Cute shoes but terrible return process in which they charge you again for shipping by deducting it from what you played for your original purchase. I've ordered from hundreds of other shoe companies and sadly I won't be ordering from this company again.
They took my order and money and that's the last I heard of them. That was in June 2023 and it's September now. No shoes. No contact and no response to emails.
I have to conclude they are running a scam. Avoid!
I ended up purchasing my own return label because they will deduct $10 from your refund if you use their prepaid return shipping label. Tracking number shows the shoes were returned a week ago and no refund yet. Emailed them, have not received a response. I even called and got voice mail. I'm just going to go through paypal to get my refund. I got receipts so don't try and clame this wasnt a purchase through your website. DO BETTER
Shoes are fine. It's the return policy I don't like. I used a coupon to purchase a pair of shoes which saved me some cash. However when it came to returning it I had to cover the cost of shipping it back to them. The website states that they don't do exchanges and if you want it in another size you have to reorder again. Really sucks because the coupon I had used was expired. So in the end I paid more than I should have.
They look really cute, But, they will not last. If you send back they will not refund your money, the money disappears. The quality is horrible. The foot bed sinks into the sole because there hollow, air In the sole. This review is coming from a t.u.k old school veteran. I brought creepers for my daughter. Better made in the 80's. The materiel they us today is not worth it & you won't get your money back and they will send a replacement, if your lucky. Because they always are pit of your size.
My first tuk shoes were Black Leather Viva Low Creeper as i remember, purchased in 2020. They were made in 2017 - but under the sole - is wrote 2014 and made with not bad quality. After 2 years of wearing the "leather" was began to crack and peel off so it was about time to buy new ones. I wasn't shock because I wore them almost all the time. I bought Black Leather Viva Mondo Creeper and they are not the same as before - the sole and "leather" is much more lower quality and the price is the same as i remember. They were made in 2021 as you can see. Under the sole in 2019. I'm so unsatisfied. For proof I'm sending you some pictures to compare with old ones. With a heavy heart honestly I do not recommend them anymore.
TUK has, at this point, totally ghosted me without providing a working gift code to replace the shoes I'd returned. I'll echo the other reviewers here who felt ripped off by the shipping charges associated with the return process and add that much as I've tried to be patient and cooperative, their CS team clearly sucks so I'm done with them. Back to Doc Martens.
tukshoesaustralia.com is a scam website. I thought I was buying shoes off the other TUK reputable dealers but after sending Lyme to and not receiving and goods I have been informed, it is a scam. Aussies, don't purchase shoes from this site!
I've been buying TUK shoes for years and have never bought a shoe that didn't fit or wasn't what I expected. Was surprised to see so many negative reviews. Have never used their customer service but I guess I've just had luck. I have relatively large feet, in their shoes a W11, and when I order a pair I confidently know I'm getting a shoe that 1 - fits and 2 - is comfortable to wear. Something I haven't had much luck with when I've bought Docs or other boots.
I returned two pairs of shoes in perfect condition and they expectedly charged me $10 for shipping but also unexpectedly took another $10 off each pair of shoes so I ended up paying a total of $40 to return the two pairs! What a ripoff! The shoes were in perfect condition! I bought them from the TUK website which says it will deduct "up to $10" if tape or labels are applied to the shoebox, which I did not do; we used the original cardboard shipping box to send them back. I'm so angry and upset about this and will never buy shoes there again.
Problems started when the shoes arrived – they had been mislabelled and were the wrong size.
Their sizing system doesn't seem to conform to generally accepted sizing standards – either too small or too large.
Don't expect to be fully refunded either. They conveniently claim that shoes had been worn (they hadn't) despite photographic evidence to the contrary and would only issue a part refund – which took six weeks for them to process.
Buyer beware.
UPDATE January 2016 - as you can see, it's only taken well over a year for TUK to respond. How attentive. Each email was signed either "TUK team" or "E-Commerce manager"; please feel free to continue denying this was a TUK sale.
I'm not sure where these shoes were purchased, but I'm certain this wasn't an order through TUKshoes.com. I think this was regarding a different store maybe that sells our shoes?
Unlike the other reviewers here I have never had any problems with tuk other than coloring on photos on the website and that isn't much of a problem. I have 3 pairs from them so far, 2 pairs of creepers and a pair of nosebleed boots. They are so excellently made and comfortable, I wear my boots almost on a daily bases. The only time I have ever had an inconvenience from them is one time they accidentally game me the wrong tracking code but I got an email back very quickly with the correct one.
I ordered to TUK, shoes the 2th december, to offer the gift for Christmas. We are today the 2th of January the shoes didn't arrive, and Christmas is gone. No news from TUK, they don't answer.
And I know the shoes are maked in China, not in England as expected.
You have to flee this company. It's a big scam.
I received my tartan creeper style boots this morning and am IN LOVE! They fit like they were made for me and are the comfiest boot I've ever worn. Will definitely be ordering again!
This site seems like a scam to me. It looks legitimate, but they took my money and never sent my order or responded to my inquiries. My advice is be careful.
Sadly it is not possible to give this company a zero star review or I would. I am very suspicious of the 5 star reviews they have received, as other review sites rate TUK very low - and with good cause. They are not even registered with Google business, so consumers are unable to leave a google review.
I placed an order on 31st January for a pair of shoes for my partners birthday. 14 days came and went, but I gave them another 2 weeks before chasing them up. So far I have sent 3 email inquiries, the last two requesting (politely) a full refund as my order was still listed as not dispatched (it has now been 7 weeks).
I have been totally ghosted, not even a response to say, "sorry, we screwed up, and we will dispatch as soon as possible"...simply nothing.
The web site looks legit, as does a smattering of positive reviews, but I believe this company to be nothing more than a scam web site. I will NEVER try to buy anything from them in the future, and I advise others to proceed with extreme caution, and make sure you are prepared to kiss your money goodbye.
I saw an influencer on tiktok with these boots and she got them from TUK. It's the knee high double decker black boots. First, they are not thick calf friendly. I didn't even realize I had "thick calves" until I bought TUK shoes and then I was introduced to a whole world of exclusive boots brands. I couldn't zip up the boot at all. It was too tight. I sent them back for a bigger size hoping it would help. It did, kinda. I sent a message to their customer service asking what was up with that and how people usually deal with this issue. They were very much like "too bad so sad, try longer laces".
Long story short, I got longer laces, stretched the boots to the max, got them zipped, wore them once and the zipper freaking busted. Like straight up broke. It did that weird thing where it stays zipped at the top but the rest of the zipper separates. Now I can't wear them at all. Clearly isn't made for anyone mid-plus sized (and I'm not plus sized, btw) or anyone who doesn't have sticks for legs.
What a lousy, cheap, exclusive company.
TUK shoes denies reviews on their website that mentions anything negative about their boots. That's why I am here posting my review.
These shoes are cute and stylish but if you are even a little chunky in the calf area, DONT BUY. They won't zip up over your calf. I asked TUK customer service and they were very much like "too bad so sad, buy loger laces". I returned my size 7 for a size 8 hoping it would fit better and it doesn't. I don't even see laces for sale online longer than the stock laces that come with the boots. If you do get it to zip over your calf, the laces aren't long enough to lace all the way up.
All in all, I like the boots, they are comfy and stylish. But, I don't reach for them over my Dr. Marten's like I intended because of them not zipping over my calf. (And I'm not super chunky, im 5 "5,150 lbs).
Worn once, walked only 300 meters...
Don't buy this low quality chinese crap!

Hey Natasha, TUK's return policy says they will always honors a previously used coupon when you are returning it for a new size in a new order. Hope that helps next time.
