People wonder why we don't use USPS anymore, but if the service they are providing is so poor, why would we want to use that service? I had a box scheduled for pick up on a certain time and date. WHen I called USPS to inquire about why it was not picked up, I was transferred to 15 people, and one sent me to a USPS office that was closed. The customer service response was, "Read the fine print, cancel the order, and ask for a refund." THat was their help. They themselves don't want to do the work.
Next, the box dimensions and weight was listed on the information. They said they do not lift heavy boxes and would want my elderly parents with back problems to lift the boxes in the truck.
Thirdly, my mother weight 2 hours in AM on the scheduled time, then three hours in the evening outside during the time the office provided us in the cold weather, and now is at very high risk of getting a cold, and possibly pneumonia.
I do not understand why a business offers services when they do not want to do the work. This is why no one wants to use unprofessional, rude, and lazy services. If I could give a negative review, I would give negative points for USPS.

Every time I visit Palmer Lake Post Office I have had excellent, professional service from kind and helpful employees. Also, the place is always spotlessly clean as is the surrounding area.

The US Postal Service is the worst overnight mail delivery service I have ever used. They will not only get it there late but they won't refund your money!

Terrible several

Poor service and keeps getting poorer, I've had a problem with mail delivery getting later and later, when I tried to get some sort of explanation as to why this problem was happening, I emailed support, which is the email address they have on the website, the support person told me that they don't have anything to do with the late mail delivery, and to contact my local post office, which I did, I explained my complaint and problem with the so called supervisor, he just looked at me with this I'm a dumbf**k look on his face and didn't do anything to help me with the problem I was having with the poor mail delivery, and the informed delivery status on my packages, I spent close to 1 hour at the post office waiting to get a answer of I'm not sure what's going on. I'm a US Army Veteran, and when you screwed up, the power's that be would say to get your head out of your fourth point of contact, this is what the USPS should do. They are terrible.

Not receiving any of my packages and packages only! Mail being put in wrong boxes! Boxes don't lock! List goes on and on was told they have different carriers everyday!

Disorganized and slow

I've been tracking a first-class package I ordered from Colorado (I'm in California so only 2 states away). I've been waiting over 4 days and it seems that they've made almost no progress in getting my package to me. They sent it to a distribution center in Washington which is 2 states out of the way. I only live 2 states from where I ordered the package. Made no sense that they sent in 2 states in the opposite direction of me. Now they are saying it will be late, big surprised when they sent it in the opposite direction. It seriously seems like they have no idea what they're doing. Just ping-ponging my package around until to it someday gets to me. It's been a couple days since they've sent it to Washington and there is no update on what they're doing with it now. That's another thing, their tracking updates are very vague so you hardly even know what's going on with your stuff.

I'm sadly going to have to give the shop I ordered from a negative review for choosing to use this service to send their items considering their order came late because of it. Completely unacceptable service from this shipping company.

Certified and Register Letter from STRATFORD, CT ******* sent to Milford Michigan ******* on 2-18-16. Today is 2-29-16 - letter is still in DELVERY. My question is; WHERE?
Called several times to USPS HOT LINE, complained - nothing is done.
Also - 5 x attempted to file compline on USPS website - difficult to finish and submit. You are forced to start from beginning. Going in the circle - typical US Gov. Workplace.
How simple job become a big problem for "RELIABLE USPS". Maybe USPS should call this reliable service - SURE RIPOFF -

Just in the year 2023 alone, I have had 4 packages get lost in transit. Mind you, I wouldn't care if this was a minor post card or junk mail getting lost in the abyss, but that isn't the case. It has been expensive items; cell phones, car parts, car accessories. Stuff you can't easily expect a vendor to replace without putting up a fight. And these fights always seem to get pushed onto the buyer. So what happens when you're tasked to contact USPS? Smh, you're on a long, dark road alone. Phone calls - forget about it. Emails? You may get a reply. Facebook messenger? You'll get a response. But the reps online are of NO help. In person? All they will do is a file a claim. Let them file a claim on your missing package and then report back to the vendor and get your money back or another item shipped to you. It's sad it even has to come to that.

I wish the government would just let the USPS go belly up. America has a way of letting privatized companies outdo their own government. The post office is no exception.

HOWEVER, if you enjoy playing Russian roulette with your packages, USPS is most certainly the route to go!

Never got stamps

I ordered stamps online, I kept forgetting to go into post office…. They never got here yet said delievered a couple days ago. Lost In mail? Given to wrong address? Idk. Not a happy customer

The mailing system is getting so dysfunctional they can't even do there job they keep putting the wrong mail in boxes it's always late the people that deliver the mail should be fired on the spot.

