I tried to book an appointment to submit Schengen visa application from Singapore, but it didn't work. I called and told them my problem with print screens, they said their website was still working well and asked me to try different browsers and clear cookies, history, etc. I followed their instruction, tried different ways again and again for three days, still could not book the appointment. I begged them to give me an appointment after sending them my passport scan. They kept telling me that I have to book the appointment BY MYSELF through the website which didn't work. A b*** sh** service!
The f**ckers (pardon my language) charged my card 25$ for some website issues on their own end! I don't know why do we have to go through this middle agent than directly dealing with the government officials. Its all BullS**t, I am really pissed by their services.
Pathetic service. Online labels don't work. They charge about $2 to call their customer service. Unbelievable how their management sleeps at night. Unfortunately, there is not much one can do either. Cry, yell or Beg - Do it on your own dime
Customer service is very bad and it really sucks. They have no clue about my questions about indian Passport surrender. At the end of the call, he simply said send an email to so and so address and they will get back in 48 hrs. To tell this, he literally took 10 mins and costed me $25 (They are charging $2.48 per minute).
I never saw a service provider who charges customers for support calls. How can someone change money for enquiring application.
I have used VFS visa application centers multiple times. In one recent experience I used their premium package and the staff member who handled my application some how did not submit my travel medical insurance. Thus, my application was declined.
I have noticed multiple time the staff are rude.
The London Branch is really good in comparison to Manchester! The Manchester branch should learn from the London branch. The staff (booth 1, appointment at 9 o'clock)in lvl 3 Italy visa were kind,polite and understanding. She genuinely helped me and explained what other documents I needed to get. Incredibly smooth process.The waiting time was really reasonable 30minutes. Whereas in Manchester it was 3 hours.
1. The VFS center itself is not professional. You have to struggle to find an appointment
2. The VFS is not equipped. More than 50% of counters are empty from employees and people are waiting.
3. Applicants get cheated. I applied for Schengen and I was informed by employees that It will take 15 calendar days. I booked accordingly tickets and hotels.
After 15 days, they are informing that it will take up to 30 days so all my holiday plan was messed up
4. This is like a fish market, not an appropriate visa center
Company do not accept shipping labels other than UPS but if you use their service, they will use the FEDEX. They will come up with stupid reason to reject your application and way to contact them is using email (Where they will ask for all the documents one by one which you have already submitted with the application), Pay phone service is another option but first you will be asked to enter credit card and even though they say hold time does not count towards free time per week, customer service Rep. Will take their sweet time to search for the information and your times up. What a rip off!
I was highly impressed with the service I received at the VFS.global Service office located at 1025 Vermont Ave, NW, Suite 302, Washington, DC *******. Special thanks to Mr. Wellington J, who was courteous, very professional, and helpful in answering my questions with clarity regarding the passport renewal process. Everything was handled swiftly, as I received my passport within a week from the time I submitted the application. The two ladies at the window, namely Reene (spg?), and Kusum were very polite and pleasant as well. I was completely impressed with their professionalism and customer service. Thank you, Anu Batra
I am written emails to VFS, however no reply other than automated mails. Automated mail says that VFS will revert in 48 hours, however no revert.
Even no response from call center. Spoke with Chetan, Wilfred, Sumedh over 15 mins each. All promised that I will receive call back from the Case Manager. Regret no revert.
Who designed this website? Even a 5 year old with minimal experience of HTML can do better job.

Completely inefficient. They take weeks to respond or put you on hold for hours. The staff seem clueless. The management of this company that charges so much money to process a visa should be ashamed.
0 online services, very poor customer service. Can't book appointments either log in the portal 2 time. Bring back postal service to make citizens life easy. India has gone on the moon, vfs is still decade behind. Indian citizens are suffering not foreigners. Look into it.
I am sure if you are here you have read other reviews or felt first hand how inconvenient this process is. Not only are their customer service reps poorly trained in assistance but you have to pay for the terrible service itself. Email them? Sure just fill out a questionnaire asking for every detail possible. Incredible that they have the audacity to act like it is the customers fault when an application gets rejected. The gov sector in charge of this business should cut ties, I believe there is no way an overhaul of any size could possibly fix all the issues with the company. But of course it is the only option.
The sole purpose of this company seems to be to extract money from visa applicants who do not have any other option. They provide such pathetic service, it reflects very badly on the country using this company. As an example, they charge money for uploading documents. For uploading documents! Their instructions are written with horrible grammar (5th grader writes them I suppose), is very contradictory and often downright does not make sense. They have the same instructions with slight variations in 10 different places. Which one is right? Nobody knows... I am seriously considering suing this sorry excuse of a company.
Website keeps on giving me "time-out" error, and when you finally finish typing and answering one million questions, the website just logs out automatically. Vfs reverted to me saying photo sent to them for kids passport reissue was not acceptable and when uploaded again they reverted saying it should be in dark colors when they had no problem using a white shirt photo for visa a year back.
After next attempt of uploading when I called asking why there is no. Change in status or any reply with reference number they are prolonging asking when and how we uploaded new photo.
25 $ total for 10 min call including waiting period + 20 $ for photos is robbery
Sadly it seems VFS has a monopoly on visa applications. Which is a shame. Their website is terrible, no details and vague info regards premium packages. No helpline and no help offered at the centre. Apparently sent out passport back via courier, refused to give us details of tracking-still waiting after one week. Truly terrible customer service
Don't be fooled if they said they are trusted by Emirates & Dubai immigration. What they really care about is making money at expense of their customers.
UAE temporarily suspended visas for 13 Nationalities & I inquired 2 times if my visa can be approved. They assured me they can process & guess what I applied for a visit visa after booking via Emirates & on the second day my application got rejected without any reason. They could have not accepted it or told me to wait until visas open but they didn't & I lost about 850 AED.

Charged me twice for OCI card and still did not provide the service and on the top they charged $50 for phone calls which gave bull sit answers. Folks there have no clue what they are doing. If you don't need OCI stay away and just be done with multiple entry visa. I fighting for those charges through my credit card company.
