I requested the name of the manufacturer. Here is the chat message history below. Disturbing that they won't let the customer know the name of the manufacturer for the items they sell. I also love how they just ended the conversation. Should be an easy question to answer and makes me wonder why they are hiding this information. Maybe they need to be investigated. I may look into that. If I don't, somebody will eventually. Playing with fire Vermont County Store! Now for the Yelp review and BBB review.

I purchased soup from here, buy 2, get 1 free. They did not send the free jar. No help from sending an email. I spent $140 and did not get free shipping. I am done with this store.

Last Thursday 10/21/2021 I ordered two bags of what I always called soda crackers from the Vermont country store order # ******* and they did send me a conformation email and the order was $20.85 and a day or so later and email from them with a tracking # and stated label created and the next day and email stating my order had shipped. Well as of today 10/27/2021 UPS states no pick up and the order is being shipped UPS smart post and USPS does not have the package as i have contacted both of them and i have sent the Vermont country store four emails about plus had a on line chat with them yesterday and was told my order was shipped 10/22/2021 but there second email states shipped 10/23/2021. I looked at my credit card statement and they got there $20.85 i had looked at there reviews and i see why there rating is only Two and a half stars. The chat i had with them they were told i will never order from them again and i will call them today. SO" be ware of the Vermont country store they do not tell the truth. UPS still showing no pick up. This review is all true, Linda DeMontigny.

So this store has no clue how customer service works and their 100% customer satisfaction guaranteed is a joke! I bought a Xmas gift of PJs for my sister. Wrong size I returned them and in the return sheet it asks if I wanted a return or exchange. I did an even exchange. Weeks after they received my return I just got a phone call. She said I got your return, we take 7.95 off your return amount for shipping. Ok, not happy about that. I was then told I will get back 62 dollars and she could not put on my card because it is expired. She wanted a new card. Ok, so I figured instead of exchange I was being refunded. So I have it. Lo and behold ext day I had a 69.95 charge on my account. I called looking for an explanation. As of days later that charge went through. So as of Thursday I now paid for 2 pairs of PJs and had NONE! I asked to
Speak to manager( name sounds like carol) who was rude, condescending and trying to turn this around onto me! No apologies just a rude demeanor which was unacceptable to me. Taking absolutely zero responsibility for thir actions! I want a refund of the last 69.95 back and the refund on my original purchase that they have beck in the warehouse! Then the manager hung up on me….I can safely say they in no way shape or form honor any 100% customer satisfaction what so ever!

The Vermont Country Store wanted to know my opinion about the two products I had ordered from them, but then they blocked my review - saying I hadn't disabled my ad blockers. Their site says, "Please disable any ad blockers, which can prevent successful review submission." I've never seen Ad Blockers block reviews on other sites.

I made the mistake of purchasing their Tangee Lipstick and Tangee Blush Compact - which were absolute garbage! They both smelled like they had come from a house of ill repute! I couldn't get their disgusting odor off my skin fast enough! They were made outside our country - and the powder seemed to be ancient! The powder had deteriorated and flew out of the compact when I stroked my brush over it!

I do not recommend buying anything from The Vermont Country Store which poses as having a tradition of quality. In my case, there was not a shred of quality in either of the two items I bought from them. It was just money down the drain! Don't count on them showing negative reviews on their website!

I ordered 2 panels of the Macrame Medallion Tier Curtains. (they are so pretty). I have, in the past, purchased these curtains from another store and the length of the tiers was always uneven. The 2 panels I just ordered from The Vermont Country Store came today and they are both the SAME length! I was so happy to see that the tiers were the same size. I was very worried that they would not be. I also ordered 2 of the Colebrook valances. They are lovely and look so nice in my kitchen. I also have 2 of the Macrame Medallion panels in another window in my kitchen and they are not the same length at all. They came from another store that recently closed. I am pretty picky so I'm going to order 2 more of the right length macrame tiers from The Vermont Country Store. Thank you Vermont Country Store for your great service and for carrying quality curtains.

I received my order in a very timely fashion and I will order from The Vermont Country Store again!

We ordered 3 items. All three were candy. Two of the three were so old that they couldn't be consumed. The gumdrop and assorted cream drops were old and not edible.

Followed their instructions on return. Still waiting, my money is being held hostage.
This company is a sham.

I ordered a gift for Christmas that never arrived. Two emails to their "customer service" received no reply.

Order cancelled, have to chase refund as they sent me no email. AVOID AVOID Wouldnt trust them with anything.
