I signed a 2 year contract with Verizon for a specific plan and they have raised my rate with 8 months to go (I think this breaks my contract with them). I left word for a manager to return my call. No one has returned my call. The phone they sold me is junk and freezes all of the time & no remedies through earlier attempts). Every store is a franchise so there is no consistency. Who is Verizon? No specific company? My cell reception is also very poor. I will never sign another contract for cell service. VERIZON WIRELESS TOTALLY SUCKS.
They lied about the services they provide took a 100.00 deposit. I spent over 2 hours on the phone with them.At first they tried to say I never paid it but once I informed them it was with my credit card and I had proof they then told me I would get the money back within 24 hours then they saidv30 days then they said 60. Who know when or if I will get my money back!
I've paid over 12k to this company in 2.5 years... paid off my iPad,... second phone and hum device over a year ago and canceled these services... yet they continued to charge me as if the devices were still active... call after call to customer no service they continued to charge up bill... every person in this company will give a different answer to the same question... fictional charges which they can't explain keep riding the bills sky high along with the fact every time I would visit my local store different faces and names would try to assist me... which means they can't keep employees with very high turnover... buyer beware on this business and enter at your own risk.,, you will be jacked at cell point...
Been on the phone & my computer for the past 45 minutes, trying to get help for a non-standard issue (ensuring service has been deactivated on lost phone...phone was already replaced by Asurion). I can't reach a live person no matter what I do. Their automated POS "customer service" (LOL) interface just goes round and round (since my request is non-standard) and/or disconnects me.
In desperation, I called the sales line and entered new service. Of course, *then* I instantly reach a live person. I explain what I'm going through and ask her help in getting a person who can help me. She says, "sure, one moment" and dumps me right back into the interface.
Once I get this issue resolved, I'm changing services. What a worthless hellhole this company is.
Today the representative of this store replaced a sim card for me because my text messages didn't work. Immediately after that Verizon locked my account and sent email with weird text, like I might need to call their fraud prevention team. The store representative left this at my discretion. I did that and the fraud prevention team asked me a lot of personal questions. Then the lady on a phone lied to me (she lied despite her occupation is to prevent the fraud per se). She told that my account is unlocked and I can freely use it. However, the same day I was not able to use the network again. I called Verizon second time, and another representative over the phone told me, that my account is locked again. He said, the previous lady was not satisfied with my answers and locked my account again (while she lied to me that she did unlock the account).
I have had problems with my phone emails and texts for the last 2-3 weeks. Every problem imaginable ie. Getting text and emails next day, my wife's phone auto dialed me 4 times while we were sitting having dinner not doing anything on our phones. I tried to connect thru the app the told me was good to load onto my phone and it would drop out. Make a call and sounds like you stepped into tunnel with echoing you name it. Try to get ahold of a person and you will see. The only thing they were interested in doing is signing me up to a 3 phone plan. No contract of coarse, but to get discount you have to put phones on small payment monthly, but you're penalized to have to pay full price for phone if you pay phones off early. What exactly is the difference?
Service always drops, as well as internet. Verizon service was amazing few years back. However, for the past few months service has drastically drop and now rarely do I have service. Would not recommend new customers to join and I been with Verizon for the past couple of years and is time to abandon ship.
I have returned 2 devises do Verizon after I have picked them up in Germany. I returned them promptly and guess what they never gave me a credit for both of them because I did not return them on timely manners. I have to pay now $600 for them! Stay away from Verizon
I had Tracfone and could not log in to my account. When I called, you get India, they will not transfer you to the US representatives. All problems started when Verizon bought Tracfone. Avoid both companies.
The Verizon wireless has no customer service number where you can actually speak to a person. They send you to the automated verizon assist around and around in a circle. They don't help you setup your device. I would not recommend going with Verizon.
I recently went to my local Verizon tcc in Thomasville AL today. When I got there there were 9 people there ahead of me and then KIM showed up and had us all taken care of very very quickly. There was another girl working there but she didn't seem to be as fast, helpful, and experienced as Kim. Maybe she is new but I just wanted to say that I only go when I know Kim is there. As an outsider looking in, Verizon has major potential for huge quality management skills waiting to be discovered! Amazing job Kim!
I want to start off by saying I have been with Verizon on and off for over 10 years. They used to be great, but not any more.
I called 4 times this morning, cannot reach a live person.
My phone says not registered on a networks so I can make or receive calls.
