This website is a scam
January 22, 2014

This website is a scam. They say they expedite but they don't. All you do is fill out the forms and then you have to do everything anyway. If you go to far they charge you 45.00 for doing nothing. After realizing this was a scam I submitted a letter to them within 5 minuted and they just don't care. There customer service is a joke. After submitting more than 4 emails they will not do anything so I will make it my business that no one else gets ripped off.

This is a scam
April 6, 2012

This is a scam. Was trying to renew a child's passport and when I realized that they could be of no help they had already charged my card. I did not even get a confirmation page so I did not think the order had been processed. I called them immediately and they are trying to charge a $45 reservation fee. This is bogus. No legitimate company would treat customers this way. STAY AWAY.

I would not recommend this site to my worst enemy. You are wasting $134, still paying a $170 government fee and $25 postal fee, by using this site and it is sketchy. Why do they need 2 copies of everything when the government needs just one?
I recommend going to the official government site and just filling out the forms and following the directions. It will cost $170 for expedited and $110 non-expedited.
STAY AWAY!

All they do is take the information you give them. Put it on a US passport application & send it back to you to print. Each one of us is MORE than capable of going to the library, get an application & fill it out FOR FREE!

Even though the website is a bit misleading, and I was upset when I realized it wasn't an actual government site, I can't say I regret using USPassportsOnline. It was surprisingly easy and stress free and I had my passport within a month. A phone call and some emails answered all my questions by very nice people. I would used their service again.

"Extremely" disappointed with this service! The original contacting agent provided incorrect information which resulted in my active passport getting confiscated causing further delays. The agent was very rude and confrontational, so I requested to speak with the supversor who was exactly the same! Unprofessional and Inefficient! A complete waste of money ($200).

Yes, it is a scam. No one answers the phone, which leads to some company not even called the same thing. No way in hell am I uploading more documents, I cannot believe I fell for this! I am no novice to scams. This is my fault for not going through the US government official site. I have disputed the charge as they ignored my email for a refund.

Check out all of the 1 star reviews and BBB Warning! The site appears like a government entity to make entering your personal information so easy! They immediately charge your card and you receive no confirmation email or instructions whatsoever. If you don't have anything better do than contact your bank and dispute charges and cancel and renew your debit card... this is the site for you.

I started ordering from this site thinking it was part of the US government. The name suggested that and there was an American flag. I was not in a hurry so I specified the slowest delivery. When I got close to submitting my order I noticed that had added a $35 surcharge for overnight delivery. That's when I realized it was a scam and I abandoned my order. Now they are emailing me to get me to come back and finish. No way!

Had to travel overseas on short notice for work. Fedexed them my paperwork on Friday had a new passport at 9:30am on Tuesday. I was a bit nervous that something would go wrong with the process and called them a few times to make sure everything was in order and they were very reassuring on the phone. The whole operation worked like clockwork. I highly recommend this service. It's not cheap, but this was so much easier than trying to navigate the State Department's system.

Scam
November 24, 2015

They look like the government site I was on previous. I just needed to renew so I thought you could do it online. I had no idea how much it was to renew a passport so the $70 seemed good. After I went through their form, it just sent a copy to my email and said send it in and pay the passport fees. I thought I had did this. I could get the form for free anywhere and send in a check and photo myself for nothing. They let you think they were doing all that for you. I am glad my credit card company takes of fraud like this and will reimburse me. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE.

This is a scam. After paying the fee, I was concerned about the confirming email that provided instructions on how to register a complaint, and a link to their terms and conditions. They clearly anticipate complaints after fees are collected and it becomes clear what they do NOT provide. Also in reviewing the website, there is vebiage in tiny, tiny font that this is not a US website. They are intentionally misleading customers. Avoid!

They answered all my questions quickly and did the job as promised. And went above and beyond due to a mistake I made! It was extremely important for me to get passport and make trip, and they delivered my passport to my door at the last hour!

Awful
January 24, 2019

Awful company. They allowed me to pay for expediting services I could not use until my trip was inside of 2 weeks. After I waited to submit my applications, after going to the courthouse, the agent had ZERO clue what she was doing. She misinformed me multiple times. Then she told me that she had mailed back my applications when she had not. By the time my trip was happening in 2 days she told me to rebook my travels and acted as if it was my fault. I asked to speak to a manager multiple times and was given the run around. Finally, I had to drive to Miami to get the passport done that day. All with no refund or no apology. Really poorly run outfit. STAY AWAY.

Without paying attention, I thought I was filling out my govt form for renwal. There form collected my social security number, my parents, birth dates, names, places of birth, my passport number, my phone and email! At the end, when they give you a summary it states the fee is $70 for the application--guess what the govt application doesn't require this extensive personal info. I have just been a victim of a clever identity theft scheme, this is serious! I didn't pay, they have my data anyway. The form is cleverly interactive. And I will try to report them. Meanwhile, I will carefully watch my accounts. This was my bad. I should have stuck to the govt site. I know better.

They make it look like they are government website and you are paying for passport fee. I paid $144 and after paying they then told me I had to also pay the government fee. I called and their number doesn't even work. I disputed it with my bank.

I abandoned my application when I realized the the $39 fee was to low for a passport and card. I assumed that was just the fee for them to file it. I did all the work filling out the form. They 1st make it seem like you can download the form or fill it out online and download the the for and take it to your post office or wherever you want to file it.

Yes they do make it seem like a government site. When I saw they don't take AMEX that was also a clue for me.
