Customer service rep sounded like he hated his job and had a TERRIBLE attitude. Should definitely get More customer service training or be fired. Terrible experience after being on hold for a hour and on top of that being hung up on twice without ever even talking to anyone human by the automated system. All over terrible experience. But I did get my question answered. GEESH!
It's now been twelve days since the refund was initiated, seven days since the money was debited to the business' account, but I have yet to see it. What could possibly take this much time except blatant and gross inefficiency? I want my money!
This is a horrible company. They have the worst customer service. It takes a long time to resolve issues. They are not user friendly. They are a big inconvenience when it comes to resolving disputes. Its difficult to get anyone on the phone. The automated phone system is very inconvenient when trying to resolve matters. Don't use them. Open a bank account.
Horrible rude customer service my mother locked her card up by putting in the wrong pin too many times we called to get it resolved and the card was still not working they talked to me and my mother like we were dumb after an hour on the phone and 5 different people I finally got someone to help us turns out it was something they were doing wrong on their part if I could give a 0 star I would they need to learn how to talk and treat people with some respect absolutely horrible my mother has terrible anxiety and by the end of the phone call she was shaking and crying
This institution does nothing to accommodate veterans. They're system has gotten worse! They treat you as a second class citizen, and will not budge to make it right. A veteran should be able to access his account at any time, and your system should not be out of commission for veterans, but not your Comerica clients. Something needs to change!
To anybody that uses this card I don't know why I don't even know how Social Security is using it. I'm gonna be calling Social Security on Monday morning because nothing but the runaround with a bunch of foreign people that don't speak English. They've hung up on me several times. I just got hung up on again this morning, this is ridiculous These are my government checks. Foreign people are asking me for my Social Security number all my information and then hanging up on me. These people are getting sued left and right and I want my $450 back.
My son has a direct express card where his disability money goes too the people who work for direct express are thieving ur money and pretending they don't know and saying the can't help you or file a claim. I am asking every one who has a direct express card check ur money daily keep track they be thieving ur money right in ur face I'm reporting them to the news channel and I hope all of you come forward this is not right what they're doing to people money. And I'm removing myself from direct express card and get a bank account open from a trusted bank and leave direct express I repeat do not bank ur money with direct express they are thieves you have been warned.
$600 fraud on card reported 11/22 and was told paperwork was sent out and needed to be sent back by 12/4. Called for three days and was on hold for hours each day to be told the paper was mailed out 11/23/22 but I didn't receive paperwork until 12/7 and it needed to be back by 12/4 so no provisional credit could be given. Was given 8 days to receive and return the paperwork. Horrible service.
Please use another method for federal benefits.
Now possibly I may get my money back in 45-90 days

Especially with the banking issues we have going on. This would be a terrible company to have. I was unable to get a hold of them for a month and a half then when I did online transfer to my credit union so I could write a check for my rent, it processed then the very next day they went and took it back without contacting me still couldn't get a hold of them so I transferred my money in person for my local credit union in closest account out. I wouldn't recommend it to anybody unless they enjoy it, not being able to talk to anybody About their money and having their transfers taken back for no reason except maybe treason lol just kidding about that last part
Direct Express doesn't care about anyone that have to pay for medication, rent or food! They decided to change debt card and now the card is 4 days past the first of the month and I had to put off my bills, rent and medication! As soon as the card comes I'm getting rid of Direct Express and put it in a bank!
This card company allow someone to change my address to steal from me luckily I caught it in time. They allow them to express cards to New Jersey and Utah and charged my card I requested for money back because they clearly saw it was fraud and they denied my request. I have never seen nothing like this know it's fraud and want protect there customers at all when I say run I mean to run do not allow your funds to go here because they are absolutely no help they are worse than the people trying to steal from you because they want do anything about the situation or protect your funds
This company is a joke. You can't get through. If you do it's over a 2 hour wait time. My account was accessed and address change and for extra was able to get a new card expedited to a different address. Then for extra fun they took all my money from another state. This company couldn't offer any protection from this happening. Where is our security? This is our income and now I have to wait 45 days for the company to review the case. I can't believe them. I already called Medicare and had my next deposit transferred to my other bank account. Please don't use this company. And they charged me for a new card reg 5-7 day delivery. No care in the world.
Horrible... You can't get through to anyone. Even after being on hold for literally hours, you get immediately hung up on. Customer service is terrible, the website is garbage, and they make you jump through hoops, for weeks some times, for the simplest of things...
It's the first of the month I made a few transactions and than they completely froze my account. Everytime that I call I get hung up on after getting a recording saying "They are experiencing a high call volume. This happens EVERY DAMN MONTH! Now I can't get through to a customer service agent so they can unfreeze my damn card! Me and my kids need groceries, our phone bill and rent paid and I keep getting hung up on! This is totally unacceptable!
I enrolled for this card at the SSI office and it never came. Customer service? Only answers for people with cards. If you say your card never came, it says "call volumes are too high! Call us back." But call volumes are evidently always too high to take your call. They are STEALING our SSI money.
I've called direct express 4 times in the last two days I've waited on hold yesterday for over 2 hours and Still never got in touch with a human. Now I have called again and still waiting on hold for over 30 minutes and still have not got to talk to anyone because all I get is put on hold and it says all our reps are still busy.
When I read the info blogs on direct express, it says call number on back to talk to someone. If anyone who reads this review has EVER had an acct here because our s.s. Checks are deposted here, then you already know that they don't answer the calls for s.s.recipients. After waiting 45 min once just to see if they'd really answer, the line on their end disconnected. It's gotten to be a bad joke.
Customer service representative interupts me and when I try to explain she talked even louder until she hung up. So I called back and asked for a supervisor. She was just as bad. It's it just me or does it sound like you're speaking to someone in Mexico? You can't understand half of what they say. This company sucks, stay clear. Unknown charges, on top of the atm fee, these dirty bags charge you.85 every time you use the atm. Greedy company. Most of their customers are elderly and veterans. Shame on this company. I had to put a star to finish this or they wouldn't have got that.
Save yourself the time and money and open up a real account these people are worse than a loan sharks. I learned the hard way. They put my backpay in a expired account hadn't used in over a year even though had a registered account with them. They blamed ssa. Then charged me 13.50 to send a new card that they never said I was paying for. Then another card, for what I don't know making it a total of 3 cards. Just a rip-off. I'm closing all 3 after I withdraw my money bye bye direct express tricks no good
They take money off your card so you have to pay four dollars to get a new card and if you need your card before the end of the month you have to pay 13.75 to get it before 5 or 10 and the government only give you money to live on but y'all take our money so I'm calling the Better Business bureau because it's not Fair to people on a low-income
Answer: Absolutely not! The system is automated if you can meet your need via that system you will be good to go. If you need to speak to a human it could takes hours and days. I've been calling for 4 days. Every hour 2 - 20 calls an hour. I receive the message they have a high call volume, they tell me to try again later and then they disconnect they call. Their practices are abusive.