I tried the chat. The first person Ed never responded in the chat from the beginning.
2nd chat, CSR would go missing for minutes at a time without notice.
Then in the process of troubleshooting he had me Reset my network connections. What he did not inform me of is that it would DELETE all my saved Bluetooth and Wi-Fi networks.
I have many paired Bluetooth devices, from Samsung watches to my Tesla to speakers and headsets to my cycling computer. Resetting those means I lost all my connections. I lost watch data, watch faces and have to setup 3 watches from scratch, a 30 minute process each.
After all this I still have no reception!
Now 2 hours into trying to get working service and got hung up on during a call transfer.
I was a Verizon customer for 12 years until I realized how much more I was paying them than T-Mobile for the same services…3 times as much. I canceled 2 1/2 months ago yet they continued to remove payments of over $150. From my account. (My bad for not backing out of auto pay before canceling.) After many calls and texts, they refuse to refund anything. Their people just gave me the run around time after time. Finally after 2 months of payments, at least auto pay if off. Will not ever use them again.
I can't get ahold of anyone, I can't stop the charges, can't login to my app. And I am traveling in another country with these problems. My last bill exceeded $300 and I have many more charges to dispute you know, after I can finally make it back to Ohio. These people do not care and I am literally stranded in another country. I do not recommend them at all and I'll never use there service again!
I started Verizon internet about a month ago. I have billing questions. I call the number that's available and press 2. Speak to someone briefly and they tell me I have the wrong department and I need to call a different number. The number given is the same number I've already called in on and have pressed the 2 numerous times. So this has gone on 5 times with no resolution to my issue. Having a chat is the same issue. Does anyone at Verizon know whats going on with Home Internet!
I paid XO communications and Verizon at the same time. Verizon took over XO so I was double paying. When I realized I overpaid $5500 I was told I would get a refund. I sent all proofs and then Verizon stopped responding to me. Total thieves. Now I have to sue them to get back what I overpaid. Disgusting company, they use foreign representatives who do nothing to help when you are in the right.
I've had Verizon for over 2 years. I have always paid my bill, after comparing prices with another company I tried to switch. I got a new sim sent to me and Verizon then locked my phone to prevent me from being able too. My bill is over 200$ a month for 2 lines. So for the past month I've been trying to switch companies and now Verizon wants me to pay a new bill, but you also can't contact them thru the my Verizon because they send you a text with a pin for "identity purposes" even though you already give them the account number and password. So you'd have to reactive their sim card and use their company sim (which will charge you for the month). Verizon is a ripoff and so many other companies have more affordable services. It's a shame Verizon does this as I've never missed a payment and just wanted to use a new cell phone company. When you pay for a phone, you should be able to change companies at least when you pay the phones off without having them relocked.
New Verizon phone took 2 five hours days to finally get it connected to service.
First 3 calls Reps left me on hold for min of 40 mins and never came back to finish call.
Fourth connection was to one of the rudeness service rep I've ever had the experience to work with, finally told him I wanted to speak with a supervisor, the supervisor took my debit card info, billed me, then sent me over to auto pay, which then took my debit card again to start auto pay for the following months.
Had to call back the following day because phone still wasn't connected was told I need to pay for the first month, so hear i go with my debit card again... phone finally gets connected but then I find out I've been billed twice for the first month... Its been a nightmare trying to get them to return one payment with no luck, had to file a complaint with my bank, after 10 days still no word.
Customer service a flat F
I tried to take advantage of Verizons free phone exchange back in June 2022. I have receipts and emails from Verizon stating all went smoothly at that time. However, it is January 2024 and I am still battling with Verizon for NOT doing what they said they would. Your local stores/franchisees have NO power or influence to right a wrong either. Please don't be the next victim of Verizons free phone offer. Bye bye Verizon, I am taking my 8 phone plan ( with $500+ monthly bill) somewhere else. I am sure there will be another class action suit about this bait and switch tactic before long. POSTED: by just a little guy in Westerly, RI
I have been with Verizon for over a year now. Before that, I was satisfied with AT&T for a long time. Few of my colleagues told me they are happy with their service from Verizon. I have had numerous issues since I switched with unstable and spotty connections. It's especially bad when I get out to the more remote areas and at this point I am ready to swith back to AT&T.
Answer: Go to My Verizon, click the 3 bars at lower right. In drop down menus hit contact us then schedule a call. They will call you about the time you scheduled a call-back.
