Viber for me is a convenient app to keep in touch with many people. However the connection quality during calls could be better and would be great if they had an opportunity of the message encryption, however the last one is just my dreams..
Much more to my suprised that this messenger app has a lot of features the i did not expect to have! It pretty easy and user friendly interface, gets you notified on new messages and calls instantly (if connected to the internet) other apps tend to notify you 10 mins after it was sent and Vibr makes sures that you get notified instantly. It has most of features of any messenger apps such as video calls, and also could possibly sync your contacts if they've ever been registered or have Viber installed in their phones.
Lately viber became my main source of calling my friends abroad over skype - it really has good sound quality now and moreover - good noize reduction. The app just needs a conference call function, really.
I have family and friends all over the world so keeping in touch used to be rare due to the enormous costs.
Thanks to Viber I can stay in touch with my nearest and dearest as often as I like. My mother even learned how to use it.
Yes, we experience glitches from time to time, but considering how often I we use this great app it's not really an issue.
Tricked me to buy a service that I don't need. They don't help to resolve the issue and play stupid. I did try so many time but no result. To fast to take the money no way to refund or at least put it where I want it In Viber out. It was done I a way to trick you to buy other services
Viber touts itself as being available on your device and also has a laptop version which syncs, but I purchased some stickers back in April and still haven't been able to use them from the desktop. They have run me through the gamut of uninstall/re-installs and various other "fixes" to no avail. Then they just stop replying to my requests. Additionally, they refused to refund my money for the purchase of the stickers. While the program is nice, they need to figure out how to make the device/laptop connection truly compatible and give better customer service. I'm looking into other options for messaging. I suggest anyone else, especially if you like using stickers, do the same.
They asked for a copy of my monthly bill when I requested that they temporarily deactivate my account. Sent them a PDF and asked that they keep my details private (bill had my home address on it and everything). Customer rep fired back with "We obviously will keep your personal details private". That wasn't necessary.

If someone complain about spam they must have to study about it they must have to ask proof of spam with the reporter we are using this viber for business and in business there is many competitor maybe they can complain like i am spammer viber must have to improve their service its too much weak for customer customer service i am one of unsatisfied customer of viber company i hope they will review my request and unblock it as soon as possible

Viber customer service is useless, I have issues connecting my viber account to pc so I wrote them a message, in my first ticket I stated that reinstalling viber didn't work and their first response was to reinstall viber, after telling them that it didn't work they just stopped answering. So I wrote another ticket where i stated multiple times that reinstalling didn't solve the issue but guess what? They told me to reinstall and again, stopped answering. I don't think i've ever encountered such bad customer services
Do not use this service. I downloaded it on my phone, and it is constant problems. The person can't hear what I'm saying on speakerphone and I have to yell. The calls constantly drop out on the internet connection thru this service. I had to call so many people so many times over and over again to get through. WHAT A FRICKIN' NIGHTMARE! They should be shut down and put out of business due to the shoddy horrific services.
Someone I know uses this and suggested it. I tried to use this to communcate with my wife over WiFi. She also tried loading in on her S3. Mine loaded then locked up my phone for over 30 minutes "syncing contacts". Viber is the worst company I know which their worst call feature and viber out service. Customer care is stupid and arrogant, I never face such arrogant customer service.
As for me - a great solution for my work processes, fast way to clarify something with people. However used to talk to many of my friends and family too :)
Heard a lot of nice things about Viber before I started using it, and now I experience the joy of prompt interaction with my loved ones whenever the urge arises.
Although its use id free, it doesnt work very well., telephone connections are very poor and disconnect always. No telephone support is available, emails go unanswered.

Here's my Viber review for 2020. Pretty bad for a new user to find out about a week later that your account is being blocked without a credible explanation, other than "we determined that your IP address is being used for spam". It's like "Ok?" But what they apparently don't consider is whether or not you're also on a VPN or ad blocking tools (Viber comes with ads which you apparently can't opt-out of, meaning "tracking"), which could be the root of the problem. This is something that any good product manager or engineer would have (or should have) thought of to avoid pissing customers off automatically and without any human contact or evaluation to avoid making such a blunderous mistake. Also calls into question account security if it really is encrypted(?) Secondly, there is a way to use Proxy settings within the app to help users overcome this. The only problem is that it appears that they provide no instructions or support for how to use this feature, which would presumably enable users to overcome the accusation of IP spamming, esp. For a brand new user. Great big "DUH?" Doesn't seem to have great support whenever things like this happen, as in some sort of an email check-in to see if it's really you that is the source of the problem, or to create a simple button that says 'Yes, I'm on a VPN' or to send people simple instructions on how to use Proxy settings. Overall impression is that it's yet another tech company that is run by children, and is not a customer-first company. If you have important work to do for work, you'll probably want to search for a more credible VOiP provider. I wouldn't rely on this one. Blocked on both desktop and mobile app.
