TSC no longer reliable

Used to be a goto. No longer. They are trying to rival Amazon but without the ethics and customer service. I have been buying from TSC since before on-line shopping was a thing. They used to ship from their warehouse. Promptly. I realize they have grown but they do not seem to be able to handle the traffic. So they appear to be downloading shipping to the supplier - some items are not coming out of their own warehouse. The problem is the orders shipped that way are not trackable. If shipped from the US (buyers are not told this) items go to a border transfer point like Taylor MI. I have an item that has been stuck there since January 19,2023. Tracking numbers supplied by TSC are tagged as one carrier but the carrier says the numbers are not theirs. A little research found one number to be another carrier who stopped at the border. TSC was most annoyed that I reached out to the manufacturer and both carriers for information as I could not get any from TSC. Lesson learned.

They fooled me by applying my discount code and showing that it was accepted in my shopping cart. I then confirmed my order and got the confirmation number not knowing that they charged me full price for the product. When I called customer service they assured me the cancellation of my order, but I called again after few days since I didn't see it being cancelled and that's when they got very rude and said we won't guarantee cancellation and that I have to pay for the return shipping if I don't want it. They lied to me by showing my a price at checkout and then added back the discount. They should be ashamed of themselves. A big company like TSC should be more professional and able to resolve their customers' concerns. Never shopping there anymore

Tsc.ca

Very disappointed at the Tsc.ca. Once you place your order it cannot be modified. Even if you phone them right away. They will not give me the 20% discount on my order that was advertised on their site.
The only thing Tsc cares about is your money. Phoned their Customer service. Was told to return the item and pay for shipping as the order cannot be changed or canceled. Also they will charge me 'restocking ' fee. They do not care if you are a long term customer. Please think carefully before spending your money with them. I will not be shopping there anymore.

Great selection

I love ordering from TSC not only Canadian but they make a real effort to offer Canadian designers They also make it easy to afford with multiple payment plan with no extra cost which is a bonus! They deliver to your door The only reason i took off a star is because their shipping costs are steep and you have to spend over $150 pretax to be eligible for free shipping A heads up! Check out their clearance and last chance clearance for some really great discounts

Ordered two stained glass panels and then was very alarmed after reading negative reviews. One arrived with in days and I thought oh here comes trouble, incomplete order. I used online form to question but befor they had t8me to answer, the other one turned up with a note on invoice "items packed separately'.
I guess that one should have arrived first.
Had a good experience but I know that's not always so.

One star is generous

Ordered a Laptop almost a month before my son is to go back to school. It was a MacBook bundle came with everything, price was good and my brother had made purchases from tsc and had no issues so I bought it. Almost a month later payment has been taken out yet no product has even been shipped! Every time I call I get a different answer as to way from their customer service reps and you can never get anyone from " customer resolution " on the phone. Don't waist your time or money. Research and go get it from the store, given the reviews (I wish I looked at before) I don't know how this place is still operating.

I purchased a tee from the Brian Bailey collection when I was watching the morning show. I then watched the afternoon show and they were offering a 15% coupon on the items. They did not have that coupon in the morning so I contacted customer service to tell them that the coupon was not offered that deal. That was then I was told that since it was over two hours since I had placed my order that they could not adjust my order. I then asked if I could cancel my order and I was told again that it was over two hours that I could not do that. I thought they had a 24 hour policy about orders. So, from my experience, I would like people to know that they should be very careful when dealing with this company. They obviously do not care to keep loyal customers that have spent a lot of money to their web site. Tread very careful with this company and really check things out before you spend your hard earned money with them.

Shipping Carrier Awful

I ordered two items on June 16. An email on June 18 informed me that the parcel was shipped. On clicking on the tracking number I was informed that delivery was June 25th. It is now July 5th. The tracking has still not been updated. I contacted TSC on three occasions. Each person promised something would be done. My last contact was today July 5th. I requested not to have parcels sent with Fleetoptics as I have never had a positive experience with them in contrast to the other carriers TSC often uses. I was told I had no options. My reply was that the company had the option of which carriers to use. For a company to use a carrier that does not work for me and to have that take it or leave it attitude left me stunned. Needless to say, I hung up.

