We paid $180.00 just to fill out USA passport's applications. This fee does not cover any passport fees. The forms are free and you pay at the post office by check or money order. Don't waste our money.
I was in a hurry. I had seen the real US Govt. Site previously and this one fooled me due to similarities. Shame on me. However, make NO mistake, this site is a SCAM. Google should really do a better job of listing known legitimate government sites first.
BEWARE! 1 day after using this site bank accounts and credit cards were opened in both my and my husbands name. The phone number they contacted us from was disconnected. Not sure if they sell the info or use it themselves but beware.
Like many here, I was fooled by the look of the site and assumed that the money was going towards my passport. No! They do absolutely nothing for you. You fill out the forms yourself, the same forms that you can get online from the US Passport Service, and they send you a pdf of the forms that you filled out. That's it! For $90. Then you have to go to the passport office with your documents and pay for your passport. In other words, you do everything and pay them for doing nothing. Boy was I ripped off like never before.
They charged money for a form I filled out myself online (free at the post office). Since it looked like an official Government site I thought the payment went to the cost of the passport book and this was an official government website. Complete scam and misleading. They now have information with no control over it.
This company is very deceptive, I believe they hijack your browser. It actually appears that you are on a government website, you are not. By the time I realized I was not I had paid them 90.00, I asked for the money back and they refused. They are nothing but scammers. I reported them to the BBB as well as Florida Attorney's General office. On the BBB they have one star, noting but negative reviews.
Wanted was renew my wife and my passport. On Internet typed in keywords, ended up on this site. Thinking it the gov. Renewal process, filled in all personal into, paid $87. Then back to Internet to apply for wife and ended on official gov. Passport site, filled out info on a pdf file. Saw she would eventually pay $130 wonder why mine was only $87. Opps, big mistake. You don't need pay $87 to be told you filled in required planks, plus they provide link to actual pdf form. This site sure looked official with gov. Looking logo and masthead. Beware, this site should be taken down. Won't lett me attach proof of purchase, but they show Form Renewal DS-82, ref. Code: XFSRQ7ZU, date 07/02/23 4:30pm
This website is a scam. I took the paperwork to my local passport office and they informed me about them being a Scam. They charge you for them feeling out the application for you. Not for the actual pp card or pp book. Make sure you don't file to get a passport online. Go to your local passport location. And report possible passport fraud to *******@state.gov to avoid them stealing your personal information and identity.
I needed to renew my passport. I thought I got on a government site. I got charged $90 to download documents for free on the true government site.
I contacted the site and they refunded my $80. $10 was for processing.
They said they are not a scam.
Do not confuse this website with the Government website. The application you complete at this website will not reach or be processed via the actual government website. They will return the application via a PDF file. Inasmuch, its remarkable that this website is still active when so many people have criticized it. I'll be sending a complain to the BBB and the State Attorney's office.
I was lucky enough to be curious to explore the fine print, to my shock they say that they are NOT affiliated with the US government and that they are an independent agency. They charge 90 DOLLARS just to fill out a form and make sure that there are "no errors". Just go to the actual government site that ends with.gov and be on your way.
Do not use this site! They are the worst! Take your $$ and you still have to pay the government fees when you actually apply! If I could give a rating of below one star I would
They follow through with nothing and won't answer phone calls. The web site given is of no use.
Go to your local county government office (auditor) and apply. Much easier, simple and safe.
You can do the same exact thing by just going into a post office that accepts passport applications. Save the money and the stress and do not use this website! They scam you out of your money. They will not give you a refund, even if it is within 24 hours of your reservation. Luckily my credit card company cancelled things before it got too far. Thank goodness I didn't send in my picture, birth cert, etc! A passport is a big deal, don't try to rush things. I was able to speak to the supervisor and she began to raise her voice and yell at me when I was simply asking a question or 2 about their policy. Not a good way to run a business... I don't even think they're service is legit and within U.S. borders.
Not a wonderful company. Promised me completion dates and it became my responsibility to follow up with them. 14 day passport service took over a month. They did refund $50 of their fee, but overall not a great experience.
I wish I saw these reviews before I sent in the order. This site is misleading. I called them immediately and they are still trying to charge a $45 reservation fee. Lucky, my credit card company blocked the payment. STAY AWAY!
SCAM! This website is the first to come up on google. I thought it was a Gov site and that I was renewing my passport book. They charge $70 just for their fee for basically printing off papers that you can get off the legit gov website for free. My bad for not looking more closely throughout their site before giving them my money! So now my passport cost me $180 instead of $110! Beyond frustrating!
I also consider myself cautious on-line but fell for this one. First site on the search. The site misleads that the fee if for the passport renewal. They charged me $90 to fill out a form... could have obtained the form at the post office and completed the two pages in 5 minutes. There is also no contact number to reach on-line, just an email form. I will try to challenge the charge with my back, but unlikely...
Complete scam! Do not use this website. The usps will do it for less money and these people are a bunch of idiots. I called immediately to cancel and was still charged $45. The people were extremely rude and uncooperative. STAY AWAY!
Complete Scam... This is not 1990 anymore. If you live in a regular suburban city, its DOESN'T take 6-8 weeks to get your passport. This company can get it for you MAYBE a week before the government (at their standard rate). Definitely not worth $130 for a week faster (emergencies excluded)... Even if its an emergency, the US government has a $60 expedited fee (half this company's)... Just a complete waste of time and money. USE A ". GOV "
