Do not buy these cards they are used by scammers I never used my card and when I went to use it my balance was almost nil when I tried to dispute it they take all the info and tell me it will take 30 days and I will have a card sent to me it's been over 2 months and did not hear a word from then so I give them a call o no sir we are still figuring out what to do even tho the guy that stole my money had his PayPal info on there not to hard to track him now they say it will take another 90 days next it will be 6 months then a they are scammers i left looked into it and several complaints about them all saying same thing money was gone before you even use the card DON'T BUY THESE CARDS UNLESS YOU DON'T NEED YOUR MONEY

I got a 50$ gift card. Purchased 40$ off of Amazon. Only received 1 of the items because the rest declined on Amazon… and now customer service is saying that I never purchased from Amazon…. They basically owe me 40$… don't ever buy these cards…

Vanilla Gift Cards are the worst. You can use it as a partial payment, because your purchase will get declined. If you have a small balance on your gift card, you basically have to have the exact amount as the balance of your purchase. Or you have to try and pay with a different form of payment less the amount of balance on your gift card.

NEVER BUY VANILLA GIFT CARDS and give them as a gift!

I have contacted this company twice in three months to try to resolve my problem and I still have received no resolution. I bought a five pack of $20 vanilla cards from a dept store. I didn't realize they needed to be activated until we tried to use one. I have since tried to activate and when I called customer service I was told to send a picture of my drivers license along with the front and back of each card and proof of purchase. I have sent this twice now and they still do not work and I have not received word from them. I will never buy this type of card again.

I USE THESE CARDS TO PAY TAXES FOR CRUISES, INSTEAD OF USING MY DEBIT CARD. I PAID ALSO THIS TIME FOR THE ROOM UPGRADE AND THE CRUISE WAS CANCELLED. ROYAL REFUNDED THE MONEY TO THE CARDS AND THIS COMPANY IS NOT PUTTING THE MONEY BACK ON THE CARDS OR SENDING ME A NEW CARD, THEY JUST DENIED MY CLAIM. IT'S BULLCRAP. THEY'RE RUN OUT OF ANOTHER COUNTRY, THEY DON'T SPEAK ENGLISH AND WE'RE ALL BEING SCAMMED. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY AT ALL.

I was given a card for my birthday for the sole purpose of my games and your company denies it! What the heck! Guess I'm just getting groceries for my birthday. Doesn't say anywhere on the card that it can't be used in this manner! Can't get through to any representative and when I did all they could say was too bad so sad! Have told everyone not to purchase your card!

Our organization bought 4 $20 Vanilla VISA gift cards to hand out as gifts. When the first recipient tried to use his, it had been depleted of funds. He called the customer service number (was on hold for an hour) and was pressed to provide a lot of unnecessary personal information for them to log the fraud complaint. I called the customer service number to investigate and before I got to a human being, I got a recording saying I had won a $100 Walmart gift card (yeah, right). When I finally got an agent, he said he would connect me with someone who could help me, but then he asked if I wanted my free $100 Walmart gift card. I told him, "No, that sounds like a scam." Then he hung up on me! Obviously these people are running scams. DO NOT BUY VANILLA GIFT CARDS.

I purchased a 200$ gift card on 7/6/2023 and immediately my 200$ was taken off the card. I called customer service immediately and was told they would investigate and give them 14 days and I'd have my money back on the card. So I waited 14 days called back and then I was told to email a copy of card receipt and my dl so I did that and waited 30 days called back and still can't get an answer other then to email everything again soooo I did. I called back on 8/28/2023 and now they can't even find where it's even being investigated! So basicly this company stole my 200$

I have been fighting with this company for over 90 days to get a $30 dispute handled. I still had money on the card and they frozen it. They have held my money indefinitely because no one can get a hold of the dispute team. You cannot call them and if you email they do not respond. I have now spent countless hours on hold (min an hour each call) to try amd get a hold of someone that knows what is going on.

I cannot do anything with my card. I hate vanilla gift. I wish i could get a refund but these guys are a scam. Do not buy a vanilla gift card.

I was given a $100 Vanilla gift card and five days later tried to use it for a $10 purchase. Declined. Called the customer service number and was told there was a problem with my card. I was told I would be emailed a complaint form. After I received the form, I emailed the required documentation to the address on the form. I was assigned a case number then a few days later was told a new gift card would be mailed to me within 30 days. That was the third week in June. It is now the third week in August and I have received nothing. I've called customer service three times since then as well as emailed the address on the complaint form. No return email has been received, and the so-called rep I spoke to over the phone told me I should receive the replacement card within five days of my call. Nothing. I would not recommend Vanilla gift card to anyone anywhere any time.

Card, when safety strip was removed, showed an account number with last 4 digits removed--and a whit e line was in its place. I believe this is deliberate to delay use of card and make it too frustrating to follow all steps for replacement of card.

I had the worst experience with this card cant use it for anything not to pay bills not at Walmart and one of my cards didn't work get another brand of card and save yourself a headache and customer service is horrible

Basically got charged a service fee to obtain an unusable gift card. DOES not work with any only merchant as they all require a registered zip code and vanilla no longer allows you to register one, and it gets declined for every purchase I have attempted to make in-store.

BEWARE! I was given two $100 gift cards and I am unable to use either of them! They was purchased at Walmart, when I look them up it clearly says the funds are on the card, however any attempt to use them at several retailers gives me a rejection. Attempting to get ahold of customer service is exhausting and impossible. My next call is to the Federal Trade Commission.

No one helps to get the card activated, and their system is garbage, just cannot be used.
There is no chat option just the Phone and an address so you can sen them a love Letter, this company is a piece of $#*!

Vanilla gift cards are a scam and Walgreens is in on it. I loaded 300 on the card at Walgreens never used the card next day it was 0 balance.
They take a picture of The information on the back of the card and wait for someone to load it
It's either the employees at Walgreens or vanilla gift card company, because the money comes off as soon as you load it! I'm sueing you $#*!ES
