If you still get to see my review: This website uses a sunk cost psychology trick to get you to spend 20 minutes on the website waiting for fake searches to run in the background and add more info until asking for 30 bucks at the end to show anything you may find online just using good old google. And even if you waited for 20 minutes for the data to "gather" mindlessly clicking "yes, I want this info" in various forms, it's still not available immediately. What a rip-off!

I needed information on a relative. The information given was readily available from free sources. I checked another name to see if this was the norm. The information on this other person was critically outdated and inaccurate. I emailed them shortly after my purchase and voiced my displeasure, asking for a price reduction-they didn't give me the courtesy of a reply. Avoid this company and keep your $ for a more worthy investment.

This is a great service product. Once I received the information that I needed the cancellation process was quick and easy. When I called, a TruthFinder rep was on with me in less than 30 seconds (didn't have to sit on my phone for an endless time waiting!). She was super friendly, easy to understand (I always have a difficult time understanding heavy accents from foreign countries), and took care of my request to cancel instantly. If the need arises, I will not hesitate to reactivate their services.

I entered a name with intent of only learning the address, and decided not to purchase the information. However, the company grabbed my computer's IP address and has been reminding me by a pop-up ad every other day. I'll find out how to block that, but will never go to this site again

They misrepresent what it will cost to do a search. I wanted an email address. It cost additional money to "purchase" the "email report", my results. Furthermore, within hours, my credit card information was used to attempt to make a $560 purchase. This is the only site where I provided the number in many days. I would not use this untrustworthy, costly site again. Research too late shows other, cheaper, safer sites.

Easy for anyone to use. Reasonably priced reports. Scary how many sexual offenders are out there and looking for mothers of young children to move in with. These mom's do not have a clue the danger they are exposing their kids to and the life long trauma abuse victims endure. It is very important to check the back round of any person that will be living with your kids or taking care of them unsupervised. You might have to use more than one company to check out back rounds because it is so important.

Truth finder has no basis in truth whatever! Did a background check on my disabled son whom which I know has no criminal history of any kind and it came back with claims of
Being included in government watch lists and prior arrests. The only accuracy contained in his report was his name and that of mine and my husband. Don't waste your time or money! If you want a accurate background check I suggest you contact the police department in the county in which the individual lives. Wish I could've given zero stars... this company is truly a scam!

Wastes your time trying to bait you into buying inaccurate and falsified information. Save yourself the headache and go to an actual professional for this sort of stuff.

This is the second site I have signed up with and had the most outdated and inaccurate information by far. Simply unreliable at best. I honestly got better and more detailed information by doing a bit more digging simply on the web. I was able to compile far more accurate and up to date information than this website that got me for over $75. They charge to download any information. Ridiculous. I will not put my proof of purchase on the review by trusting the pertinent information is blocked.The individuals writing about how great customer service is, clearly are people who work there. If I'm calling customer service for an online service, there has to be a problem. That should tell you a great deal in itself. Worthless and expensive. Don't waste your money.

Do not use. Signed up and ran search, took credit card info and received "unable to process " message, meanwhile they charged my card 6 times. Total scam. Blocked transaction and notified Bank immediately.

Had a glitch in March on my account. As a plus with Truthfinder, you can actually talk to a real person: I had the good luck to get 'Roxanne'. She followed all the protocols, asked how she could help, and followed every bullet point of great Customer Service. I would hire her in a minute!
Not only did she solve my billing issue, but also tailored my plan to my needs. Am a senior that runs my own travel consultant small business, I chose Truthfinder based on it's positive reviews and I would like to add mine to the list!

This was a helpful report in confirming some information I had and helping me find additional information needed to pursue a personal matter. I'm very grateful for services like this that make it easy to find information. Not all records were up to date but I do not believe this any reflection of truth finder or their services. It would be nice, however, if the sign up options included a one time report without a monthly subscription tied to it so you don't have to remember to go cancel if you don't want it moving forward.

We have used it twice-once with no useful information, the second on my mobile when a site with a different name took us to the Truthfinder site. In both cases, the number of pop-up requests to follow-up the searches is unceasing. I can't open either the computer or the phone without that popping up. Almost every time I change tabs. I can't find a way to unsubscribe. I didn't get far enough into the first to pay for anything and the second one I got off as soon as I saw the address.

Ran a check on myself just for fun. The "report" I received had info from my current State Only and that was sparse. They had a 23 year old phone # but didn't have my current one, had my current address but none of my past addresses. Only had one of my Wives & had her listed as an associate or friend, same with her family.
Had a few local sex offenders (which I could care less about) but no where near all of them. I got a incomplete police report, nothing about employment history, other States I had lived in, My other two Wives including the Mother of my Son! In short there was nothing in there that I couldn't have gotten with a simple Google search. Bah, don't waste your money.

There isn't anything in the reports that you can't find yourself for free. Most of the info isn't recent and some wrong information. Don't waste your money.
