need. Save yourself time and money. Literally all this website did was send me a pre-filled page of my information that I could have easily done. It was misleading. I thought my certificate request was processed through here and sent. It is not. You still have to send it to your state and pay the fees with them. You're literally giving them money for nothing.
Don't waste your money this place takes forever to send your birth certificate. I sent in all my doc on March 1 and on March 23 they sent me an email saying My certificate would come at the end of May! I ordered my sons birth certificate from vitalchek and it took 3 business days! I paid the same price and it's the same city! Order from vitalchek they update you on every step. This place is terrible! 3 months is ridiculous! Wish I would have read the reviews before I ordered.
No one in there right mind would pay $60.00 for what this company offered. The company does not do anything but mail you a pdf form which is available for free and in addition you will have to pay the real company that actually does the certificates money. This should be illegal. These people are just preying on people.
This is a service that sends instructions on how to go about requesting records. They do not request records on your behalf, and their fee(s) do not include the cost of records. I placed an order an hour ago and when I received the confirmation email, I fully understood that there would be additional fees from them and/or the state where I was requesting records. I requested an immediate refund, and will edit this once I receive feedback.

I was perplexed about the online application process. I have to say that the customer service follow-up helped me to get through this. It was nice to receive a quick reply, even when it took four business days to get my document instead of two days.
Based upon the information I supplied to Vital Records, I received a completed PDF form for a fee of $47. I was then instructed to send this form to the State for processing. I found out later that the same PDF form is available from the State for FREE. Vital records is nothing more than a form preparation site. No birth certificate is supplied. I have requested a refund. Let's see what happens!
Before finding this company, I was in trouble. I lost my passport the week before traveling on my honeymoon. I was in need of a copy of my birth certificate to get a new passport. I ordered my copy through this site and I told them that I needed it asap. I thought that I would receive it without 2 business days, and in fact, I received it in 4 days. Apart from that, they did their job.
It was fine. I got it done. Not exactly sure what I'm confirming that I received. I got an email confirmation of my order for a birth certificate but have not received application yet.
I believe everything went smoothly I hope I guess I will find out when I received my certified copy of my mother's death certificate my name is Ralph wise since I do not have ID I am doing this in the name of my little brother Edward James wife of Charles Town hope this is acceptable

If you want to stop losing your time, I would check out this service.

Initially when navigating site I thought I was on correct site to order birth certificates, but actually they are just collecting information and generating pdf only. You will still need to submit actual form and fee to us gov for you certificate.
I've been waiting close to a month with no way to contact this company unless it is by a survey on the bottom. Sent in a couple still have not getting any word back on my birth certificate. Very upset about this now I have to go and try to do it again and get my refund back. Such a waste of time and money!
This is a "preparation service", not someone who can actually get your birth certificate. DO NOT pay the money- you can go to your State's department of Health and do the same thing for 1/4 of the price. I unfortunately did not see any of these reviews before they got me for my $47, sent me a printout to send into the Health Department, where I still have to pay their fees. Total scam/. -ST
How can these people even be online? I just paid them $47 to email me a form that I had to print out a form and then send with another $25 to the records hall. Such bull$#*!! I am reporting fraud to my card company.
I paid $42.00 for them to tell me how to apply for the Pa birth certificate. It's a pure rip off! Be Aware! BBB should crack down on these people. Always someone looking into your wallet.
Like everyone else that has used them they are a complete SCAM. Why our government hasn't done anything about them amazes me. No matter what the cost I will contact an attorney and file a lawsuit. They will have to pay for court cost and my attorneys fees and refund my money and pay me punitive damages. Maybe that will shut them down.
