Buy another prepaid card guys I'm warning you right now most of these I buy half of them are glitched and I have to get fixed on the phone and good luck with customer service every time you call you get advertisements instead of people stay away from these get a different card I would literally pay you to buy another card that's how bad these are

My daughter was gifted a $50 gift card for her 8th grade graduation. The money was spent off of her card in another city hundreds of miles away before she even got the gift card. After trying to use it and bringing this to my attention I contacted vanilla gift card and I was told to provide proof of purchase and other supporting documents. Which I did three weeks ago. At this point I have received no communication. I follow up with vanilla gift card and when I call, I just get the runaround and some more waiting time. Will this ever get resolved! I'm literally telling everyone I know not to purchase vanilla gift cards!

I got a vanilla gift card for my daughter, for vacation! I put $300 on this card. My transaction said I placed the $300 on at 9:57am 7/9/16. She didn't use it. She went in a shop the next day to buy a few things and her card declined. I got online to look, and it showed a transaction being made for $300 from Amazon on 7/9/16. It very much sounds like an inside job. So I'm very much accusing the workers of this. Today I called them. Two different people gave me two different stories. So of course I have filed a dispute and they are saying 45-90 days! Really.
Don't waste your money with these thieves! They don't even deserve a rating. Very much in the negative! And their customer service is a joke too!

Rip off and a Half

Got a $100 gift card for my birthday. It had 3 digits scratched off and the security code scratched off too. Called customer service, they were a bit aggressive, but I was sent a replacement. Just activated it, for which you can not in any way use it until it has been activated, and it has a balance of $0.00…. One transaction on my history was 07/05, NOT EVEN ACTIVATED OR RECEIVED BY ME UNTIL TODAY! How do you use a non-activated card entirely while it's being shipped in the mail?!? This is quite the scam, I essentially have a bookmark rather than a functioning debit card. I'm shocked they are still being allowed to sell these traps in stores. I STRONGLY urge every person to completely boycott these cards and to save your money on something else which can be of much better use than a monetary blackhole. Many frauds in Vanilla Gifts.

They freeze constantly. 1st transaction will always be blocked and have to call customer service to resolve it. Overcharges for certain purchases. Better to just cashapp or give the person a check. RIDICULOUS

I got the card and activated it on my computer right when I got home. After that I was to purchase my son's school pictures and in a 5 minute time frame the money was stolen. It was used of pay pal and dog TV. When I filed a dispute it took about 4 months to get the money back. During the review time every time I emailed to find out what was going on it took them 3 to 4 weeks sometimes longer to answer and even when they did all the email said was they received my documents. I called customer service and they said they knew nothing. WORST CARD EVER

My friend bought me a $50 gift card for my wedding and I never used the card because I was trying to figure out what to buy. Tell me why it declined when I wanted to buy a bag of chips off a vending machine and the card declined. I went on the website to check the balance and I had 0.08c left in the card. On the transaction history it has multiple google revenue transactions of 9.99. Never buy this card ever again.

I have been trying to get help with my gift card for months! I bought 2 for gifts. One worked, the other one did not. I am currently on hold, YET AGAIN, for 56 MINUTES SO FAR! I am boiling. DO NOT BUY these worthless cards. They keep telling me they're investigating the problem. I'm done waiting. If I have to call them back again, I'm going to report it as stolen.

I was given a gift card for my birthday and was trying to activate it online, it didn't work so i called the phone number on the back of the card. In order to get to a person, i had to press 1. The person that answered began to ask personal questions about me...not the card. I got very concerned and began to ask him questions about why so much info was needed. He started asking about the card, which i answered and was given a confirmation number and pin. When i went online to check the balance, he had taken ALL of the money on that card! BEWARE!

Nonsense card

Nonsense card. I got $250 of this Vanilla card for my BD. On trying to activate it, I was told the numbers were incorrect. Spoke with a rude customer service personnel that yelled and hung up on me and I have to call back to talk to another person that told me there were no money on the card and they will have to reissue me a new card that will take 8-10 days to arrive. I was asked my name, DOB, address, and phone number. This is supposed to be a gift card not a credit card. I have given out this Nonsense gift card to people several times over the years but this is my first time receiving one and if I knew this is the hassle people have to go through, I would have found an alternatives. I regret buying them in the past but I know now not to ever get it anymore. I think all stores that carry this card should be sued for associating there brand with this Nonsense card. We need to race an awareness for stores that sell this card. I am so pissed!

How is this legal?

Received a gift card for my birthday, Tried to use It fresh out of the packaging and it was declined. Last 4 numbers on the card had been scratched off. Waited on customer service for over an hour. Once I got a person on the phone, she said she would need a copy of my ID, asked for the serial number on the card and then hung up on me.

I am giving a start because there are no 0 stars. The web site does not work, it always says "there is an error on the system. Try again later," so you cannot activate your card nor know exactly the available amount you have on it to spend. I received from friends two of these cards in different occasions, and I have to throw them out to the garbage. Unfortunately, if you are a little bit polite, you cannot reject them when they are giving one of these cards, nor tell your friends that you couldn't use it after all. So these company play with that. Since you cannot spend it and it is embarrassing to tell your friends that they have gifted you with garbage, the company continues this very lucrative fraud. It is so simple as that. Please, don't buy them! If you want to give your friend a $20 gift card, just put a $20 bill in an envelope and spare your friend all these unnecessary headaches and embarrassments.

I received a card as a gift. That person forgot to provide the receipt. The card will not work. I tried to utilize their website for the past 5 days and have been receiving an error message every time. No good. I called and waited for 25 minutes to talk to someone. During our conversation, we were disconnected. Not sure why, I was on a landline. Called again and waited for about 30 minutes to speak with another representative. He told me that the card needed to be activated and I had to send a picture of the card and the receipt (which I did not have as it was a gift). I was then told there was nothing else I could do. This is not the first time this has happen-once before with the only other Vanilla card I have ever received. I am not sure why these are given as a gift. Cost $5.00 to use it, and then this has happened twice. Never has happened with any other gift cards I have used. Scam? You be the judge.

Worst gift card ever. Bought the card for a friend Baby Shower.
The card was never loaded or activated... Called for 3 days and finally got someone who claimed a case needed to be filed. Collected all my information but told me I had to send a email to some *******@incomm... I did that with all the information... The card Receipt DL etc...Days go by and I still hadnt heard from anyone... This is a scam

Gift card scam

I recently purchased a $250 vanilla gift card. For some reason after 3 transactions the card had a hold placed on the remaining balance. I contacted customer service and they told me to send documentation to *******@incomm.com because another individual claimed they had the card and it was stolen. That was impossible since I opened the card directly from the package. I provided the vanilla company with copies of the actual card front and back, photo ID, and the receipt with the serial number from where the card was purchased. That was about a month ago and still no feedback from the company. Contacting customer service is a nightmare also because you generally are on hold for 30 to 45 minutes and then the customer service rep states you'll hear back from the disputes team in about 2 to 3 business days and that was about a month ago. They're essentially useless in helping with your problem. Extremely frustrating. It feels like they hope you'll give up and then the remaining balance never gets claimed. Imagine the money saved by the company if they make it this difficult for every dispute. Even if 10% of the people give up the company saves a fortune. Do yourselves a favor and look elsewhere for your gift cards.
