Finest quality of trees I have received in a long time. Customer service was outstanding! They were helpful and timely in their results/responses. I would highly recommend Ty Ty Nursery for any and all tree purchases.
I purchased a tree on March 5th and planted it immediately upon delivery. 1 1/2 months later it shows no signs of life. I notified Ty Ty and they got back to me a week later and said to wait longer. A month later still nothing and they did not respond. I sent photos of the tree. I heard nothing for 2 weeks. Until Jordan emailed me that they are short handed and very busy handling new clients. Now the items are in the garbage can and I promise to only buy locally for reputable companies. Sincerely Jon Flodstrom

Never order from anyone who doesn’t stand behind their products
I bought a bare root peach tree that was dead on arrival. I called and TyTy said that's how bare roots trees look so I planted it. A month later and no signs of life. They gave me store credit for the tree, but not all the one-time-use accessories I bought and used to plant the tree.
I'll never buy from them again.

Ordered 8 3 year old table grape vines at $21.00 a vine. When received they were in terrible condition, one vine had two roots and the others no more than 5-6 roots. Not sure how a company who is supposedly selling THREE year old vines could consciously send them to a customer. When contacted their customer service department to express my concern regarding their product they promptly told me that two roots on a vine was more than acceptable? I've been growing wine grapes for years and have never seen or received a vine that resembled what I received from Ty Ty Nursery. Extremely outraged! Save your time, money and frustration and shop somewhere else. Hopefully you can purchase what you need locally so you can return your dead plants there.

A tree I bought from them last spring died last year despite my doing everything you should do to transplant the tree. They gave me a $23 credit, but then told me I had to spend $40 to place an order online. They refused to credit me the $23 or just ship a replacement tree. I guess this is the price you pay for doing business with a "cheap" supplier... You get cheap service!

Bought two small shade trees. One died.

Dead "fruit bearing" mulberry bush that left their property with leaves and arrived dead. Customer service claimed the dead spotted leaves were a result of their sprinkler system? I bought 10 trees, all dormant except the one that's dead. Horrible customer service. Go to Fast Growing Trees
Two month update. Two of six fruit trees pretty much dead sticks. Birds of Paradise also dead. Compare with locally purchased Bird of Paradise. Grapes growing, but do not look 2-3 years old. Local Nurseries provided fair better quality in terms of condition and size. Prices from TyTy were more than twice local prices. DO NOT BUY FROM TYTY.
Wish I could give them zero stars honestly. After ordering 5 flowering pear trees, and literally having them jammed into the box with limbs broken, only 3 survived. I've planted well over 100 trees this year alone, so I'm well versed in shock and adaptation. Aside from that, one the "trees" was literally a straight twig with zero branching. Reading all the reviews AFTER this had me worried because the reviews claimed they never respond. Well when they did respond I was immediately relieved, but for about 5 seconds as Marlene told me they will eventually branch out and to be patient, meanwhile 3 are slowly throwing leafs. They then wanted a scratch test pic to prove it was dead and they would offer store credit. Now I have to wait to next spring to have to play catch up. It is what it is at this point, but they can shove their store credit up there a$$. Thank you for absolutely nothing TY TY!
My Grape vine arrived dead. Brittle, hollow, and old. I cried. I lost $75. Then I started to read all the reviews on the internet about this company and I cried even harder. Unfortunately, I am one of the people that got scammed. I will never buy from TY TY again, and I will try to post my review as many places as possible to warn as many people as I can. They also preview and approve all of their reviews before posting on their website, which ia why you will only see good reviews. I do not see how this company has lasted this long. But hopefully it wont last much longer once enough people find out. Take care.

I purchased 3 trees (Japanese Magnolia, Flowering Cherry, and Pink Dogwood) and 1 shrub (Beautyberry) from TyTyGa in May, 2022. The Pink Dogwood and Flowering Cherry trees looked very good on receipt, the Magnolia and Beautyberry, not so much. However, by the end of the summer, all had leafed out and were looking great. Over the winter, half the branches of the Beautyberry and the Japanese Magnolia died. TyTyGa refunded my full purchase price on those, exactly as promised. The other trees are growing and doing great, and even the remaining branches of the Beautyberry and Magnolia actually turned out to be viable. Overall, I am very happy with the quality and especially the price and customer service, and I plan to purchase more plants from them.

