When it comes to appliances, be sure to stick to a local, big box retailer and always check their return policy carefully. US Appliance has an incredibly strict and ridiculously short time frame to report a damaged or defective item. In this day and age to have a 24 hour reporting policy is absolutely ludicrous. The big box stores (Home Depot, Best Buy, etc.) not only offer better pricing, they have much more customer friendly return policies. In most cases, you can report damage or issues with an item 15-30 days after purchase and still deal with the store vs. the manufacturer. Plus, larger, big box retailers (because of their size and sophistication) are almost always willing to bend their rules and help support and protect you as a customer. If you absolutely have to use an online retailer for your appliance needs, go Amazon! Customer policies are amazing and they will have your back if something goes wrong.

Delivery was good by FedEx but had some physical damage on the top and bottom of my appliances.
For future deliveries i recommend leaving the appliances in on the pallet.

Received cooktop today 12/19/2018 My cooktop ended up being on a backorder for well over a month. But I was not told of a delay or back order. I had to write and call several times to see why it hadn't shipped before I was finally told. Money was deducted from my account when order was placed instead of being withdrawn when shipped.
I got my package and it has damage to box on outside. I cannot know if cooktop is damaged until electrician comes next week to install.

I can understand why you have the policy that the customer needs to inspect the package and note any damage before signing, but you put me in a very difficult situation. The driver gets lost trying to find my house,he arrives over an hour late,. He parks in the middle of the road and helps me unload the package to a cart,. He hands me the delivery paper, Now I am suppose to say,"i will not sign it till I have inspected ii". It is winter, deep snow covers the ground it is windy and cold,opening the box,out doors on the road side would have taken 15 minutes,,with the box parts scatter about,exposing the oven to the elements and possible damage as I moved to the house.-unless I repacked it. So I just signed the paper knowing you would be of no help to me if there was damage. I was put in a situation that I never want to experience again. I understand your need,but you seem not to understand mine, I have other places where I can purchase things -and next time,unless you change your policy,I would never buy from you again

Our freezed had a few dents on the left side, but we didn't notice them. Luckily, the freezer and refrigerator fit in a cabinet frame which shields the sides.
