Scam beware!

I bought a flight from unpub, the flight was cancelled and the airline refunded immediately I know because some of the extra purchases I made was immediately refunded to my card. This was on April 6. It's going on two months abs I have not been refunded by Unpub and until now they make excuses about why. Cheap flights but if something goes wrong you are screwed.

I have been waiting for a refund that the airline sent to UnPub 2 weeks ago. Customer Service advised it could take 4-5 months for them to process my refund. Other forms of payment used on the same ticket were refunded next day. Despite numerous requests from me, my bank and Spirit Airlines, UnPub refuses to process the refund.

The trip booking process was efficient. However, we had to cancel our trip due to COVID. Airline issued a refund back to unpub after we provided documents within a week. However, Unpub has been giving us a run around for 2.5+ months at this point without being able to process the refund. I have had atleast 25 calls with their customer service department and they keep giving false hopes that its under processing to no avail. I would highly recommend staying away from this company.

Scam

You should learn from my mistake. Booking with them is a huge risk which I learned after booking. I was charged right away but my ticket was not confirmed until after few days and multiple calls. In that meantime, you can neither cancel nor make another booking because you are stuck with them. Then the airlines cancelled due to covid and now the refund have to come through unpub. I have been waiting for around two weeks for refund. It should not take more than 3-5 days. Then they charged my card without my permission for subscription which was cancelled during the trial. Ugh, I am so tired at this point.

Website problematic and causing additional fees
August 23, 2022

When I booked my second flight with unpub, their website changed my first name when I made the payment using a card with a different name. I realized the error only afterwards and I was told I have to pay over $150 to change the name on the ticket. My first trip also disappeared from the website once I booked the second flight, so i cannot see it anymore.

Uncomfortable process

I have the pro subscription and when I book a flight, I got a nice discount, but the whole process is quite uncomfortable, and you don't feel sure if the flight is actually booked or not. Process makes you worry that you may not actually have a ticket

My experience was not very streamline

The site went down at least three times while trying to book. My credit card was supposedly declined, but wasn't my card's issue. I couldn't get anyone on the phone. I was put on hold then hung up on a half dozen times. I finally got a representative on a different number, thought it was go to go, but did not receive my E-ticket as promised. Another call and finally received my e-ticket. I am not confident with this purchase.

Customer Service Upgrade

The only drawback here is that you have to send an email inorder to receive an answer from customer service. No one has time to wait 24hrs for a reply.

Robbed!

I canceled before the trial period ended and received an email confirming the cancelation and was not to be charged. This was 9/24/21 on 10/9/21 I was charged. I reached out to them and have been getting the run around ever since! They are crooks! They hang up on me when ever I ask for a manager or someone who can help me. Worst decision I ever made no more 3rd party travel agencies for me I can do this again.

Scam

I was charged DOUBLE the advertised price. When I spoke with customer service I was met with rudeness and unprofessionalism. I was told that I'd receive confirmation of my cancellation, it's been 3 days and still nothing! I emailed customer support, they made an excuse as to why I was charged and didn't address the refund at all. The WORST company!

Bad customer service

The is a bug in the website, i called the rep to place an order over the phone, he told me the price is not available any more, I told hım the price is available on your website and other websites, he said I can't help you, I told him how can I book online and there is a bug, he said book and call us back we will fix the date of birth free of charge, I booked and called back, the agent Said if we need to fix it we will change you a fee, I told him your coworker said it's free and I gave him his name, he Said call the airlines they will fix it for you.

Bait and switch

I was taken to this site from Skyscanner which is why I trusted it. I booked a flight for 3 and that went through although when I went to check in I had a problem because their system combined the first and middle name on all our tickets and it didn't match the passport. Then I had to book another flight before I knew of the ticketing issue and since I had this $500 bonus credits to use from their free trial period, I booked a flight and chose the higher price option so that I got a free carry on. I was on the same flight with free carry on that I purchased from a different broker and thought it was a good price after they discounted it by $50 from my bonus credits only to find out st check in that they billed me at the higher price and booked me on the lower fare without a free checked bag. I called to complain and their response was if I had proof. I would have screenshot it if I knew you were going to scam me! If you have to use them screenshot your selection. I ended up having to pay $200. Extra for 1 carry on!

Let me start by saying sometime the $50-$80.00 discount you get is not worth the hassle. First of all, their support line is based in India. So, there is that. When I had to make a changes to my tickets due to some immigration related issue I had to call 2-3 times a day for every single day. At first they said they could not do a change and when they did they said will charge additional $200.00. I could not get a supervisor on the phone. When I did, this guy was so RUDE and aggressive. No customer service sense at all. I also bought insurance they offer but can be only used incase anything goes wrong during the trip. Their credit card charging department is a 3rd party company with California number but again based in India. I was so sure my identity or credit number will be stolen the whole time I was dealing with them.

At the end the trip worked out okay and I waited a month to write this review because I did not want anything to happen to trip.

ONLY buy ticket from them if you are not going to make any changes at all. They bull$#*! subscription they sell is worthless better off Kayak and Priceline.

Unpub attempted to help this customer through the Sitejabber Resolution Center, but the customer did not respond

They charged me a premium plan and canceled all bonuses in a month. I called them and sent emails they ignored me. Afterward, I opened a case with a credit card agency to get my money back.

I bought an international flight with stopovers via Unpub. I was able to verify the reservation with Turkish Airlines. A few days after the reservation I got an email from Turkish that the connecting flight in Istanbul has been rescheduled earlier leaving just 30 minutes to catch the connecting flight.
I called Turkish and they would not help me because I bought the ticket via an agent and I would have to speak to them.
I spoke to Unpub and the guy convinced me to confirm the same flight. He said it would be no problem. He knows the airport and the arrival and departure is in the same terminal. I kept questioning it but he kept insisting it's fine.
I called Turkish and they said it will be impossible to catch the second flight as I would have to go through security again. I would need 90 minutes minimum. Turkish said the agent should have selected a later flight (leaving 4 hours later).
After a few calls I got a hold of the floor manager Billy. He was very nice and understanding. He placed me on hold for 10 minutes and when he was back with me he had rescheduled the flight to my satisfaction.

Disgusting customer service!

Someone should take away their license because they are a shame for travel industry.
I've been a paid member since April 2022 and had several successful transaction with them. Issues started few weeks ago when my wallet balance of $225 disappeared. I have called them multiple times and been told that in 48 hours, 72 hours, 7 days it will be solved. As of today the issue wasn't solved. As of yesterday I booked 2 tickets without waiting further because I have been advised by one of their representatives that I can book a ticket and then request a discount from my wallet to be applied which I did. I paid at least $200 more for one ticket because my trip is coming soon so by trying to save $50 I ended up overpaying $200.
One of my tickets was charged and processed and for another one I wasn't charged and never received any cancelation notification from them. Today I called and after 1 hour and 5 minutes on the phone this doushbag replied and told me that my ticket was cancelled because the price went up over $500! Obviously I got angry and this piece of shi* hang up on me after being on a phone for over an hour!
My wallet balance is still ZERO, I have been advice to send an email and request a refund for membership fees but I already know that no one would answer my request since they never reply to emails even those from weeks ago. I really hope someone would look into your scammy business and will shut you down, and those idiots who work there would end up jobless. Below you can see screenshots of my wallet before and after.
