It was so helpful to talk with Sally. I had noticed my dog doesn't pee and poop both on the pee pad, but didn't understand why and she helped me. She also confirmed my feeling that I was confusing the dog by taking him outside and providing pee pads.

I am learning so much about my dogs and how to train them. Like how simple things I didn't know greatly affect my dogs' learning ability. This program recognizes the need to train the trainers before they attempt to train their dogs. Both I and my dogs are learning at the same time and it's wonderful to see how quickly behavior can be adapted. I never realized how eager dogs can be to learn new things. This program is a learning tool for all of us. That's a lot to say for a 67 yr. Old who has been around dogs his entire life!
I really didn't think that training two dogs would be so difficult. Sally thinks I should have trained them to a potty spot in the yard and not be walking and walking them and be pulled in two directions all the time. I am not sure I can re-train them.
This will be a major thing if we can get him to quit jumping on and harassing our older dog.
Buster and I have created an immense bond and seeks attention at the right times and I give at the right time. Bad behavior portrait by Buster like biting is highly ignored and Buster would realise this and gives up and get to its dog house and relax. Good behaviors are rewarded. The only thing is that Buster would still relief himself where unwanted and this is realised by myself from work... While we are together it goes to a desired and chosen spot.