I send a small box as a present to my dad for Father's day to Mexico, I paid more then $70 USD, in Mexico the package was never deliver as they say, my family had to go to pick that up, plus they had to pay more the 500 pesos, honestly I don't understand what Mexico was charging, because the value of the gift cost me no more then $50, I am very disappointed of the poor service. And I would like to know why Mexico charge the whole amount of the product and we already paid in here!

Irresponsibles

Send my daughter and my grandchildren's gifts for Christmas (in October) with a value of 300 dlls, I paid 50 for the shipment and they lost it, I already went to the central office, called USPS 1800 and they only told me that it went to dead mail, terrible service the worst experience, they are irresponsible thieves. (McAllen to Denver)

DO NOT use USPS ship Package to China
June 3, 2022

On May 3,2022, I sent a package to China. The only option is Priority Mail Express International. The cost is $76.20, and it supposes to be 3-5 days. It takes USPS 5 days to send to Chicago Airport and arrives on May 8. After three days of no activities. I called on May 11 to check the status. The USPS Rep informs me this status is normal, and she tells me to be patient. She will open a ticket to escalate my request. It is my mistake not to ask her for a case number. I waited for a week. There is no tracking movement. I called again on May 19; the USPS Rep informed me that she did not see an escalation case open for my package. This agent is kind enough to help me open a ticket and provide me with the ticket number. She did tell me to check back in 12 days. She also said that I could request a refund for the postage since the USPS did not deliver my package to the shipper in a timely manner. After the May 19 call, the package did leave the US for China. The tracking shows arrived on May 22. On June 2, I called USPS again to inquire about my package. This time the USPS Rep is not friendly at all. She said that the problem is not USPS. It is China's hold-up. I asked her why it takes five (5) days to get to the shipper in Chicago Airport since the service I paid for is 3-5 days. It should arrive at the shipper within three (3) days instead of five (5) days. She insists this is not a USPS issue. Also, she said no refunds for the postage since COVID-19 happened. The USPS is so poor that they need to cheat to get funds, and it is no different from a thief. As of today, my package is not yet delivered.

Picture this;
USPS send me an email saying that they need me to correct my address, I look at what they have and it looks correct. To correct what they have you need to create an account with them, as I am creating an account my daughter hands me my mail for the day which includes a post card from them saying that " We are unable to deliver package(s) because: NO SUCH STREET, NOT DELIVERED" DUH, really how did I get this post card? Now I need to drive 15 miles to get my item.:-( sad

Forwarding Mail Procedure
February 15, 2022

How is it that NO ONE at the United States Postal Service can help with a Forwarding issue. Have spoken to over 25 agents whom all told me that samething. They do not know how to deal with mail forwarding and I myself have to do it on-line. Well I do EVERY 6 months and every 6 months my forwarding stops & I can not get help from ANYONE regarding this issue. EVERYONE needs to be retrained.

I was robbed.

On April 3 2019, I was expecting a package from eBay seller J&M Estate Service the package was never delivered in my mailbox but the USPS claimed it was delivered that day but where? Not in my mailbox. I contacted eBay, seller J&M State Service and the USPS but none of them are doing anything to solve the problem. But the worst of the worst is the USPS because they just stick the mail and packages in any mailbox with out looking for names and apartments numbers. I have had lose two packages because of the poor job USPS does. America we have to speak out, I have lose more money on lose packages than on anything else. On November 30,2023 I purchased a package and had no choice on carrier, UNITED STATES POSTAL S__THEADS. Lost my package after camping with it for 4 days, sent package saying shipped to Topeka! Idiots sent it back to Kansas City. Again stating it was sent back to Topeka, This yoyo went on for as I said 6 days. No body has a clue where it's at! Buffoons work at USPS.

I've contacted the post office for the last five days, and now it is over 12 days I can't get my mail because my box was stuffed up to the point that the key won't turn. All you get is the non sense recording... after this endless game, one option to create a case, send the link to you cell. Now you have the. Case you contact the post office both by phone and by email and get exactly the same prerecording option and if you have a "mail delivery issue" and it is not relative to ONE PARTICULAR PACKAGE "sorry, your issue can't be addressed at this time". My mail was not sent to be retrieved at the post office either, I'm totally blocked from getting my mail with no way or resolving this issue and to think that the Post Office get tax dollar money to rip off the public. THERE IS NO WORSE SERVICE THAN THE POST OFFICE. This is a total Bolshevik take over of our freedoms and rights.

They do not seem to have the capability of delivering packages any longer. Then you can not call them and the website just takes you in circles with choices that have nothing to do with your problem.
