Sleeping the same, my other bed is also a Verlo queen size, new is the same except a king. So having the same great sleeping experience and now any guests we have will sleep well in the guest room! Extremely happy with the product!
Having an adjustable bed helps my sleep apnea and minimizes acid reflux. Tate Stelzer was very helpful and patient with us as we tried to pick out the right mattress and foundation for our needs, now that we are both in our mid-70s. The split-king hybrid mattress and adjustable base is proving to be a perfect combination for our individual requirements.
Suggestion: Hard to find fitted sheets for the thicker mattress and the bed is more difficult to make.
The new V5 mattress is more comfortable than the 20yr old Verlo pillow top I had. That said, I am amazed the previous Verlo lasted so long. All sales reps we dealt with were very professional and courteous(especially Jamal).
I have only owned verlo mattresses. Your salesman in the Racine office was great.
Suggestion: The binding/edge. Ive only owned it 4 months and its caving on the side i sit on while getting into bed. All Other sides are fine of course because i only have one side to enter. For the amt of money i paid for just the mattress i am not happy.
The Verlo mattress I bought is less comfortable than my long-time pillow top mattress I had you discard. What else is there to tell? I feel like I was made a bunch of promises that you didn't keep.
Suggestion: I wish I could go back to my pillow top and that I had never bought the Verlo mattress.
I've been an insomniac since high school. I'm 35 now. I'm honestly sleeping MUCH better and much more consistently. While my sales experience was good, I didn't like that Verlo charges more to get a "matching" mattress and box spring. I won't spend over $1,000 on a new mattress and an un-matching box spring. The sales guy told me about this but while getting a lot of other details about the mattresses, I forgot about that and almost ordered the un-matching one. I honestly would have been pretty upset if I had gotten the odd-colored box spring but, on a second visit to Verlo before finalizing my order, another sales person reminded me of the mis-match, so I caught that before finalizing my order. Again, the sales experience itself was good, but it was a little odd that the v5 is sitting on a box spring in the store other than what I would have gotten without an up-charge.
Suggestion: So far, nothing.
I love my new Verlo mattress and foundation. It is great ! I sleep very well, and sure was, in the market, to buy a new mattress the day I walked into the Verlo store. Keep up your great work. It was a pleasure doing business with you, and enjoy a happy, healthy New Year 2017 !
Suggestion: I have to bring it in to make it softer. We are not happy with the twin based. We're told that we wouldn't be able to tell that it's two bases. That is not true. The based separate. The base moves around too much.
Sleeping more soundly; no backaches! Shopping at Verlo was a great experience and we have recommended you to family and friends.
Suggestion: It is a little softer than I would like, but my husband loves it and no longer snores. I too am comfortable, but I worry that down the road we made need to have it made a bit firmer.
My back still hurts. I still wake up during the night. I still feel like I over paid for the mattress.
Suggestion: I know it's going to take some time still, but the mattress isnt very comfortable. I don't look forward to sleeping on the bed. I wish it was softer.
Still wake up with backaches I wish I could get my money back and try another one from somewhere else . I don't like a mattress with foam
Suggestion: The pillow top I paid extra for cause I don't think it makes a difference. I wish I would have just purchased a cheap one
I had a comfort adjustment done last month....after the adjustment i have come to realize that the mattress was more comfortable before the adjustment.....what if any are my options? Please call ....pat fitten 265-3172
Suggestion: A return to padding that was in place before the adjustment
Sleepy more soundly but awaking to body aches every day. Hopefully its just the adjustment of going from lifetime of coils to foam. If the construction of the sides of the hybrid mattress was built more durable (actually have something to hold onto when rotating a mattress) I would consider choosing Verlo when it is time to replace the mattress.
Suggestion: Had I known ahead of time that a mattress pad heater could not be used on memory foam I would have chosen a different type of mattress. I never have heat turned on in the bedroom hence the mattress pad heater. Which I now have to forgo since memory foam and mattress pads heaters do not work well together.
Your delivery process could be improved. Mattesses should be stacked flat and not delivered with folds and lumps
Suggestion: I miss the ability to make day by day changes to my mattress like I could with my old select comfort mattress
We bought a pillow top and expected it to be softer than it is. My plan is to give it another month and if it doesn't soften up I will be for a comfort adjustment
Suggestion: I regret buying the v5. I should have gotten the v7. Also we bought 2 of the $120 pillows and can't sleep on them. Too big.
Need to stress there's different heights for the foundation which allows the bed to sit lower than most set ups in the store. I had to rebuy the foundation because the set was too high when I got it home.
But, we replaced an existing Verlo. The new one is just as good as was the 20 year old one. Only, thank you
Suggestion: We still like to turnover our mattress. But, we understand that the new technology prevents that.
I sleep so much better on my Verlo mattress than I did on my old mattress. I get deep, relaxing sleep that has been very beneficial to me. I really liked being able to lay on all the different kinds of mattresses before buying. It made choosing a mattress much easier.
Suggestion: I am worried about the handles sewn in to the sides of the mattress. The mattress is fairly heavy, so moving it puts a lot of force on the handles. I try not to put too much force on them because I am afraid of ripping them.
Love the pillow I bought!
Suggestion: The one I sampled was softer then the one I actually got. I find that frustrating. I expect to get the level of softness I ordered. When I emailed my comfort coach about this problem, I received no response. When I tried to call the store to ask about it, I was in hold for about 20 minutes before I hung up. I do warn friends that ask me about buying from Verlo about these facts. I did not buy a cheap mattress, it should be exactly what I ordered. Otherwise, I like everything else about the mattress.
I sleep wonderfully on my new verlo. I look forward to going to bed every night. At this point I am three months with my new mattress and I hope I stay completely satisfied!
