The last time we placed an ultras sabers sale in january of 2018, the saber took a month to ship out a grab bag saber, so I figured I wouldn't see this saber till january. However, ultrasabers was completely professional and had my order completed by the next day, and promptly shipped out to me. I received my saber and was happy with everything that came with my order, and I liked that the saber came with batteries so I could immedietly see the color!

Had an issue with logging onto my account - got super fast email response and issue fixed, able to continue on and get my order complete.
I found the whole experience to be very good. Marlena was very helpful with all of my questions and concerns. My only criticism would be the lack of communication when my order was on backorder. If I had not checked my account and then inquired myself, I would not have known what was going on. I would suggest proactively contacting the customers when a delay is expected.
My last purchase from Ultrasabers was in 2016, where I spent well over $1,000 in total during a raffle event. I was ultimately very pleased with the products and service I received at the time.
This time, I put in a rather large order (over $1,000 again), including 3 of the pre-sale V5s. Originally, all V5s were supposed to ship by the end of November, which ultimately turned into by December 19th, which even that didn't happen for a number of people.
Unlike last time, it was a bit more difficult to get responses from customer service - Neither of my 2 emails received a response, and I only got a response after I posted in the Forum that I hadn't gotten a reply yet.
While I enjoy the product, and will certainly be shopping here again, I would just recommend that more time and energy be put into customer service, should a pre-sale at that time of the year be attempted again. More transparency and communication is rather vital during such an event, exponentially moreso during this time of year.
The experience was amazing, I had read about others producing a similar product but with abysmal customer service and poor delivery time. I made the right choice.
I understand it is a busy time of the year. I understand that you have many new releases. I understand that things can go wrong when making release plans.
What I don't understand is how an online customer service rep can't answer my question or how she (assuming Holly is a girls name) decides to disconnect our conversation while i am typing a reply. I also don't understand the lack of communication period. I am a new customer and was SUPER excited to make my order. I am sure the product will be AMAZING when I get it, or IF I get it. I am seriously looking into other companies to offer $300+ to. Maybe they take customer service seriously or will at least give a "don't panic" email to those waiting. Especially a new customer.

Answer: Hello Dale R. What I can tell you is that Ultrasabers reside in Texas and I live in Southern Québec, in Canada. It took about 4 days for the two Sabers I ordered to get to me. That is extremely fast by my experience. I've been doing mail orders since 1995, between once a month to 4 times a year. In that time, I have never seen such speed. Hope this helps.
Answer: Yes as far as I know all the hilts are made from aircraft aluminum
Answer: Currently it says they have a 4 week lead time meaning it should take 4 weeks to complete. However this is not accurate. I recently received an email saying that they were updating their lead times to be more accurate. Back to your question though. As you know we are stuck in a pandemic. This makes it hard for their providers to give them all the parts they need. So, it takes at least a couple more weeks currently to finish orders.

Answer: Yup they are from the USofA - I got mine from them, Im based in Australia so I had the same concerns - but the customer service it outstanding. They are expensive but well worth it!
