I normally have a good experience when ordering my textbooks through this website. However, for some reason they would bump books out of my cart if I didn't buy it within five minutes. This made it extremely difficult to shop because I have to buy more than one textbook (and its nearly impossible to get them all in 5 minutes).
Not only that- when I was checking out the boxes for the fields to enter my city, state, and zip code would not allow me to type in them. How am I supposed to check out if I can't even enter in my shipping information.
I used to have great service with this cite- and I recommended it to my friends, but after my experience today I'm not going to use it in the future.
Bought a bunch of textbooks in "alternate edition" aka international version. Supposedly identical material but for 1/10th the price. Assuming everything comes in as expected, 5 stars hands down. Cheaper than anywhere else online.
Waiting for your book might be another issue, but since that is dependent on the individual seller, it is not really Valore's fault, though they do hopefully screen based on feedback. I've only had one slightly bad experience so far, where my book was slow getting here, but in great shape when it did.
I placed orders for books 11 days ago for classes starting this week. I have not yet received them so pulled up the confirmation emails and tried to status each one - only to find out each separate order had been cancelled. ZERO communication was sent to me about any order, and all prices have now gone up for every book. VERY frustrating, especially after customer service wasn't able to provide a single bit of info as to why they'd been cancelled. No offers made at all to help make the experience better, or meet my original prices.
I used 2 different browsers and had trouble entering the City/State/Zip during the checkout process. I remember this happening once before, so I just abandoned my order and purchased elsewhere. This time I was able to use an autofill to fill these fields. If not for that, there is no way to click inside of and enter text into, those fields. Should be a quick fix, but I wonder how many others just give up.

Have used only a couple times but very delayed standard delivery as opposed to other sites. Lists standard delivery and expedited delivery in shipping information options but only seems to give option for standard delivery which is excessive (like by pony express excessive) Prices lower than anywhere else but be prepared to start class without the necessary books in some cases. It Happened to me last semester even after email response from Valore saying I would get delivery by the date I stated necessary to start classes which is why I went ahead and ordered them bc of that assurance before order was placed. Expect delays
Would not have made it through college with out Valore real talk! Only thing is I wish the shipping was not so high but they make it so stress free to get the textbooks you need for class. And even if you dont use them you dont feel as mad because you didn't have to pay hundreds of dollars for the books. This site has saved me at least a grand in my 4 years of school thus far. Best thing ever seriously
ValoreBooks is my 'go-to' place for books. Why anyone pays full price for a current edition textbook is beyond me. I've used the previous edition of text books since I started college. I'm now in graduate school and still find there is no reason to pay those ripoff prices for the latest editions. Keep your money, people!
It seriously doesnt get much better than this. I have had ZERO complaints with this website. They always find the best deals from places that carry higher quality books. Our books have always arrived on time and in very good condition. <3 I am one happy introvert! Lol
I found the best deals between Chegg and Amazon here on Valorebooks, and I'm grateful for the reasonable prices. The only problem I had was during checkout. While typing in my first address line, I didn't know that I NEEDED to make a selection from the drop-down menu of verified addresses that appears. I contacted tech support, and I did get a reply from the support staff the following morning, they had had the tech team look into it. In this meantime a couple of books in my cart had been bought, as I had worried. I proceeded to solve the problem for myself, and placed the order. I think a prompt on the screen that reads "You must select an address from the drop-down menu" would be a good improvement to help people complete their orders.
Although I was able to find coupon codes for ValoreBooks.com, during the checkout session the Promo Code Box is not even listed. This would be the only I had with your site/company. As a single mother, discounts of any sort is a vital entity in maintaining my personal family budget. Perhaps, providing Promo Codes will assist in growth with your company. Nonetheless, Valore provided the lowest cost on the textbook rentals I needed for this quarter (only a few dollars difference, but every penny counts). Thank you!
Ordering from Valore Books was easy. The site has the best prices available for college texts and rentals. They even send you reminder emails to let you know when your books are due back. Free return as well. You can't go wrong!
I placed an order of the textbook on this site for my psychology class like 2 weeks ago. I am still waiting for the book, but I am pretty sure it is never going to get to my apt. Also, I did not receive any payment confirmation or receipt after I finished the payment. What a terrible purchasing experience. P. S: again, I did not receive any receipt so I have no idea of what my order ID is

My first go round, I ordered the wrong book but it was totally on my end and the book was only $8! I can still use it too, so it isn't even all that bad.
I was going to have to spend over $200 on books for college and ended up spending $87. That's a real good deal in my book lol (pardon the pun).
If your apartment or address does not show up on google maps you will have some issues checking out. I have no problems getting mail and packages from other places and my apartment address is not on google maps. This needs to be fixed to make the checkout much much easier for customers.
Overall, my first experience on their webpage was easy to navigate. I was confused when certain prices disappeared but quickly assumed it was due to others buying those faster than I can get to them. Absolutely LOVE the prices, especially since I have to order 4 books for just ONE of my courses this semester. I will update whenever I receive my shipment. I have three books delivered from different parts of the U.S. on standard shipping.

The last book I purchased from this site fell apart not long after opening it-it fell apart from only regular use. No wonder why it was so cheap! I spent all semester trying not to lose the pages that kept spilling out and were no longer connected to the spine
