To be honest all these people moaning about where they come from, Ugg boots have been made in china for years! We don't moan about them making apple ipods and all these gadgets, i think my boots are fantastic there comfy, the box they come in is exactly the same as the ones in the shoe shops sole trader, choice all the expensive ones, they do take abit longer to come through than 5-7 working days i ordered mine 31st of december and they came 11th january so be patient! Any way there great! I recomend!

On the 28/11/2010 I ordered from uk-ugg-boots.com a pair of ugg boots for my daughter, advertised to be GENUINE GRADE A TWINFACE SHEEPSKIN boots (order number *******).
I must confess that at the time I had no idea that the company was based in China and the advertising was as un-true as the web-site name suggestion that they were based in the UK (uk-ugg-boots.com)... Although not receiving a confirmation email of the order did ring some bells.

10 days later we received the boots which can be described as anything but GENUINE GRADE A SHEEPSKIN. Really cheap, fake stuff that you can buy with £15 or less almost everywhere in the UK nowadays. I contacted them numerous times asking for a full refund, offering to pay for the return of the boots. But it looks like we are literally not speaking the same language, or at least we are not on the same wavelength... If I was to return the boots, they want to charge me 25% of the price as their original shipping fees to UK, etc... They keep stating they are sorry, but there seem to be no remorse at all in their attitude.

Therefore, although I am interested in getting back my money, I am really more interested in making sure that nobody gets scammed again by this company. So, I will try and raise the awareness in the UK cyberspace against these scammers.

If there is anything you can do along the same lines, I will much appreciate it. Many thanks, AG.

I brought a pair of ugg boots from this website and i beleive they are genuine, It did take a week and a half for them too arrive but i wasn't dissapointed. The reason the boots come from China is because that is were the ugg boots are made and have been for the last 3 years, so if you have brougt a pair in the last 3 years and the label says "Australia" or "New Zealand" then they are fake.

I ordered one pair of uggs from this website and after a while got worried when a confirmation email didn't arrive, but I just left it. Then two days later I got an email from my bank saying that money had taken out of my account and in chinese money! I converted it to pounds and it was a couple of pounds more than what I agreed to so this annoyed me a bit so I decided to do some research on the website and saw so many different comments on how bad the website is and that it is all a scam. I stopped my credit card and tried to get the money back but it had already gone through. I was very upset but decided to wait...
After 8 days they still had not come so I started to lose hope...
But on the 9th day GUESS WHAT? A parcel arrived! I was so excited when i saw ugg Australia on the side and opened the box and was so happy with what I saw! The boots were gorgeous, fitted perfectly and looked basically genuine! They obviously are not and I don't think they're real sheepskin but unless you are an Ugg expert who can tell the difference? They are great fakes and I am very happy with them.
So if you have ordered uggs from uk-ugg-boots.com don't lose all hope because you could just be lucky like me. But I do advise you to cancel your card just in case...
Thanks, hope this helped. X

This website seemed trustworthy and even had the trademark ugg logo on their page. Being a bit strapped for cash I thought I'd give them a whirl but began to get worried as I was unable to track my order and after 3 weeks had given up all hope. When they were finally delivered I couldn't believe the cheek of the website to say they were genuine. Having purchased a pair of genuine Ugg boots before from a well known retailer I could see a big differerence in the quality. These Uggs or Fuggs as a better name for them had a very similar looking outer sole and logo on the heal but thats where the similarities ended. There is no way these boots are suede and unless they have sheep that have nylon fur in China, how they can state on the inner label that the lining is fleece is beyond me. I have worn my Fuggs for about a month and the nylon inside is not breathable like genuine fleece and has started to come away. I would urge anyone not to waste their money on these crappy fakes and after reading other reviews wish I'd done a bit of research first.

This is poor excuse for genuin UGG's. The website may look great and tick all the boxes, but my partner got me tall UGG's for my birthday October 2009, had no problems with payment or receiving them.
They looked very genuin, but it wasnt until after wearing them a few times and on some occasions in the rain, i found they must be fake as when they got wet so did my feet! Not impressed at all!
As my friend has genuin UGG's i asked for her advice and she definatley said that they are definatley not genuin.
SO PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR YOUR HOPES THINKING YOUR GETTTING THE REALL THING!
S**T!

I was quite worried after reading all the other reviews but im happy to say that after around 2 weeks I received my Ugg Boots. NOW, whilst I agree that these are fakes, can I add that I have genuine Ugg Boots and compared them to my new "fake" uggs and they are actually very very similar. In fact there is very little difference. The fur inside is identical, the sole is the same and the quality of the sheepskin is the same. They are JUST as comfy as my originals, and I closely compared them together and the only slight difference is that the Ugg imprints at the bottom of the sole of the boots is a little bit different, but as you don't visually see these you would never notice! Im happy to confirm that they are EXCELLANT fakes and the fact there is little difference in quality or look reflects, WHY oh WHY would you fork out an extra £70 to get the originals? If the quality was bad then I understand this, but they are the same guys. Prob made in a factory where most of the staff and the designers had worked for UGG originally! Enjoy

At the time of writing, this one is identical to uk-uggboots.co.uk and others. It's the latest design in the ongoing series of Chinese fakes, and it's probably the best one so far - from their point of view anyway. It's an attempt to copy the original site in much greater detail than before, right down to the UGG "favicon" in the address bar of your browser, and if you don't know about the whole Chinese fake thing, it will likely fool you. This one really is rather good.

The main giveaway for anyone who doesn't know how to identify a fake or isn't even aware that these phony sites exist, is that you cannot buy genuine UGG® Australia boots at these prices. These are simply fakes priced as fakes. The greater danger, of course, is that instead of receiving a pair of fake boots, your money will just vanish into thin air. In fact there may be more than a 50/50 chance that you'll get nothing at all and have no way to do anything about it.

If you've paid by credit card, you should notify the card company at once that this is a site selling Chinese replicas as genuine. The card companies must be up to their ears in disputes with these Chinese wholesalers so there's no real excuse for them to put you off, but they probably will anyway. You'll have to go through a dispute procedure but you should be compensated eventually.

Meanwhile, if it becomes obvious that you're not going to see that pair of fake Chinese boots ever, and you still want a pair of genuine UGG® Australia boots, then buy them from UGG at http://www.uggaustralia.com or from one of the authorized retailers listed on that site.

Whatever, please spread the word about these people wherever you can, especially if you use online forums or message boards. Tell your friends, UGG never, ever, sells its products out of China. They're made there, but they're never sold from there and neither does UGG ever ship its products from there to customers in other countries. Get the word out if possible and save someone else the same disappointment and distress.

Footnote: I just noticed this on the product pages here:

"Big Surprise When you receive your purchase! "

Hmm. I think more likely, receiving your purchase IS the big surprise.