We ordered 4 trees from Ty Ty on 4/1/2023, They did not look good at all when they arrived, and they are far far from what we paid for.
1. A paw paw tree------it has been looking sick upon arrival. The leaves had brown spots and holes. After being in the ground for almost 3 months, it has shown no sign of growth, even the tip turned brown and died out. It looks like someone with a Chronic disease.
The Customer's service lady said since the paw paw tree is not dead, they could not do anything about it.
2.A Loquat tree----- We paid almost $130 for a 5-6 feet tall loquat tree, hoping that it would bear fruit sooner. Yet we got a tree so thin, tilted and weak that it has to be supported by a bamboo stick! What is worse, not only did it come with only a few leaves on, but almost all the leaves had big brown spots on! There is no way that it can hold any fruit!
Customer's service lady said that the brown spots were due to the iron in our water system and they refused to do anything about what they sent to me. And she refused to say anything about the weak and tilted trunk.
3. A Pakistan mulberry tree-----The mulberry tree's price was $175.75, We ordered it because their website said it's a bearing tree. But we got a tall stick with only 4 leaves on it. After almost 3 months, a few pale leaves are all we have now.
Customer's service lady said that we should not expect to get fruit the first year.
Conclusion: Ty Ty nursery is a rip off! And they do everything to tell you that as long as your tree is not dead, no matter how sick the trees look, it is the customer's problem.
Drive 107.miles and gate locked on Saturday, make phone call and lady says not open to public after reading reviews going home we won't be making this trip again
I ordered two Hardy Almond trees in Mid-may 2022. The trees were shipped via UPS, and took 5 days from the notice of shipment to delivery at my home. During this time, we had a heat wave across the area from the nursery to where I live. The trees were shipped bare-root, with no water-saving gel or plastic or anything to protect them. They arrived dried out, and dead. I spent 3 weeks with their CSRs (sending photos, etc.) while the CSRs tried to blame me for the trees arriving dead. I even planted them to see whether they'd survive, but they didn't. The CSRs continued to blame me for the dead trees, offered no warranty coverage, and said that since I'd sent the dead plants to compost, there was nothing more to prove my claim. THEY ARE A TERRIBLE COMPANY. Buy from Burpee, Starks, Proven Winners, etc. This company is a ripoff. ($85 spent, including shipping, for two dead trees!)
Edit: (June 8,2022) after an email from the current claimed owner, Ryan Phillips, who provided me with a direct contact number *******252 Ext. 34 and *******062 (Direct), I received a *total refund*, including shipping costs. I don't have enough other information to determine whether this (newer) ownder seems to really want to improve this company's reputation and opearation, but I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt. Note that, before this happened, I not only provided negative reviews on Google and Yelp, but I also filed a complaint with the BBB, and a PayPal refund request.
Despite the resolution of my complaint, I'd still recommend that buyers beware. There are still a lot of pretty recent reviews that suggest that this company has still not learned much, that they still are sending out low-quality (or dead) plants, and that they have not learned how to ship product so that it survives the trip, to arrive at the buyer in good condition. I hope that the current owner learns how to do this, because their product selection is awesome, but receiving dead plants is the opposite of awesome.
Tip for consumers:
AVOID them like the plague. They are a scam, a ripoff, they send out dead items then won't respond. They "offer" a plant warranty but don't honor it. They are awful.

None. Trees were dead when they arrived. No refund offered. (A reship was offered after I said I was going to provide truthful reviews about this business, and I declined. I will buy next spring, from a reputable company.)
I purchase two trees(plum) on damsom the other Santa Rosa Plum...both trees appeared dead, but I planted them just in case,,,two weeks later,,no buds,,,etc,,,Called them up, they asked me to send pictures,,,sent them the pictures, they asked me to scrape the bark of the tree to prove it was dead,,
Apparently, they had no desire to refund or send more trees. I ordered trees from another vendor that I had used for years. I have had fruit trees for over 40 years never encountered such lousy service.
Beware!

Purchased 2 expensive Large Paw Paw Trees from Ty Ty Nursery years ago & they did not survive even one year. The seller was uncaring and refused to do anything about it. I'd never purchase anything from them again. (Note: I had also purchased several small Paw Paw Trees from another seller-source, which did survive).

