I have been using valore to rent and buy my books for over a year now and it is by far one of my favorite rental sites out there. It is easy to use and the prices are great. I have also never had a problem returning my books it is very user friendly.
I've bought by books for 2 semesters, and never had a problem. I order the books, they send them. I have rented textbooks as well, and I appreciated their label being available, and plenty of warning as to when they needed to be returned. I sent them the day of, and that was it.
Do NOT buy from here. We purchased 2 textbooks over a month before classes were to start. One never showed up. The other book did not show up as described. The description: Horngren's Accounting, the Financial Chapters, Student Value Edition Plus MyAccountingLab with Pearson EText -- Access Card Package. There was no Access Code included. We paid $99. When I called they said it says in the fine print "may not include CD, etc.". It does not say anywhere "access code is not included." I pointed that out. They do not care. We had to pay another $84 to get the code elsewhere. What a joke!
They had what I wanted and charged me a descent rate. When I looked up thi book on another site, they jacked their price up because it was the last book that they had. The price went from $15rental to $58 rental, and that really SUCKS!: (
This is the second time I have bought textbooks from Valore. Every time the service is exceptional and the prices are excellent. I just rented a book that was $16 cheaper than amazon and close to $31 dollars cheaper than the college bookstore. This site is consistently better than any other site. I always recommend Valore Books!
They goofed by not processing my order correctly first. Then, they wouldn't answer my emails until about the 3rd one. Its almost a month later and still nothing. Horrible communication, horrible customer service, horrible experience. Go with eaglesaver.com WAY better
Your system incorrectly filled in my shipping and billing address and I was unable to change the city and zipcode to correct for your errors. Please allow customers to enter in their own addresses. Thank you.
I've never had any problems with Valore Books. I always get my books on time and it's super cheap! I always recommend it to all my friends. And if the books don't come in time, I usually just borrow the book from my University's library and scan the first few chapters. It's really not a big deal. Idk why everyone seems to be complaining. Valore Books has always worked great for me and everyone I recommend it to!
Ordering my college books thru ValoreBooks was so very quick and easy. Just locate your books using the ISBN number, add them to your cart, and complete your order. It's that easy and the price is awesome! College is way too expensive as it is, you don't need to overpay for your books.
This site is great - no muss no fuss. I was able to navigate easily, find what I was looking for, and realized what an incredible deal I was getting. I saved at least half of what I would have paid on campus. Good experience!
It wouldn't let me enter my school address so I had to send it to my home address. Just annoying because they may not get here before I leave for school. It would be nice if I could have just sent it to my school. Other than that the books are a really good price.
I ordered a book for over $100 for my son's college course. Valore claims it was delivered and it never was. Their response was that UPS was sloppy and to look at my neighbor's house and in my SHRUBS! I have never located the book and they refuse to answer me on any level. I will NEVER buy from them again and I hope you don't either. Textbooks for college are expensive enough without having to hassle with this to get a refund.
I did get an ETA in my immediate confirmation email (4-14 business day), I need the book within 10 days so it would've been helpful to know this information before placing order. My wishful thinking is that I get it withing 10 days.
This site is terrible, customer service is a joke that just dance around the issue. They dont care about you or your problem. Seller has 48 hours to accept order then 24 hours to ship it. I contacted the seller at 120 hours to cancel my order since my class started a week ago and thats how behind i was. Seller reads my message ignores that i want it canceled and creates a shipping label at 144 hours. At this point Valor books says the order is shipped (even though it isnt! Tracking number shows that only a label was created which can be done online) my book is still sitting at the sellers location and i am now screwed out of my money and probably the book(not that i need it anymore) because i called them all exactly what they are scumbags. Its not that hard to look at the evidence and agree with me but they refused to do that.so in short this site is terrible and i wouldn't in a million years recommend it to anyone.

THe price seems good but you wouldn't allow me to put in a different mailing address and wouldn't tell me the ship date. That's not good. And you have no telephone contact. WTH! Pissed off. But you got my money now!
I ordered a textbook and got it within one week even though delivery date wasn't expected for another week. The book was exactly what I ordered and in good condition at a good price. I'll be ordering another textbook from them.
This is the second semester that I place an order and I thought it was just as easy as the first time. I also enjoy the fact that theres different seller options and it states where the distributer is located therefore helping me understand the time it will take to ship to my location.
The item I purchased indicated that it's a new book and would have the access code for the Connect plus. However when I received it in the mail it was only a textbook without the code. I had purchase the access code seperately, which cost me twice as much. I was very upset with this.
Our apologies for the inconvenience! Industry standard maintains that any used/rented items are not guaranteed to come with supplemental materials. This is due to the fact that many access codes are only valid for a one-time use. Although the title of the book may state that the supplemental material is included, due to copyright laws we as a company cannot legally change the title to say that the supplemental materials are not included. We ask our customers to carefully read the seller's notes to confirm if access codes will accompany their rentals. If these codes are a necessity, we suggest contacting that seller directly by clicking the "Contact Seller" button underneath the seller's notes.
Of course, if a new item is purchased, and the access code is listed with the title, it should accompany the book upon delivery. A representative will contact you shortly to verify your order type and provide further assistance!
Valore books has always provided the cheapest prices I could find both for buying books and for rentals. The books have arrived quickly and in great condition. They are my first recommendation to anyone, and also have the highest buyback prices by far!
Valore Books has saved me a lot of money on books that I would normally spend a fortune on. Definitely suggest this book to other scholars looking to find used books in good condition for the best prices. Kind of sucks you have to pay shipping for each separate book, but all in all the discounts you get on the books leaves ample funds to pay for the additional shipping.
