Trip.com is convenient website to use but they don't offer 24 hour change tickets policy like most of airlines offer. After I booked my tickets to multiple cities and I would like to change the date, the tickets are not even issued ( 96 hours it says) but I can not change the date. Thus it's not really flexible. A 24 hour policy would be great especially I have not event got my tickets to multiple countries.
It is easy to manage my trips all in one app, I get notifications about changes, I get tracking, and more. So, it simplifies your life when you are abroad.

I have found trip.ca to be a helpful and convenient way to book my Asia flights and my hotel exoeriences. In the past I have had few problems and when I did Trip was quick to attend to the problems and provide alternatives.
I should add that the few problems stemmed from hotels falsely exaggerating their services; not the fault of trip.

My first experince with Trip.com was not that good, my flight reservation was moved to the night time, it was understandable since it was the airflight who changed it, then I cancelled and move to another airflight, but I could not check-in either from Trip.com or from original airflight website, since it was locked by trip.com, finally I missed the flight

I tried to book this trip using various sites like Momondo, Skyscanner, and Google flights. I saw really cheap fares but of course once you get redirected to those shady travel sites the adventure and bait and switch begins. I had to cancel other bookings once they switched pricing. This fare was among the lowest but not the lowest however it is a legit agency that immediately sends e-confirmation and itinerary.

The other day, I was booking a ticket from Melbourne to Amritsar through Skyscanner. Every sales website was displaying prices that were not including check in luggage and hence end price was higher than initial price displayed. Luckily I clicked on Trip.Com and price displayed was less than others and also had 30KG checked in baggage included so it was the best deal provided.

Booked a return flight to Sydney with Jetstar for a day to attend a family funeral.
5 minutes before boarding time on the flight back, it was cancelled and it wouldn't allow me to book alternative flight. Rang Trip.com and spoke to someone who was very helpful and was told I could be on the next flight to Brisbane but need to do it at checkin counter. Was told at Jetstar counter its no longer available so either wait the next day or take flight to Gold Coast which we did as we needed to get home to our dog because there is no one else to look after him. Took us 3 hours to get home what would normally only take 15 minutes from Brisbane airport.

Compared prices on a website for flight Singapore to Melbourne, presuming the prices were all in Australian dollars for each airline.
Chose the most competitive flight being one on Trip.com and booked our flight.
Only realised on checking my bank entry that the price I paid was in Singapore currency, not Australian currency as presumed like the other airlines.
My receipt showed S$505.40 but I failed to notice the S in front of the dollar sign presuming it was Australian dollars like the other prices until I checked my bank details and worked out the discrepancy with the $600.88 entry.
Not an honest, level playing field I believe - disillusioned!

Answer: Do not book with them. If anything happens and you need to modify your booking they will not help you. They have canceled people's bookings at the last minute as well. This company is all about the money. Once they have your payment they are done with you. DO NOT book travel arrangements with them. Read the reviews and I'm speaking from experience. The price is good but if anything happens they will take your money and will not help you.
