I have used Valore for my grad school books. I have been satisfied with the product, the delivery and no nonsense return of rentals. Most books are cheap enough that I buy them to use for future reference.
Found the MLA Guide I need for a fraction of the cost--will be back anytime I need a book! So glad to know there are affordable options for books--as a returning, older student saving money is of utmost importance:>)
I placed my order and they cancelled my order. The email they sent me to notify my of the cancellation was marked as spam. I didn't even see the email until I am behind in all of my classes wondering where my books are and just happened to check my junk mail. Yup, there it was. Now I am behind in all of my classes and they couldn't even resubmit the order, I had to go in and manually resubmit it myself. Awful.
I love Valore books and they are my go to for all my text books. Since I buy anywhere from 6 books a semester I wish I could create an account so that my information could be saved every time I buy a book, and it would be easier for me to look up where my books are in transit than having to go to my email account and find the tracking number.
Just placed order but it was the best price on the internet. Found through www.gettextbooks.com. Web site is easy to navigate and checkout is fast and easy. To early to evaluate delivery, product and return.
It was a great pleasure to access and use ValoreBooks for my college course material as it presented the most inexpensive costs and comparisons with other sites. Also showed me the new and used comparisons.
This is not only looking out for my education but looking out for my thin pocket and still trying to make the best educated selections for my coursework. I will keep ValoreBooks bookmarked as one of my Favs and the first source for further coursework material.

I asked the chat person (Paula username) to clarify if "alternate edition" means that edition number of the book may differ (3rd ed. Or 2nd ed.) or if it means that it may differ just in terms of 'teacher' or 'international' edition only. He/she said he cannot elaborate and said that i shouldn't buy the book if i have doubts like that. I am a fan of valorebooks but the fact that a simple clarification could not be made by their chat customer representative is disappointing. This is my first time trying chatting with them and the chat-person did not sound friendly. Not good customer service.
After a nightmarish experience involving Amazon rentals, I found this site through Google Shopping, and while it is a bit more expensice, I still am saving so much more monry than if I had tried to buy this particular textbook elsewhere. Let's hope this one ships on time.
Found book I needed it was fast and simple and I was desperate it was also afforable and easy to navigate the website. I am glad I had a good and easy website to find my book I needed to be ready for college
Trying to put in my appropriate house address was not working. My address was not showing up under the official USPS way to type it. In the end I ended up utilizing some bizarre notation. It wouldn't let me put in my state, city, and zip code otherwise.
Finally, I had it work on the Firefox browser only to find I couldn't submit my information? It just wouldn't work. Nothing would happen. I had to submit my order on Safari for it to actually process and go through. I have been attempting to buy this same book from here for 2 days.
The best thing I can say is that the book was at the best price available which is why I went through the trouble.
I just ordered a book from ValoreBooks. However, the last book I ordered titled, Abnormal Psychology 7th ed By Barlow@ Durand arrived in good condition, like new but, was missing some pages. The pages were not torn out of the book, perhaps this was a printing issue on the side of the publisher.
At first I was pretty hesitant to order anything from this website considering that it was my first time, but I DO NOT regret the purchase I made. The item in which I ordered was not only accurate, but included fast shipment. Overall, my first-time experience was amazing and I hope to continue to receive the same quality of service.
This is my first time using ValoreBooks. I was thrilled with the price that I was able to find. Checking out was a little annoying because the site wouldn't let me type in city, state, or ZIP code info--I just had to cross my fingers that Google autofill had the correct addresses to pick.
Valore Books had the best prices for the used math and science books this year! It was super easy to search for them, and along with shipping and handling the prices couldn't be beat! I'll see how their descriptions stand up against the books when them arrive.
I bought a book but the seller canceled on me ValoreBooks did not email me to notify me about the cancelation. If they would of emailed me saying that that the seller cancelled I could of reordered it right away. I have to wait another 2-4 days. They usually do better but not this time.

The order form would not let me fill in the city, state and zip code of my billing address so the system would not complete my order. I searched for contact information for the company to help resolve the problem, and the description on the page said that chat was available 9am-5pm EST. I was trying to contact them during those hours, but there was no chat window. And no phone number to contact anyone.
They said they issued me three different checks on Oct 30th they were sent out, still have not received anything. I really wish I would have researched them more before I sent them all my text books! I am so disappointed. I should have realized when they weren't publishing a phone number that its a hoax. I plan on reporting them to the BBB!
It would have been nice to ship some books together to save on shipping OR have some sort of discount on shipping. Anyway, I like Valore because it is easy to use with good prices and have used it for 3 semesters now.
Me and boyfriend sent them all of our textbooks in excellent like new condition and they kept them all, said they were "rejected" with no explanation. They are keeping books and not sending any money! I am soooo upset. There is no phone number for them except a voicemail I found in another blog. DO NOT SEND THEM YOUR BOOKS! Does anyone know of anything we could can do to get our books or money back or shut down this company? This is not right and cannot be legal!