Thanks for nothing

I bought 2 pairs of shoes. They really talk up the " easy returns". Unfortuntely the shoes were extremely uncomfortable. The purchase came to about $230 with free shipping. I returned them and disovered I got all but approximately $27 back. That $27 was for shipping and restocking. They certainly don't talk that up. I paid $27 for an experience. It was not a good experience!

Hacked credit card

My card has been hacked via TSC please be careful. Luckily i used that card only on this website that is why u was sure its through TSC, i blocked my card
Rather to investigate and catch the person who delivered item using my card they refused to admit its via them

Be Careful of Discounts
January 16, 2018

I placed an order the other day because it said 15% off EVERYTHING. So you put the item you want to purchase in your cart and there's an area where you enter a Promo Code to get the discount which shows up when you go to pay. The system accepted my Promo Code, which it won't if the Promo Code doesn't apply to your purchase. Well to sum it up, I went to pay for my purchase and the discount wasn't applied 15% may not be much, but it covers the price of shipping which in a lot of cases is a big deal. So be careful when TSC says it has a discount. You may not get it?

Not happy with service!

I made purchases on TSC easy pay, I have around 18 or so purchases. Hackers got ahold of my card, so I went to my bank, and cancelled my bank card and got a new one. I replaced my old card with my new card, and all hell broke loose...TSC's easy pay is now rejecting some of the easy pay purchases and TSC keeps sending me e-mails to contact them so one of their customer care team personnel or finance. When I do, the sales personnel transfer me, I am put on hold for 20-30minutes, then the beeping starts and I am cut off. TSC won't help me fix my account and they cut me off from shopping at TSC... I am so very hurt. When I do get to talk to someone, they sound really grouchy and hateful. I am bound to them for almost the end of 2023. They make unauthorized debit amounts on my bank account, they don't list why? I don't want to stop paying them, for I am trying to build my credit, so for now, I am stuck! I hope that no one else is going through this. This just adds extra stress in my life, I thought shopping was suppose to be fun, not for me.

Horrendous Company

I ordered a TV via the company's website for Black Friday. After a week and a half of the order not being processed, I had to phone to inquire as to why my order was not being process. It took approximately 45 minutes on the phone to get any sort of answer. Upon discussion with the customer service rep, I was told that they would execute the order within one business day.
The next day I checked my order online to see the progress only to find that my item was backordered and there was no date in which to expect the TV. Again, I spent another 30+ minutes on the phone with their customer service team because I received no communication regarding my TV being on backorder. It was during this call that due to TSC's failure to execute the order, that they over sold the product, and it was no longer available. The customer service rep promised to investigate the issue and resolve it. I was also promised that the issue would be rectified, and I would receive a call the next day. However, no call was received. The only communication I received was an template email the following day that the item wasn't available and instructing me to call in to cancel the order. The customer service rep simply stated that it's not their problem and effectively stated tough luck. They offered no options for resolution. I therefore had to spend another 30+ minutes on the phone trying to cancel the order.

Toolbox warranty
February 11, 2023

Bought a gold edition 56 inche chest type tool box in July of 2022 in Lebanon Tn.
Gold edition comes with a 5yr warranty plastered all over the side.
After months of searching approximately 3 months the finally found the recipient with the phone number in tow. The phone number never showed up anything that I've bought there. Not chainsaws, propane tanks etc etc etc. Why ask for your phone number at the register if it can't find anything that way.
After and hour on the phone with customer service and the with ACS another joke why do they advertise one thing to make you jump through even more hoopes to get the warranty that you obviously payed for when you bought their item only to be told yoy HAVE TO BUY MORE INSURANCE FOR IT TO WORK.IT CLEARLY SAYS 5 YEAR WARRANTY ALL OVER THE BOX. But as I'm told that only works if you go through another ( the third company) to get this addressed. False advertising, deceptive labeling and a absolute lack of accountability has lead me to this wonderful review.
If it says 5yr warranty it should mean a 5yr warranty not 30 days oh and remember this has been going on for over 3 months and the box I paid for is still in 2 pieces because I simply could not get in to it when I needed to most. So the box only lasted maybe 4 months and I'm still waiting on another company now to decide if the warranty will be any good.