Not just the worst nursery I have ever dealt with in my 69 years, the absolute WORST COMPANY I have ever run into. If my order is any indication, their plants are shipped without the slightest regard as to whether they might be dead or dying.
Ordered two (2) Concord Seedless grapes for a yard arbor and a Premier Blueberry to fill out a specimen garden I started in 2020. The blueberry was in horrible condition and I did not think it would live till fall. At this point it's barely hanging on, but don't see how it will survive the winter. One of the Concord grapes root stock arrived stone dead. I worked around table grapes in the industry for 35 years and I know a dead grape root stock when I see one. I called Ty Ty who assured me 'all root stock look dead when they arrive'. I told them the cambium layer was cooked from mishandling, but no... they said I had to plant it first. So everything went into the carefully prepared beds. The one Concord leafed out inside two weeks and looked OK. The dead one well... was dead. So I called them back, was given another run around and insisted on speaking to the manager. I was told to take scraping of the main stem and a lateral to show the dead cambium layer and send photos. I did so. Well, now they were going to get me a new grape. NOT. I was issued a 'credit'. So, I prepared to order the new grape but no... now it was 'too late in the year'. Next convenient shipping date? The dead of winter January 2023. So in September 2022 I decided to order the grape early to avoid being sent another piece of dead kindling. I went in to order and apply my credit but again, the fix was in. I couldn't use my $31 credit... I had to spend at LEAST $40 to check out. Then of course there was the $20 shipping fee and tax... making the invoice to replace my dead grape EQUAL to the original invoice for all three plants.
These people will take advantage of you in every way possible in my opinion. They work the system like con artists and absolutely will NOT lose a dime regardless of whether they send you dead plants or not. How they get good reviews is beyond my comprehension. I encountered incompetence, poor quality products and outright deception at every incredibly irritating step of the process and will end up having spent almost $70 for one dead plant and two that appear on their last legs. AVOID DOING BUSINESS WITH TY TY AT ALL COST.
Tip for consumers:
Don't buy from Ty Ty Nursery
I ordered and paid the price for a 4-5ft tall tree seedling. Once it is arrived, it is exactly 3ft tall because they cut it into 3ft. So called, to fit together with another 3-4ft seedling tree I ordered, and to fit them in a narrow box. BUT I paid $34.75 to buy a 4-5 feet tall tree, what is the point to get a 3ft only. If I buy a 3-4ft tall one, it is $24.75, $10 less. If they want to save their money for shipping, they should not cheating customers for the 4-5ft tall price, and should refund $10 for the true 3-4ft price. In addition, this seedling has only two main branches, and both of them were cut, the tree will not be grown as it was because it has to grow the very small branches sideway, and it WILL NOT have a main straight tree trunk. The customer service woman was full of excuses and trying to protect their business hardly. She said they have order agreement, and I agree it. So, please read agreement before you buy. It is NOT an honest and reputable business from consumer point of view. I am very disappointed and will return the two trees, and can get 80% money back.
The plants arrived near death. The mimosa was a stick and a nub for roots and is STILL nothing more than a stick. The evergreen... well see the pic. They give you the run around on their 'supposed' 1 year guaranteed. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!
Tip for consumers:
SCAM. Does not honor 1 year guarantee. Asks for pics but then claim they cannot open them. Total run around.

Can NOT use products as they are dead.
If I could give them negative stars I would. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! They will send you DEAD trees and tell you they are just dormant. Planted and did everything needed. They NEVER grew. The other fruit trees from the local nursery however PERFECT. Survived the harsh winter but the "dormant" TYTY $hit trees... nothing. DO NOT waste your money with them.
In 2020 I ordered a semi-dwarf black tartarian cherry tree and a dwarf North Star cherry tree from Ty Ty and planted them in the spring of 2021. I was suspicious then that at least one of the trees was incorrect because they were the same size, looked alike and had the same color paint markings. I planted them anyway because they appeared healthy and the name tags were per order. Now, 3 years later, both trees are doing well but I am convinced that both are black tartarian. I don't know if Ty Ty or their supplier was responsible for the mistake, or if it was intentional, but I am very disappointed. A mix-up in a fruit tree order takes years to become evident and can cause even more years delay in fruit production because of pollination issues. I have not contacted Ty Ty regarding this issue since I did not keep the proof of purchase.
I bought a Cherry Tree in May that I immediately planted at arrival. The Tree was watered regularly but died. I have reached out to customer service to ask for a replacement and recieved a long email about plant insurance but no replacement. Apparently you have to get plant insurance for Ty Ty Nursery to stand behind their products. They do have a Return policy but the customer is responsible for the total return shipping cost and have to pay a 15% restocking fee. So I purchase the Cherry Tree for 100 dollars and would have to pay 15 dollars and pay shipping to try to get my money back. I have purchased Apple Trees from Stark Brothers Nursery which was also a bare root tree and was very satisfied. They offer a full 1 year guarantee on all trees that are sold and will send you a replacement tree if they are notified that a tree or plant died. If you buy from this Nursery there is a good possibility that you will be throwing your money away.

I buy persimmon tree there but 3 months the tree don't have any leaf. I call them I want refund the tree and they send me the new tree. But they said they take the refun tree see what happens. But they not send me the new tree.(that what the lady in the phone tell me)the price to high and the tree so little. Every one please don't buy anything from them is my first and last time, is throw away money.(Hỡi đồng bào việt ai đọc được tin này thì nhớ đừng mua bất cứ gì ở đây, giá cao mà khi cây nhận được thì bé tí. đã vậy khi cây bị gì họ sẽ ko giải quyết cứ kêu chờ và chờ giờ. đừng mua gì nếu ko muốn mất tiền oan nha)
Site sells dead products and require 25% of original price of order to replace anything even though they sent it dead in the first place. See ripoffreport.com for tons of complaints against them.
